I've always loved that element to Pinkie - her ability to summon the craziest machines out of nowhere Remember, though, that Pinkie Pie is friends with pretty much everyone in Ponyville because she's that sociable and full of vigour. Someone either lent her a helicopter, or she built it herself. I'd like to think it be the latter, though; she always has the craziest ideas and I totally wouldn't put it past her The money would come from Sugarcube Corner income and resourcefulness. If you look at her helicopter, it's built out of springs, candy canes and flowers. And if you remember S1E24, she has a lot of random stuff lying around, so she'll have constructed something out of spare parts without needing to spend anything. A small headcanon I had (I might still have it, in fact... it was from last June) was that Pinkie is actually secretly loaded from an exterior source of income, but she keeps it secret from everyone so that they don't feel inferior. Again, wouldn't put it past someone as caring as Pinks

In order it would be this. Pinkie Pie. I attribute this mostly to Pinkie Pride, Maud Pie and Pinkie Apple Pie, her three episodes this season. Her characterisation was flawless in all three of them, and outside of the spotlight episodes she's been sterling at providing the comic relief that I'm sure practically all Bronies are a fan of in some form or another. I was very proud to see her Season 1 prominence revisited - an in-depth exposition and rejuvenation of the fact that she's a party planner, and heavy introduction of her family relationships with Maud Pie/Pinkie Apple Pie that we first got a glimpse of in Cutie Mark Chronicles, have really given her dimension. Oh, and there's also the fact that she's the best pony Twilight; her development has also been very noteworthy. Transitioning from freshmare princess to full-fledged royal authority - while still being down-to-earth - was a satisfying one to watch. Rarity; I've noticed her being less overly dramatic and more up to humorous quips. She's had a very big improvement from previous seasons for certain; perhaps the writers sensed it from the fanbase? If so, good for them Applejack; here's the median line, the two below I believe represent a decline in character. I don't feel as if Applejack has improved or declined, to be honest. This is a tie between Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy. Perhaps I've only noticed how restricted the writers have become with the two. Fluttershy now follows a basic formula for most of the episodes she's been in; they revisit her love of nature and her fearfulness of things - again - but those episodes felt like a consolidation rather than a development. The same applies for Rainbow Dash; her lack of character expansion has left her stale.

I voted Characters just because of this one perfect puffball. Yeah, Pinkie Pie is the best thing about MLP for me All my favourite episodes have her in it, she's just so playful and cute and provides me with a ton of energy and laughs. She reminds me of my younger sister. ^^ She's almost like medicine, if I'm ever stressed out, I just put on a Pinkie episode and it immediately eases me. On top of that... I like how fleshed out the characters are in general! They can be sarcastic/stupid when needed, and that makes 'em down-to-Earth.

I'm pretty sure we'd have nuclear cakes in abundance and the like. If Pinkie Pie became president, I would fuckin' love it, to be completely honest. Primarily because then everyone would know her cuteness and good will. I demand co-presidency from the off now! >:3

Representing the Party... Party! What laws would Pinkie uphold as president? Would she make investments in the confectionery industry? How about a bunch of new holidays?

It would be me and Pinkie... actually, it totally still is, because she's totally Best Pony, and I will keep hugging my Pinkie plush, but in the show universe I want to make sure she has the best possible husbandu over there, so it's CheesePie. Come on, they're totally cute together. Pinkie is the greatest, she deserves a guy like Cheese!

I don't think so. I might have gotten into it initially, but the Brony fandom itself is quite a large constituent of my enjoyment of the show. (The rest is Pinkie Pie) I say that because we must remember that the Brony fandom came from 4chan, and that's an image-based website. It took off from where it is because everyone loved to make image macros out of it. That would've been a lot harder to do with the traditional animation, right? The facial expressions would've been less outright and adaptable to reaction images and the like. If the fandom grew from traditional animation, there'd be a lot less of that foundation stone and thus we'd be less of an expansive community, and my interest in the show itself would wane in conjunction with that. Oh, and I wouldn't be able to enjoy that G3 scene from Too Many Pinkie Pies either

I'm afraid this at the very least is still true. I still maintain that when we saw Twilight fly at the end of Season 3, it was akin to a burst of flight ability that one would get upon receiving wings. Much like how a foal gets sudden surges of magic a la Baby Cakes - that reinstates EQG into the continuity. Although wasn't there already a tweet from McCarthy that said it wasn't canon to begin with?
