gaming Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare

Hey all, so this year's Call of Duty got leaked last night, then the trailer officially released this morning. Here it is.

 

 

So, what do you guys think? I personally think that it looks like it is going to be a fresh Call of Duty for once, and it looks pretty epic with the technology element. I mean, this is more technologically advanced than Black Ops 2.

 

 

If you didn't know, CoD: Advanced Warfare is being made by Sledgehammer Games. Here is a video Drif0r made that showcases their past. As a CoD fan, all I can say is "please save us, Based Sledgehammer."

 

The official world reveal of the game is this Sunday, May 4th at Noon CST.

Boring and clearly not thought out title, MW3 was shit, game does not look like it knows what it wants to be, and it's trying too hard to be different. In all honesty, I really think it's just gonna be a repeat of all the other COD games with fancy weaponry.

I used to play Call of Duty a lot. I've since moved on. I'll probably still pick it up, just probably not pre-ordering. Our gamestop gives you a number when you pre-order, so regardless of when you arrive at the store, they call you by number to get your game.

3arc is still the best and Infinity Ward sucks honestly. I only liked the MW games, but Ghosts was pretty crappy.

I've heard some things about the new studio but I'm not having high hopes.

Well most call of duty titles has been made in less than two years, but since Sledgehammer games apparently have been on this for 3 years, it will be interesting to see what they can put on the table. I never care about the campaign, I always just play the multiplayer, so I can't really say anything yet.

 

Whether it will be meh or wow, I won't get it. I don't want to get a new console, I'm fine with my 360. Besides, I still enjoy playing BO2 a lot.

I'm still wary about this. The game looks and sounds...honestly boring. And Sledgehammer making it doesn't give me much hope(hated MW3)

 

I wonder if it's coming for last gen consoles still(feels so weird calling them that)....

It's gonna blow Battlefield 4 away, if they take their time with it, which I hope they will. Otherwise, it's just gonna be another CoD: Ghosts, with some pre-historic Crysis things added to it. You can do it, Sledgehammer - don't screw this up!

I've played every CoD since the original Modern Warfare...and so far the best one in my opinion is Black Ops 2...the recent Ghosts was a disaster of a game. So I'm kinda hoping this one will be decent...though I'm not really holding my breath. I'll probably be too busy playing Titanfall on PC though to even bother with this CoD. Infinity Ward has sucked with their last couple games...MW2 was their best one. I much prefered Treyarch's Black Ops series though.

 

Heck, I put Ghsots up for sale a couple weeks ago, and I haven't gotten a single offer on it. You know a game's bad when....

 

 

That all said, I still enjoy Black Ops 2.

You're kinda contradicting yourself...MW series and Ghosts were Infinity Ward. While Black Ops series and WaW were Treyarch.

Sadly, people are going to say that it is copying Titanfall, which is completely not true. Anyway, though I never played MW3, I hope that Sledgehammer Games can step up their game with this Call of Duty. Frankly, I won't expect much good luck to them.

Damn. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm actually kind of excited for this.

 

I thought Black Ops 2 was pretty fun, so this one should be good as well with it's even better technology.

 

I want to buy this at least for the single player. That trailer got me very interested. I usually enjoy COD campaigns. (World at War being my favorite)

Im a HUGE fan of Black Ops 2. So Im liking the new one so far with the technology. Juuuuuuuust as they dont go overboard. But at the end of the day, it cant be worse than Ghosts. Fun snipers and focus on competitive and I may finally be able to move from BO2.

Honestly, the CoD needs to be put to rest, just like the NFS franchise. Activision is clearly trying too hard to appeal fans, and I only had both Black Ops and Black Ops 2 for the sole purpose of zombies. I wish Activision would try and make a standalone CoD game that revolves with zombies. Then I would consider buying it...

This franchise has been hated so hard I'm getting more sick of that then the games themselves.

Though to be honest, seeing as how Sledgehammer have one other game behind them, and that was "meh" I doubt this will do good. Even considering the position the franchise is in, which is near guaranteed 10's of millions.

No matter how many people complain about CoD, it's gonna keep coming every year. We should just view this as nature's course by now or something. But this looks okay, just hoping they don't take it overboard with the future stuff. And if they do, they'll try to shove it in our faces by doing something like this.
