The story of the first Equestria Girls kept me entertained due to: 

1. This being a new situation for Twilight Sparkle.
2. I was curious about what would happen after the events of Magical Mystery Cure.

So, I was able to look passed the songs. I love "The Cafeteria Song" though.

While those are good points, they really weren't enough to salvage the first movie for me. That said, my favorite is Friendship Games due to Sunset Shimmer's arc coming to a satisfying close, the introduction of Sci-Twi and her transformation to Midnight Sparkle, as well as Cinch being a decently effective villain.

Will admit though; Cafeteria Song is a catchy one.

Friendship Games is my 3rd favorite after going in chronological order.

I like Friendship Games due to:
 

1. Sci-Twi's introduction. 
2. I like the story.
3. I think the songs are great.
4. Principal Cinch is "awful".

No doubt that S6 has it's highs, but I compared to other seasons it's highs weren't very high, while it's lows were some of the shows lowest points ever

Well, S6 had a promising start with the Crystaling - some nice world building, some new characters, and much amusement at Shiny. Luna's song as the Spirit of Hearthswarming Future is awesome, and there are some other really good moments in the season (hold on; if twi does her pinkie pie voice for Present, does that mean she was doing a Luna voice for Future? )

. So I wouldn't say its highs weren't high enough, but some of the lows were pretty bad. I think it may look worse when you consider S7 may have been one of the strongest seasons to date, so the contrast is high.

Take a look at other schools that changed their name from a Native caricature to something more appropriate. Many schools had nickname nowhere close to the disgusting nature that is "Redskin," and they still had the decency to change it.

@Zebroop: You honestly SHOULD care. There has been a lot of garbage in food that can generate unneeded cancer cells (i.e., sodium nitrate) or other diseases such as diabetes. In addition, organic food tastes more refreshing, and you don't feel guilty eating it.

I know this from experience.

Nopony lives forever. A short life eating food that tastes good and being chill is better than a long one of being preachy and eating tofu and boca burgers.

In my own opinion, that standard has far from diminished ever since Faust left the team. I will admit that there've been quite a few questionable aspects of the plot's direction, but nothing that's in danger of overall "ruining" the show...as the most vocal of naysayers popularly like to phrase it.

For the most part, it hasn't. The quality's still strong to hold, but season three was pretty weak in many regards. Season four's doing okay, but there's plenty of time left.

Next week, I hope Fullerton, McGowen, and McCarthy take the "sidekick" concept and parody it to death, as the summary indicates Spike being sick and tired of being reduced to that role.

Uh, Lena Hall has no Disney film to her credit.

I love "The Magic Inside", I've listened to it so many times. One of the best songs on the show. Even outside of the context of the show its a fantastic song

That's what bothers me a lot. Why would someone be a fan if all they ever do is complain and rewrite everything? Sure, the series had some rough patches but personally for me, it never stopped being good. End of discussion. 

I've seen some people (not on these forums but other websites) not only asking for season 9 to be remade but convinced that it will happen. Pretty much a repeat of what some people did with alicorn Twilight (asking for her to be made a unicorn again seasons later)...

I can somewhat agree with what you're saying, but at the end of the day, who's really to say which of the show's flaws are particularly *worth* dwelling on, and which should be forgiven? Because really, what this fandom considers "good" or "bad" has rarely been a constant, from what I've seen. I've witnessed people regard a good episode with the utmost bile, and I've witnessed others treat what I consider to be a pretty "meh" episode with extrem...

*e reverence. I'm definitely not opposed to the show improving, but I'd hardly call the fact that many fans are perfectly satisfied with what they've been given "apathy". If we didn't care, we wouldn't keep watching.

But I do feel that the very idea of struggling as a group leads to the unhumanizing of others. Neo-nazis think that the white race are struggling against a zionism threatening to wipe up their beautiful caucasian race. Men's right movement believes ( hilariously ) that we are struggling in a society where men are oppressed.

And you know what ? The African-Americans are indeed struggling against an unfair system. The Dallas shooter knew that , I allowed himself to justify killing polices, because their lives don't matter at all. After all, they are the oppresive white majority, aren't they ?

Yes, but you didn't link any of them. Of course there's articles on Google, but which ones are you referring to, what makes in unconstitutional (specicially, "100% unconstitutional", whatever that means), and what are your own defensive points on the matter?

I can see no longer actively participating in the fandom due to the fandom's behavior. I kinda assume that's what most people mean when they say 'leaving the fandom'. But if they mean 'I stop liking the subject because of it's fans', that's just weird.
