  1. I don't think mine has really changed much, it's always been low.
  2. Probably nothing because everything in the back of my closet is too small for me.
  3. I guess I'm feeling both nostalgic and melancholy after rummaging through some old stuff last night.
  4. This is shaping up to not be a good month for me at all.

I can only hope that my friends are doing well.

I hope things get better for you soon :kindness:

  5. I've made a few new friends, but I really see no difference between the way things were and how they are now in terms of friendship.
  6. It actually rained yesterday, which cooled things down considerably. Our high today is expected to get up around 90°F with fair skies.
  7. I had a Samsung YP-T9 MP3 player that traveled with me when I was on the road. It's given up the ghost recently as I can't get it to work properly anymore. It served me well over many years and many miles.
  8. Welcome back to the forums, and I hope you enjoy your time here.
  9. Have a great night everyone.

  10. So far, I got up, watched a friend's stream, and cleaned out a bunch of my ex's stuff.
  11. Tired and sore from cleaning and getting things to the trash.
  12. I'm thinking that if my ex had planned her exit better, she might have taken more of her stuff and not left so much behind for me to deal with. It's been almost a year and I've barely made a dent in getting rid of stuff.
  13. Greg Kihn Band - The Breakup Song
  14. I picked ten movies that I truly loved, and it's hard to rank them in any particular order, but I'll give it a try: The Dark Knight. Absolutely fantastic movie, I watch it whenever I'm able. Full Metal Jacket. I've read the book this was based on, and I think they did a pretty good job adapting it to the screen (even though I felt the book was better). Scent of a Woman. Al Pacino really shines in this film, I must watch it again. The Breakfast Club. All I can say is, I regret not seeing this when it first came out in theaters. Apollo 13. Historical drama done exceptionally well. I was a bit young to remember the actual event. Crimson Tide. A heck of a ride from start to finish. Down Periscope. It may be low humor, but I still love it. Chicken Run. Good, fun movie. The Replacements. Had some very funny moments. Young Frankenstein. Classic Mel Brooks movie, and a great spoof of the horror genre in general. There's a lot more that I like, but these are my big ten picks. The order can change depending on my mood, so take this ranking with a grain of salt.
  15. Hope your weekend is going well.

For those that are able to, enjoy the blood moon coming up this weekend.

  16. Why not? No one but you will know. Is it okay to bake and eat a whole pan of brownies by yourself?
  17. I feel relieved that this week is over and I don't have to work for a couple of days.
  18. Mixing up a batch of caramel brownies.
  19. A bit melancholy, but that's normal for me this month.
  20. They have their opinions about it, I have mine, many times I can see their point, and we can agree to disagree on certain things. No point getting upset about it.
