Mortal Combat. Oh man, that is the epitome of video game violence that no other game matched (Sorry, better graphics doesn't necessarily mean more blood, but the impact that it had on the world does)

Silent Hill 1, 2, and 3. Especially with the third one and first one. There is a part of the game where the walls in a building were made of living flesh in the third game. The first one had like a giant fan in a school in the otherworld with bits of blood and flesh on it, as well as the with the dead people on ceremonial clothing throughout the otherworld; like one was in a bathroom stall being hanged by a bunch of wires, all bloody and dismembered.

For me Dead Space in general wins. I have to admit, if death scene can even be cathegorized as "creative" then creators of Dead Space are very creative. Every death scene is full of gore, painful, it really makes me feel sorry for Isaac and motivates me to kill enemies and prevent him from dying at all cost. Just to avoid that sight. It's weird, because despite the fact that this game is VERY gory it also is very sad, Isaac goes through lots of hell and I feel sorry for him as for video game character.

...and Hive Mind death scene will creep me out for eternity... if someone wants to see it then it is on YouTube, but for me one time is already enough.

Since you said bloodiest i'll just say the entire Splatterhouse game in general. I know a lot of scenes in games that are pretty bloody, Grey Fox getting smushed to death by Metal Gear Rex, Silent Hill environments and Dead Space deaths, but Splatterhouse is bloody throughout.

I don't play very many bloody games, so of the games I've actually played I honestly can't think of anything bloodier than the Ganondorf and Ganon death scenes from Ocarina of Time.

Any crime scene during the homicide beat in L.A. Noire, but with special mention going to that god damned third one. That was seriously one of the most fucked up things I've seen in my life.

^ Although I thoroughly enjoyed Dead Space 1 + 2, the death scenes / animations would come very close to pissing me off lol.  Rather than being grossed out or scared or what have you.  *I* had failed to keep the character alive, and the result was obviously horrific.  I had a similar reaction to being caught by that chainsaw-wielding Ganado in Resident Evil 4.

And though I haven't played any of the recent Ninja Gaiden titles...  Darn they're bloody lol.  I get blood and gore if it's a survival horror game or the like; you wanna create a certain atmosphere and those are some of the tools available.  But excessive graphic violence / dismemberment in a NG title?  This enhances the game play experience...  How??  Granted, I've only played the NES titles, and no - those weren't particularly bloody. xD

I am almost sure that Gears of War games are the most bloody ones I've ever played, but may be I'm wrong. If anyone has played it, remember in GoW2 when you had to kill the giant worm? Well, I think that's got to be the bloodiest scene I've seen in a videogame! :o

I second this, certainly the 'most bloodiest' scene ever to me as the whole level was nothing but blood and guts...literally  :derp:

It's been a time since I don't play GoW... Think I'm going to play to revive some good memories :D It can be the bloodiest, but also one of the funniest games to play!

There are a lot of bloody scenes in games so it's hard to pick the bloodiest cuz that definition can change greatly from game to game.

For example, you can practically paint a room with blood in Bloodrayne 2. I've seen Splatterhouse has some crazy bloodspray. There's the intestine-ripping God of War. Flesh-monsters in Resident Evil. The blood is accentuated by the black and white tones in Madworld while the blood is crimson....there's just so many ways to make things bleed in a game.

I've had to edit out some links to overly violent youtube videos. Please try not to link to content that displays the "bloodiest scene from a game" and keep it at a simple description so as not to break the NSFW rule. Thanks guys
