I haven't checked yet, but I'm sure it would be blocked! This site is NSFW, so muuch violence sex drugs and lewd content! I'm surprised there haven't been legal measures to remove this inappropriate site!

In all seriousness it is pretty funny that school boards consider this a malicious site that detracts from student's education and ability to learn. Makes me feel proud to be a brony, actually.

I used to have a part time job in an office that blocked this site. So I had to learn the magic of proxies to access this place!

But I can see why they would block this site, all the pornographic material, and horrible language and behavior would surely defile the business's good image!

Oh yeah, and 4Chan oddly enough was not blocked.

Our school has a white list, I can grantee this is blocked...

even if it wasn't I'd get in trouble for not doing my work....

it seems I'm the only one who goes to a strict school around here....

Some schools block ALL blogs and forums.

As stupid as it is.

Don't know how you can come to such a conclusion.

blocked. but proxies, man!

Any competent admin will block all proxies.

I'm honoured that my humble 5-month-old pony forum has already been deemed dangerous to students' academic progress.

Congratulations, you radical subversive!

My school is a college, where they honestly do not care what you do as long as it is not porn. And that is most certainly something that should be kept in your own bedroom.

Some teachers use Youtube to show educational videos, rather than buying the video themselves. Youtube videos remain constant, and cannot be affected by anyone but the user who uploaded them, so if an educational video is posted, it can help schools with price cutting. Wikipedia can easily be altered by anyone, and is a frequest stop for trolls which makes it unreliable at times. Becuase of this, Wikipedia is, more often than not, banned in K-12 schools because of this.

I hate when people say Wikipedia isn't reliable.

They obviously haven't heard of citations.
