  1. /sigh

I'm not saying IM and SW don't count because she shared them.

I'm saying they don't count because she was rather flanderized in SW and pretty much just a bewitched force of nature in IM with the bulk of the conflict and lesson being on Spike.

Kindly deal with what I'm actually saying, and disagree with that

So, you're saying they don't count because you dislike them?

SW was pretty Rarity heavy and I thought it was entertaining. You're saying that I'm wrong for thinking that's a Rarity episode because you deemed her flanderized in it?

Furthermore, IM was Spike heavy, but you can't say she didn't play a leading role there. I think it boosts her count some, given she did have a major role. It was also stated to have been a Spike/Rarity episode to begin with. Never was solely a Spike episode nor was it solely a Rarity episode, and it was never meant to be.

  2. Most episodes are shared, in case you haven't noticed.

    Also, doesn't this:

Meanwhile AJ had 5 episodes I believe. Yea, they weren't always about her directly but still....

    Contradict this?

Rarity has really only had 1 episode. Yes, there have been three episodes where she stars (not counting Sweetie Toils for this) but neither Simple Ways nor Inspiration Manifestation actually focused on her as a character.

Expecting every episode to give her character a lot of growth is just silly. Not every AJ episode has given AJ growth. Furthermore, Rarity's portrayal this season has been met with critical acclaim, enough so to be able to leave her detractor's starving to death for ammunition to use against her (not that any of it was really ever valid to begin with, anyway, but still.)

She's gotten a good portion of shared roles (just as every other character has, I should add.) and has been portrayed excellently throughout. She's also been given a lot of lead roles this season, especially compared to last season, where we, as Rarity fans, drew the shortest straw and didn't get a single episode, not even a shared role.

We've been getting a good helping of great Rarity this season, so complaining about something good we've been given when previously we had nothing gets us nowhere as a fanbase.

  3. Rarity is the best pony because she's giving, strong willed, passionate, caring, creative, and a relatable character (to me, at least). Why the fandom decides to attempt to sling so much dung onto her beautiful white coat is just beyond me, but also pretty pathetic.

The reasons given for hating her usually aren't very good - nay - they're never good; it's usually stuff like "She's into fashion and I'm not" or "she screwed up one time so I'm just going to forget every good thing she's done ever" or my favorite one, "She's shallow and I don't like her because of her voice." >_>

Rarity fans are no longer passively taking the beating, fortunately. She's a wonderful pony, and she doesn't deserve the repulsive treatment she receives by some of the members of the fandom.

Also, Rarity was under a spell this whole episode. Can't really fault her for her behavior.

Damn, just having to see what the fandom has done to the Rarity fanbase by constantly hating on her in the past ignites a fire inside of me...

  4. "We'll just call him 'Champion RD92.'" Nice touch, pretty good review, but I'm willing to argue that the Diamond Dogs incompetence somewhat drags down the moral. Basically it accidentally says "She can handle herself, because her captors are dumb."

It's not enough of a flaw to put the episode on my bad side, because everything else was solid imo, but it just barely misses my "LOVED IT!" rating. Rarity is still best marshmallow pone, though.

Ech. Retelling the story is a bit boring, so I just screwed around with that and had fun with it. I made it a point to be serious in the "Gems" and "Dirt" sections :D

Anyway, I can totally see what you mean about the moral, but morals are pretty worthless to me, not going to lie, so I didn't really take it into consideration, just like I never do. I watch the show because I enjoy watching the show, not because I want to learn a life lesson :D

And Rarity is my marshmallow waifu

  5. Yeahh, I hate to be blunt, but I just can't say I believe this.

If you really are lying, keep in mind that there's people who have heart problems, even on this site, and it's horrible to deal with; it's life-handicapping, almost.

If you're using something as serious as this as leverage to just get friends...

You've made topics about wanting more friends and being lonely. Instead of going to the doctor, you asked people to talk to you on Skype. Everytime I've asked you about your heart problem, you just say "it's beating really really fast" -_-

Just be friendly to people, with or without this heart condition. As someone who has a really bad heart problem, talking about it all the time isn't what makes you friends.

  6. My depression and my depression got caused by a hospital becus they locked in there for 3 weeks and i had to sleep there i even got a trauma of it

You know, I suffer from dilated cardiomyopathy. It's a really serious thing. I don't get to play sports, I don't get to go jogging, my diet is strict as hell, I'm constantly missing school because it's giving me problems, and I'm expected to live until about 40, and that may be being generous. It's a pretty serious disorder. Serious enough for me to live every day knowing the chances are greatly in favor of me not living to grow old, not getting to see the children I may have graduate and have kids...I was dealt a pretty tough hand in life with it.

My emotions are connected to it. I get super stressed extremely easy, I can get angry at the drop of a pin, depending on what day it is. I try my best to keep it under control, but it just gets too hard at times.

In any case, I've been in and out of the hospital my whole life because of it. Hospitals aren't very fun, I will say. The nurses usually aren't as hot as they're made out to be in movies, either. But I have a life-altering heart condition, and, I'm sorry, but I gotta say, it didn't have that sort of effect on me. Every 3 months or so for 17 years I've been in and out of the hospital because of my condition.

Hospitals aren't bad enough for that sort of trauma, I'm sorry. The heart is one of the strongest muscles in the human body, and being depressed because you had an extended stay in the hospital isn't going to give you constant heart problems. Depression in general won't do that, because I've battled depression for a long time myself.

Maybe you're just not feeling good or something and you need to lay down, but I honestly don't think your heart is something to worry about at the moment ;) Trust me, I've dealt with this all of my life.

What I'd recommend is getting some Ginger Ale and Saltine crackers and munching on those. Those help settle your stomach :D

  7. Unfortunately, people live vicariously through being negative at times. That's what creates this annoying crap.

All you can really do is either ignore it when it's just childish hatred or, if it's someone trying to make a point, dismantle their argument piece by piece until it's nevermore; remaining patient is key to dealing with it.

It's annoying, trust me, I know.

  8. There is plenty to be said about certain members being disrespectful but the host should no be let off the hook for stooping to their level like he did.

If I may, YOU were essentially the ringleader in that whole ordeal, which was basically attacking another member because the outcome was less than favorable -_-

While the outcome was disappointing (even I felt so, and I defended it), there was no need to insult, berate, and slander the man like a few members did. Sure, they could've criticized the decision; but personal attacks and encouragement to avoid anything this man is taking things a bit too far.

So, he said he wasn't reading the comments? He's no dumb-dumb, I assure you. He probably was well aware about what was being said about him, and simply wished not to read it. It was blown EXTREMELY out of proportion because the timing was bad on his part.

  9. Royals over Pirates? Considering the huge streaks of losing seasons both of those teams had up until recently, I'd say that'd be a hell of an interesting World Series to watch :D

Also, Prince is going to THRIVE down here in Texas with our RF fence :D Of course, the real question is if he'll be able to hit for average or not; HRs shouldn't be an issue in the slightest. Great pickup on our part.

Also, I'd be amazing if Fernandez could carry on his hot streak from last year; his rookie year was absolutely phenomenal, and if he can keep that going, the whole league will be in for a huge problem :D It's good that the Marlins have a starter they can build a whole rotation around like Fernandez, lord knows they need it.
