I don't know if I'm really a big name on FimFic I just write. Sure, people like my stuff and I've been on a few panels at cons, but I don't know about me being a big name or whatever.

 

By the way, when you (eventually) add in my fics, the first genre that I make a note to is where it would fit best amongst the categories.

 

Because I am an extraordinarily OCD individual, don't ask me how but I got them all up.  YAY!!!  :yay:  

 

BTW, thanks very much for that last note, made it considerably easier categorizing your stories.  :muffins:

 

I can't put it on FIMFiction.net because its under 1000 words, do I just copy+paste it?

 

What you should do is start your own topic in the Fan Fiction section of Octavia's Hall with the story, and leave a link here to that story.  That way we have a source to provide to readers to click on for your story that's outside of this thread, and won't have to clutter up this group itself with complete stories in random posts.

My first (and only, so far) MLP Fanfic.  I don't usually do this kind of writing project, but this was one of those ideas that came out of nowhere and just needed to be written down.  It also provided me with a minor epiphany about how I'm approaching an idea for a series of books that I'm currently working on.

@@Batbrony, So in general i heard something about the group on fimfiction doing stuff like review for review, or offering advice and stuff. I couldn't figure it out so much so could you give me a simplified version? Oh and an opinion on my fic in general would be nice.

Yeah, I noticed your OCD, including using the correct spelling of Big Mac and Applebloom (personally, I think both will work fine in my opinion, but the readers don't seem to mind too much).

 

And yeah, I figured it would be helpful for ya. Thanks for putting them all up!

No, just provide a link to wherever your story's posted (whether it's on FimFiction or in a separate thread in the Fan Fiction section of Octavia's Hall here on MLP Forums), and I'll be sure to get it added to our library.

Actually we do not have any ties to the group on FimFiction.  Harmonious Whovian and I were inspired by that group to put this one together, but we do not have the same set of rules as they do.  Basically, the most basic rules of this group are (1) leave a link to your fic if you want it added to the library, (2) someone reads and reviews your fic, you're obligated to read and review whatever they request you review, (3) you read and review a fic that is in our library, the author is obligated to read and review your fic that you request they review, and (4) no fics or reviews are posted in this thread (reviews should only be posted in comments sections of fan fictions themselves, not here).  Hope this helps.  :)

I am somewhat deep in a story involving a crossover with Homeworld at the moment, Where the Heart Is (yeah, a bit of a cliche title, but better than anything I could come up with). There's also a thread here, but it's extremely out of date, so I didn't link it.

 

It should definitely be listed under "Crossover".
