I checked the site, but I prefer going by my screen-name, if you don't mind. Sorry, I'm just not fond of my real name. And I use Doctor McCrimmon on everything but legal documents and boring adult crap. Doctor McCrimmon is what most people call me, or just Doc.

 

But here's an example of my vocal range and accents. I did it for a sample to help somepony else who wanted to a sample of my voice but didn't have any lines specifically set for audition (it was a comic dubbing, and I wanted to know which ponies I should try for)

Unfortunately, other than Wednesday and Thursday nights, I'm at work. And weekends are the busiest time for me… so I can't talk. Feel free to add me, and we can discuss things pretty much any morning, or Wednesday or Thursday evening. I normally am still asleep, but I woke early today (by 45 minutes, not enough time to get more sleep), or I would probably not be replying to this until tomorrow morning.

This villains name is Prometheus, named after the Greek God, know to be the creator of Man,

As a agreek and adept in Greek mythology i will tell you this. Prometheus did NOT create Man. He was the one that helped the humans. The humans were originally created by Zeus. Zeus appointed Prometheus and Epimetheus to give gifts to the humans. Epimetheus Prometheus' brother took the responsibility in order to relieve Prometheus from some of the Godly duties he was appointed to... but he forgot to give skills and gifts to the humans. Prometheus tried to be the benefactor of humans but stole Hephestus' fire in order to do so. Doing so made Zeus create Pandora, which every god gifted with something (Hera gave undying curiosity to Pandora which caused her to open the box), and the box which contained all the world's evil but also had "hope" in it. She married to Epimetheus opened the box, yada, yada, yada Zeus imprisoned upon Kaukasus (bla bla bla torture and eagles eating his renewing guts each day)Prometheus there he kept bragging how he knew a secret that would make him lose his power. In the end Prometheus was released by Zeus' son Hercules and together they wanred Zeus of the great secret that would doom him and that was that if he had a kid with Thetis (Achille's mom) he would die because it was prophesized that her kids would grow stronger than their father. To show his gratitude he set him free and the end happy ending.

And this tottaly explains why you had a misconception about Prometheus. Sorry if i sounded obnoxious i just felt the need to tell you this.

No worries, i tend to get easily confused with both Greek and Roman myth. Yet, i though Prometheus was the creator of man from clay. Yet im glad u pointed that out.

Actually the clay part is part of the bibble cosmos i think. Anyways... i might need to search it again extensively. Because i involve several greek myths in my headcanon about the changelings.

Yeah......like i said, it tends to get confusing, lol.   BTW, gotta get this off my chest, but are Changelings and Shapeshifters different.  Reason is..............I may introduce the "Shapeshifting" Spell, which will be considered an Ancient and Illegal Spell to use.

Okay.........b/c I was thinking, yet this will be mentioned later.   The other Alicorns will possess the power of Shape-shifting as in transforming into anything they desire.   When I thought of Changeling, I thought they would be similar, but i remembered Cadance stating that they transform into "ponies others are in love with" or something like that.   That's why I wanted to ask you, do you think they seem similar or different.

The power of the changelings depends on their energy/love reserves. In the BronyCAN comic i've seen the Queen transform into a dragon (not a huge one but a dragon indeed). So depends on the power. Yes they are capable of the same things it just depends on the resources available each time (see Queen Chrysalis defeating Celestia).

On the topic of Changelings vs Shapeshifters:

 

In common media and myths, they are different, depending on the continuity you choose. Changelings are (in the original legend/myth/whatever) children of monsters switched with real children and raised by humans. Whereas Shapeshifters change their appearance more at-will.

 

In other more recent media:

Changelings are still generally resigned to one form until their true form is revealed, while Shapeshifters are (again) a more at-will shape changer.

 

Really, it depends on how the writer wants to make it. Because you don't HAVE to follow the myths to make a good back story. As long as you explain it well enough within the story, it's sometimes nice to flip common preconceptions on their heads!

My name is Ryan Wiseman, I go to a magnet school specializing in Video Production/Television Broadcasting and I am taking a Music Technology Course.

 

For this project, I would like to help in Sound Mixing and Mastering. It is a bit different from sound design and I would like to deliver my creative edge to the project.

 

I may not have held a job in mixing and mastering music yet, but I have done a lot of other projects and would love to help grow my skills in Sound Mixing and Mastering.

I own the studio monitors (speakers) and studio headphones to mix and master the audio well. I own a pair of Yamaha HS80s and Audio Technica ATH M50s. Both are flat and accurately describe the audio I am hearing. I also use Waves Mercury Bundle Plug Ins. What are they? Industry grade plug ins that are some of the best I have used and are really expensive (Some sites sell them for $10,000). They can help clean up audio, detect un needed frequencies, clean up the audio, amongst different things.
