    The Apple family selling cider started when Equestria banned cider. Granny Smith was a cider runner. She could only transport a certain number of barrels before the police would catch up with her. By the time they caught her she had already sold them all. That is why they only make a certain number of barrels to this day.

    The plant is haunted. I'm sure the lime silo suction fan was off when I first went out, but it was on later. And there was no reason for anyone to turn it on. And that's not the first time I have seen it do that.

      We have flashing beacons and flickering lights so it would be difficult to notice that kind of thing. Sometimes lights turn off when I walk by. A lot of the lights here are broken. There are spirits of many dead pigeons. Would that be a factor?

      I imagine a pigeon doesn't have any reason to stay in this life for long, it probably wouldn't be a factor, but maybe. But I see your point. These are often, like, moving balls of light. Pretty hard to miss, but idk ⊙_⊙

      Any weird stuff happen there other than with the silo suction fan?

      I would have to think. We have equipment that fails all the time, but that is normal in industrial settings.

    I'm reading the Tales of Equestria adventure. There is a part where the PCs can walk or get a ride on a cart. The book says walking will take longer. But the cart is pulled by ponies. How can walking be slower than pulling a cart?

    I think I will have steam or electric vehicles in my game. Electricity exists. And what powers the train?

      maybe its because more than one pony pull the cart,(its double the horseponypower)
      yeah, the train is obviously steam powered and there is some decent technology from time to time, consider vynil's equipment

      But a cart is as slow as the slowest pony. It makes it easy to pull gear, but not faster than you walking.
