Bungie/343- Halo

Rockstar- GTA, Red Dead

(And here comes the hate train: WOO WOO!) Infinity Ward/Treyarch/Sledgehammer Games- Call of Duty series.

iD- Doom and Wolfenstein, the fathers of FPS

Dice- Battlefield

Rare (Before Microsoft)- Banjo Kazooie, GoldenEye, Dk64, Donkey Kong Country series, Star Fox 64

CD Project are the only one I respect for the way they released tons of DLC for The Witcher 1 and 2 for free when they could've charged a lot of money for it like every other company do these days. They also created GoG, 'nuff said

Nintendo is my favorite company. They have tons of colorful franchises such as Mario, Zelda, and Pokémon. I prefer games with colorful cartooney graphics and I think Nintendo is the king in that category. People complain that they don't have many "mature" games like other companies today and they bash Nintendo for being kiddie or outdated but it's like the perfect game company for me. Besides they don't just rehash their most popular series, they make new IP's as well such as Fossil Fighters, Splatoon, Harmoknight, and Tomodachi Life. They have plenty of other games besides the Mario, Donkey Kong, Zelda, and Pokémon series. Plus Nintendo make me feel the happiest of all other game companies. I love the colorful cartooney light hearted nature of most of their games which is also why I love Friendship is Magic.

 

Another favorite company is Atari/Infogrames for the Rollercoaster Tycoon Series and Humongous Entertainment PC games which were like my childhood. I also liked Rareware until they were bought by Microsoft. I like Sega mainly for Sonic.

For individual developers? Grasshopper, Platinum/Clover, Kojima Productions, Bungie, Irrational Games and Rockstar

Nintendo and Atlus, definitely! I always trust them to put out good stuff. I've been pretty loyal to Nintendo ever since my early days of playing SNES when I was, like, 6. I've been into Atlus RPGs since the PS1 days.

Nintendo is honestly my favorite company. I consider Nintendo games fun to play, great to look at (since Nintendo tends to avoid a more "realistic" look for a more colorful look, their games can still look great years later), and are just overall enjoyable.

 

I also like Sega and Capcom, but just for Sonic and Mega Man respectively.

Sony (It counts, right?)- I just like alot of those Playstation exclusive titles.

Platinum Games- Known for making over-the-top action games. Excactly my kind of thing!

Nintendo- Metroid, Zelda, Mario, Super Smash Bros., Pokémon, their list of great games goes on!

Capcom- Mega Man X, Devil May Cry and Lost Planet are some of my favorite games from that company.

Konami- Oh my god... METAL GEAR!

Big fan of Treasure and HAL Labs.

 

Treasure perfected an asthetic with games like Dynamite Headdy and Gunstar Heroes, and made one of my favorite Bullet Hells in the form of Ikaruga. HAL on the other hand made some of my most favoorite games period: Mother 2, Mother 3 and Super Smash Brothers Melee, as well as the Kirby series.

And they put heavy weight on patching and updating in order to make the games even better.

 

In contrast to other companies who just spits out "new" games every year.
