Just a thought as Im working on a series of punk/alternative pony artwork. Admit it, everyone here went through the emo/goth phase at school. I certainly did big time. Which of the mane 6 do you think also went through the phase when they were teens? I personally think Rarity and Rainbow Dash did. Rarity probably tends to deny it happened though, but a few things in the series makes me think she did. The angry guitar solo, the instant adaptation to her punk look and how she is an expert at "wallowing/drowning in her emotions" - goth kids 101 right there. Dashie, because shes rough and probably liked the style and music more than the "darkness is my life" part. I dont think the others really tried it out at all. Twilight invested in studies all her life, Pinkie is too happy and hyper, AJ probably has no idea what it is and Fluttershy may have found it too scary, or she's more hippy.

just to note that the original concept designs of her - 80% of them featured eye patches. But it would be cool to think her scarred eye is damaged and that she went through seriously difficult training adapting to it. being the Storm King's commander, maybe she's snow blind?

you cant really put Open up your eyes on the list......because its TOO GOOD!!! Its the best one by far. So I dont want to include it. My personal faves are all 3 songs by the Dazzlings. They are hands down the best written songs. My god that slap bass when Welcome to the Show starts up! Kazumi's voice is just the BEST for evil songs.

Rainbow Dash, yeah because shes like me. The rough tomboy who hates girly stuff. Soarin, he's not like me, but he stands out as being a genuinely nice guy who kinda gets taken advantage of by other mares.

Hey guys, so my sis pointed something out and I noticed it from her original reveal anyway, but does anyone else notice Tempest's eyes are different to everypony else's? Could she be partially blind after the Ursa Minor attacked her? All other character pupils are black except for her. Even though she doenst really show any disability with sight, could it only be partial? SUper long shot, but artists have an attention for detail in animation and film too. If you watch the Ursa flashback again, he strikes her from (his/our) right to left instead of the other way. The scar couldve been left as his claw "leaves" her face instead of the initial contact (which is on the wrong side). Please tell me Im not the only one who saw this. It could just be a design choice and animation error/continuity/aesthetic and im looking too far into it here ^^;
