It is? It seemed hard to believe. People like me usually only read the topic then post. Your post should have got more attention and this thread should have got closed, then.

Yeah .. it is. My first post was quoted above your last post actually, by pony.colin

Metro apparently just .. pulled this out of their asses? I guess? Bad journalism is bad.

They ate all of their dogs so they've moved to cabbages it seems. Ok, ok, I know that joke was tasteless but come on, someone had to. I think this is the coolest thing ever. I'd totally do it if it was a social meet up thing.

The only thing that bothers me is what these Chinese teens did with all of these cabbages after this was over.

Did they at least eat them and give them a proper death?

I don't get how walking a cabbage is art? If i poop my drawers and then put them on a leash and walk through the streets with a streaky mess behind me is that art?

I guess when some journalist sees kids walking around with cabbage they automatically assume people are going crazy and they have them as pets.

People these days.

So a nation that has too many people and trouble feeding them is throwing away food like this? I can't defend this unless they stop complaining about their population.

Pet rocks are so much more economical.

First Wilson, now this.....entertaining and endearing (I read everything about this)....but at the end of the day, I still giggle at this...

Anyways, it's weird, but it doesn't harm anyone, but it's kinda sad, he probably lost faith in people to interact with them (I know, I'm dealing with that myself). I can't blame him if he prefers to interact with cabbages than people if that were the case

Note to self - Metro is almost as retarded as The Sun and Daily Fail. Even if by only a little.

They go to the cabbage vet and have them put down.

I'm just laughing at the people who posted links when deeming it fake; all you had to do was read the line about a Chinese person just throwing out a cabbage.

Joking aside, the premise is good, but the execution is lacking. It is much better to get something both inanimate and inedible like a pet rock (this is my Dutch side showing) than to waste a perfectly good cabbage by dragging it through the streets. Personally I like dogs and think they often make way better companions than many humans, but if you can't have a pet for any reason...

Would eating the cabbage be animal abuse?

Sig made by Kyoshi.

Cool things people have said about me:

Never heard of him but I guess just you mentioning him is a good reason not to go anywhere near that name.

(In reference to an author I suggested.)

Err...yeah I have absolutely no idea what's going on here.

I wonder if there'll be vets that accommodate treating cabbages before long?

I....yeah...yeah, doesn't surprise me, at this point, I don't think ANYTHING can.....

Would eating the cabbage be animal abuse?

Not if it's already dead. Which I'm pretty sure all cabbages are by default once they're severed from the plant they came from.

edit: apparently it's fake. Alrighty then.

Awww, this is so sweet and heartwarming <3 I'm really happy he's able to work through his friendship problems with the help of a cabbage. :yay:  Sometimes, the strangest things lead to the greatest possibilities, the world is truly a magical place. I'm happy for him  ^_^
