I watched Frozen and thought it was nice. That being said, I wonder why people are saying that this was the best Disney movie in a while along with Tangled when there were movies such as Wall-E, Up, and Wreck-It-Ralph that were also popular. I know Wall-E and Up were produced by Pixar, but that company was bought out by Disney.

I really would've enjoyed the movie if Olaf was voiced by Gilbert Gottfried.

Go ask the Vine community, they have gotten out of hand really fast. Myself, I didn't see Frozen, but I do have heard of Let it Go, and the overused "Do you wanna build a snowman".

I admit that I am one of those people who is Frozen obsessed (although my love for the movie has started to slowly go down...) It's because it was brilliantly plotted, the animation was mouth dropping gorgeous, the characters were lovable (and not to mention very relatable!), and the music was beautiful. Of course, this is all just my opinion, but I can honestly say that it is my favorite Disney movie... ever (if I HAD to choose). I didn't think that any Disney movie would ever top Tangled, but oh boy... Frozen wasn't only better then Tangled, but it improved on the few things that Tangled didn't quite do as well as I would have hoped.

 

THIS IS ALL JUST MY OPINION THOUGH! I don't want to start a flame war. I LOVE Tangled, and I have to admit that Pascal is probably my favorite Disney sidekick ever (although I love Olaf a lot as well), so please don't think I'm hating on it! Thank you.

I loved the movie, and am finally sold on Disney focusing on CGI because of this. That means nothing though, since this movies has some odd moments that start driving me mad when I rewatch it. I get the distinct feeling that the movie evolved so many times in early development that that what was finally produced is mostly a 'best of' reel.

 

Then there are the missed opportunities. Would it have killed them to do a reprise of 'Would You Like To Build a Snowman" when Elsa was standing over Anna?

 

  = What it would have done to every person in the audience hearing Elsa respond to Anna's earlier requests from the door.

 

Frozen had a few missed moments like that.

it's the first "Tradtional" Disney flim in a damn long time that actually reached the peaks of works like The Lion King and Sleeping Beauty (Not terribly fond of Beauty and the Beast). Tangled was a straight up comedy and Wreck it Ralph, while imo equal or slighty better than Frozen has a very different feel due to being an original story based around a recent subject rather than adaptions of fairy tales/other classic stories. It's basically confimed that Disney is back as a big hitter in good flim making and not just stuck in the shadow of Pixar (Who seems to be losing it's touch if Cars 2 and Brave are any indicators) and Dreamworks (Who after How to Train your Dragon actually stepped up their game a lot).

 

Also Elsa is 10/10 ofc lel

It's a great film, it's what made me want to be a Disney animator (Well, confirm it anyway) but it's majorly overrated. Additionally, the incest shippings between Elsa and Anna are disgusting and the fans are desperate to make random connections to other films. Great, Rapunzel was in the background, can we stop going on about it now?

But seriously, why do the incest ships exist? I practically have a naval fleet from various animes and such, but why incest?

Sorry, the fanbase is really annoying me at the minute and it seemed a good place to have a mini rant.

Probably because it was apparently a good movie. And people are probably gonna start hating it because they think it's the cool thing to do, just like they do with anything that gives a hint of popularity.

 

I haven't seen the movie yet though, so I don't really have a stake in this argument, but I don't see why it's bad that so many people like it, it's never really bugged me

Dude it was a great movie and it deserves the praise just Let it go, people loves this movie and Love is an Open Door, it just feels like the for the first time in forever a movie was made this well sure it could of used a fixer upper or two and hopefully next year in summer another movie will be made that could hopefully top this one. Just don't question it let the fans be fans. Oh and this might sound like a weird thing thing too ask but i just have to, do you want to build a snowman?
