1. The interesting thing about this episode is that this is the third episode where Luna has made an appearance in regards to one of the CMC having a problem they needed advice on. She helped out Scootaloo in "Sleepless in Ponyville" She helped out Sweetiebell in "For Whom the Sweetiebell Tolls" and now She's helped out Applebloom in "Bloom and Gloom" Where as the Mane Six probably have a closer relationship to Princess Celestia, it seems that the CMC might have a closer bond with Princess Luna.
2. Is it me or did Rainbow Dash act like Tank was going to die? I mean the way she acted in the episode was like somepony going through a permanent loss instead of a temporary one. She displayed classic emotions related to grief in the episode.
3. The things I remember best about the '80's were Fraggles, G1 MLP, Popples, and Care Bears.
4. Well, if you think about it Angel isn't exactly a fan favorite so maybe they thought it was a bit of fan service. I did like Angel's Angorran rabbit look though.
5. Interesting style. It sort of reminds me of impressionism.
6. My ponysona PittyPaws like collecting dolls based off of horror characters. Here she accidentally drops Pyramid Head on Filthy Rich. Hopefully the rich pony won't sue.
7. I just got Princess Luna at BAB. My cat even knows to bow before a princess. I have that same shirt too. It's one of my favorites.
8. You actually managed to find "Sweetie Drops" I've been looking everywhere for her. I guess she hasn't come out over here yet. Anyways The last pony related things I got were dolls of Dr. Hooves, Derpy, and DJ Pon3 from Hot Topic. One note. Interestingly they have their cutie marks on both sides.
9. Mountain Dew and right now a ginger molasses cookie which I am still in the process of devouring.
10. Blueberries taste like chicken.
11. Wow. It's been so long since I last said anything here. Anyways if there is one thing I miss these days it's actually having a home in the clouds. You see here in the section of Equestria where I live called Aripona there are a huge amount of pegasi. Some ponies even refer to the state as "Airy Pona". Now some time ago there was a law made that pegasi could own clouds as property. Many upper class pegasi, including celebrities like living in the clouds where the property taxes are mush higher because it's private and they can afford it. These huge properties are made when upper class pegasi pay real estate companies to push large amount of clouds in certain areas together so that they can have their "cloud mansions" (as I like to call them) up in the sky. They often don't leave many clouds for anypony else and so many of us have to live on the ground. Look. I'm not saying that living on the ground is bad, it's just that I miss the days when every pony wasn't so cloud greedy. Some of the Earth ponies that live here are complaining that the large "cloud mansions" sometimes cause rainstorms or block out the sun making it hard to grow stuff. Many ponies also believe that the "Cloud Ownership Right" is what lead to Aripona becoming a dessert as some places were left with no clouds and others had an over abundance of clouds. You can tell also about the different class regions too. Richer areas will have more clouds and poorer areas will have less. Some have none at all. I miss being on my own personal cloud because it is just so soft. I guess you don't realize what you have till it's gone. I've tried sleeping on moss, but it just isn't the same. It was nice to fly around up in the sky and then take a break on a cloud for awhile. Now when I fly up in the sky I have to take the trip back down to the ground without stopping for a cloud break.
12. I feel the exact opposite. I prefer the brushable manes. I'm not saying that i don't care for non brushable mane ponies, it's just that I like the idea of styling the manes.
13. You mean as in a random conversation via this particular thread? Sure why not?
14. These guys were originally supposed to be based off of the Ritz Brothers (ask your parents or maybe even your grandparents)
15. 3.5 It seems to be a mix of an angel and the Phantom of the Opera. I would rate it higher, but its slight draw back is that it could use perhaps a tad more detail. Not much mind you, just a tad.
16. Today I got the Cutie Mark Magic Skywishes. and the Water Cuties Diamond Mint. Speaking of Cutie Mark Magic isn't it odd how Flower Wishes was originally an Earth pony, but in the Cutie Mark Magic Series she's a pegasus?
17. According to this MLP wiki article here http://buildabearfans.wikia.com/wiki/My_Little_Pony Build A Bear will be releasing plushies of Luna, Cadence, and Shining Armor. No word on weather these will be released in stores or as online exclusives.

movies/tv Fraggle Rock

I loved Fraggle Rock as a kid. It was my all time favorite of the late great Jim Henson's creations.

It's just too bad that when Sabada released dolls of all the Fraggles they never made one of Mokey for

some reason.

I also drew the Mane Six as Fraggles: http://emeowrald.deviantart.com/art/I-Fraggled-The-Ponies-335919697

19. This little comic should be posted on more places in the net because a lot of people out there simply do not understand how freedom of speech works. This makes it very simple to understand.
20. Okay. I have to ask. What is the 4DE plushie? Are they coming out with a new line of plushies?
21. Alright. I really scored in merchandise today. 1. I found Nurse Redheart at Wal-Greens. 2. I found both the Princess Sterling and Princess Gold Lily sets 3. And a bunch of the blind bag ponies from the Breezie theme collection. (I am opening them now).
22. I was wondering if this was the episode that inspired some of the outfits that you can get for the Build a Bear MLP dolls. It seems that that is the particularly the case when it comes to the Fluttershy doll.
23. Someponies will come up to me and ask why I have dolls of human characters instead of the versions that are ponified. I realize why ponies like to have pony versions of characters who are not ponies. It is because when you make something like yourself it becomes easier to relate to. This is why fiction often has characters around the same age as the target audience. It is their way of saying: "Hey reader, everypony hear is just like you! These are your kind of ponies" Well, I guess I'm a purist at heart when it comes to certain characters. If they were created to be a certain species than they should stay that species as respect to their creator. This is also because sometimes ponies get confused as to what kind of pony (or nonequine) species a character should be. There was interest to do a ponified version of the old collection of tales known as "A Nightmare on Elm Street". The pony who thought of this was a stallion named Wes Cloven. Mr. Cloven originally had the idea to make an alicorn because of Princess Luna's ability to see into dreams. Well, Luna herself got word of this and wasn't really happy about the idea of a murderous monster that she felt was a personal attack on her. Not wanting to anger Princess Luna or Celestia for that matter, decided to just make Freddy into a regular unicorn instead. There is also the case of Leatherface from the "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" folklore. Originally ponified as an earth pony with the ponied name Bubba Sawbuck by Tobe Hoofer, Leatherface was redone by a Michael Rein with Leatherface this time having the name Thomas Hoovitt and being a pegasus. despite being in a family of eath ponies. Leatherface (Hoovitt) was made a pegsus in this version to point out that he had been adopted by Luda Mane Hoovitt the patriarch of the canibalistic Hoovit clan. Now if you must know when it comes to Leatherface I prefer Thomas Hewitt (human name of course) to Bubba Sawyer (again human name) although I guess you could debate about weather or not they are the same character. The doll I have is of Thomas Hewitt by the way which is why he is seen to have a crudely made fake limb made from a human arm bone and a hook . Now all this aside about the ponification of Human folklore I suppose I should discuss the most famous instance of a human character that came not from Human Folkore, but from the mind of a regular pony. Many of us we'll remember the days when we would open up a book by author Ponnie Zacherein and read about strange looking ponies. Mrs. Z. had a strange way of drawing her fellow ponies, but what is interesting is that her books were fantasy stories about these pony characters interacting with a human girl named Megan as well as her two siblings. Some ponies have suspected that there is more to these books then meets the eye, that at one point ponies did talk to humans like the character Megan, and that the strange design of the ponies was actually done to show how we ponies looked at an earlier point in our evolution. In other words some say that these tales take place in a time before the "Great Disappearance of Humanity" when humans somehow vanished without a trace. There has been many ponies who have speculated differently about the fate of humans, but I think that is a topic for another day. Right now I have to go fly off somewhere to do some shoppng down by Sweet Apple Acres.
