So the Fox animated sitcom Bob's Burgers is doing a brony episode this Sunday

So what do you think of this. Do you think this will be funny or downright insulting because after all, you know about what Fox News said.

 

From what I've seen of this show, it's pretty decent I'd rather watch it over the stuff made by Seth MacFarlane.

I think Bob's is significantly more tasteful as a series than other shows of it's ilk. Sure it's still satire, but it's more pertinent than what shows like Family Guy have become. I think this is definitely going to be a Brony bash, but it'll probably be a good one.

Well I did have a preview clip and one of those the jokes was about analyzing the show. It was kind of funny knowing the analysts in our fandom.

Literally anything would be better than Family Guy. Drowning in a swimming pool filled with razor blades would be better than Family Guy. I say, bring it on, show that I have never seen.

Love Bob's Burgers so I'm looking forward to it. At the same time I'm cringing a bit because I'm not sure what direction it's going to do, though Bob's has never done any bashing from what I can remember.

 

I'm just thrilled it isn't Family Guy, I am so sick of that horrible show, and that one would just bash the fandom.

I don't watch and and I barely know what it is, so I could care less.

 

The "mature" animation I really watch outside of anime is Futurama(hands down, the best western "adult" cartoon), The Simpsons on occasion, and the earlier seasons of Family Guy before it got so political.  

Don't forget the gut-bustingly hilarious references to obscure 80's films, Saturday morning cartoons, and classic television shows!

 

Didn't American Dad basically do a joke like that with Anthrocon/Furcon already?

Like the saying goes, 'any publicity is good publicity'. Matters not what the show or the news station or anyone else does or doesn't think of the fanbase; we're big, we've made outrselves known legions of times over, and they recognize it so much that they're featuring a themed episode for it. Sounds good to me. Non-fans will look at the episode, and while some will decide to pass it off stereotypically and narrow-mindedly, others will no doubt check things out for themselves, and some of those people will become bronies from it.

Futurama was amazing all the way through in my opinion. Sure, it had stinkers, but it never felt like they were giving it less than their all over there. I actually like Bob's Burgers, and hope they handle the subject tactfully (they usually do).

People watch that show? huh weird, well other than gaining a few new fans, and maybe one or two new "hatters", I don't see much coming of this. Most of the world won't care enough to get the reference, or will just forget it the next day. Seems like bobs burgers is going to get more brony viewers now than FiM is going to get bob's burgers watchers.
