I voted Characters just because of this one perfect puffball.

 

 

Yeah, Pinkie Pie is the best thing about MLP for me All my favourite episodes have her in it, she's just so playful and cute and provides me with a ton of energy and laughs. She reminds me of my younger sister. ^^ She's almost like medicine, if I'm ever stressed out, I just put on a Pinkie episode and it immediately eases me.

On top of that... I like how fleshed out the characters are in general! They can be sarcastic/stupid when needed, and that makes 'em down-to-Earth.

Hard choice between the characters (Derpy, Discord... <3), the animation (some places like the Rainbow Falls are wonderful), and the plots.

...And the songs!

 

I voted for the characters, but unlike some fans here my favorite character (Derpy) isn't the main reason I watch the show. They're all great.
