What would other creatures look like in the human world

I'm just wondering, what would the counterparts of the other creatures in mlp, like griffins and changelings and discord would be like. Cause I'm not sure if they would be human considering spike's dragon to dog transformation.

What I dont understand is what dragons would become, spike was a dog but Im pretty sure fully grown dragons wouldn't become a cute puppy..Maybe they would turn into something a lot closer their size such as an elephant? Also dogs wouldn't go into the pony world and become dragons because they're dogs in Equestria.
