    When Discord was defeated 1000 years ago he did nothing. He didn't try to fight baco, he didn't try to attack the princesses. He just stood there. When Sombra was defeated 1000 years ago he brought spell on an ENTIRE empire. And yet Discord gets called best villain and badass and Sombra gets called worst villain and pathetic. Can someone explain this to me?

So what if Blueblood is a hybred Of a changeling and a Pony due to a past affair between a royal pony and a chaneling? It would explain why he wasn't at the wedding as the chanelings informed him about the invasion and he ran away.
