    Why would it be more interesting.. I'm not trying for a got-cha, I legitimately want you to explain your reasoning so I can better understand it. Why would her being hate-filled, and trying to ruin Twilight/other ponies lives be better, or more interesting that her just being antagonistic.

    Why would she be a villain? Literally, what would she have to gain from it. She wasn't even a villain to begin with, only once her mind was corrupted by an evil amulet did she actually do "villain" like things. She is just a pony who has an ego, when she lost her means of supporting herself (Because of twilight) she was willing to give everything, as she no longer had anything to lose. Now she's back and in the positive,......so she has no reason what so ever to be a villain.

    Hurrrrhurrr first pony convention. I'm not a very vocal brony, in terms of what I like, so when I had to tell my chef that I need off in august for a My Little Pony convention, it got rather funny. Fortunatly, my boss knows me very well (becasue he's dating my sister) and it all smoothed out. To top it all off, I have friends in the DC area, so just going to crash with them and ride the train into BAltimore daily, there's a stop right next to the convention center. Good times good times. To dress up, or not....

    I think the looming thought that her parents are dead, and the closest thing to a mother she has is mad and on her last hooves is a nice weighty "other thing" going. Not to mention that when Granny Smith goes to the great apple orchard in the sky, it will leave AJ to take care of completely everything. Seeing how all granny smith ever really does is charge zap apple production, that task may just fall on applebloom whom has been trained to do so, but maybe I'm just thinking a little too much into it.

      Alas I don't have one, however my bosses all do, what with them being from Ireland. They got us a hotel room to crash in during our time off, since some of us are going to be working back to back to hack double shifts, it's just easier than going home.

    They tried a similar thing with Rugrats. It was called "All grown up" and it never, never...NEVER captured the origional spirit of Rugrats. While I'm sure the writers could do a good job, and the lil gurls would buy up ithe toys, it simply wouldn't be ponies. Perhaps a single episode where we get a crystal ball of future, and see adult CMCs, but they do the Austin powers gag where there is something always blocking their cutiemarks. I'd probably die from laughter then.

    The same way there are still people who want the south to secede from the united states, have the US government teach that the world is still flat, or Reform the Soviet Union. Just because X number of people believe something should happen, doesn't mean it should happen. Don't forget X number of people also think that it shouldn't happen. As for exact numbers, most polls on here or other sites (like the one our mail pony takes from) suggest that the bulk of bronies "don't care". And the "Change her or else" group is a minority. What exactly is the "or there will be Hell to pay" I would like to know exactly what you've planned out for this.......

    No thank you. I quite like her as an alicorn and and look forward to seeing exactly what the writers have in store for her, and the rest of the mane 6. As for your group, ii do hope that you asked the original artist for permission to use their picture as your banner. They sometimes get a little annoyed if their work is used without credit.

      To me? no not really. You don't need to meet up at some convention to experience fandom. The fact that this forum exists for all of us to discuss MLP shows how much people love it. Conventions simply aren't my thing: I don't like the idea of stuffing a lot of people into a room then calling it a fun time.

      They are sort of what you make of it....panals and such are only one part. I went to a anime convention and spent my entire time in the dealers room and talking to artists.......there was also a corner for people to share pokemon with......good times. Lots of swag.

    To be frank, most people are ugly or weird looking. There are very few social groups you can't say "Why are all ____ so weird looking" and not have it be a sorta valid statement.
