I could not have said it better myself! Seriously some of the things this fandom does, sending death threats and throwing temper tantrums over whenever the crew tries something different, it honestly makes me embarrassed to be a part of this fandom! Unfortunately we've gotten so many assholes join this fandom to the point where we've become one the absolute worst fandoms on the internet! When you've got people like JesuOtaku, Nash, etc. spewing a lot of venom at the fandom and making fun of us, I can understand where they're coming from! Personally I love Meghan McCarthy, I think the show has gotten better after she took over for Lauren Faust! I thought Equestria Girls a fun movie, I applaud them for trying something new things in the show and I think Season 4 is the show at its best. I don't really care what the analysers have to say. The show's still fun and the stories are still enjoyable, that's good enough for me.

I have to say while I do like Rainbow Dash I do have to admit that she did come off as really brash, obnoxious and overbearing during Faust's tenure, Season 2 really showed Rainbow Dash at her worst. However I do think she has mellowed out quite a bit over the course of Seasons 3 and 4. She still has her moments but she definately wasn't as bad as she used to be. In a way she's comparable to the Sixth Doctor.

I think they should just stick with Flash Animation. Live action wouldn't work for it and I don't think CGI Animation would suit the show.

I have to agree on that though I wouldn't have Twilight jump immediately into a relationship right after the movie. It would have been nice if they had included Pony Flash into the series as a whole and let him develop as a character and then let something happen. Aye, unfortunately it's so ludicrously easy that it's just downright embarrasing. There are a lot of people in this fandom flip their lids over the smallest things. I mean look, we've seen this fandom throw several shitstorms back in 2013 over Twilicorn, Equestria Girls, MLP Online and Fighting is Magic. We have brony analyzers that take themselves and too seriously and manage to suck the fun out of show by trying their hardest to dissect, butcher and bring down every single episode post season 2 in the hope of trying to be the best critic out there. This is a kid's cartoon not something artistic that should be compared to the likes of Citizen Kane! Oh and god forbid if you feel that Season 4 is better than 1 and 2 because the minute you say that you'll have fans gunning after you as if you killed their family. I'm sorry If you are going to death threats over a cartoon then you are not mentally healthy! I hate to say it but when we have people like Nash, JesuOtaku, Bennett the Sage and others ragging on the fandom I can understand where they are coming from! We take the show way too damn seriously. My apologies for the rant. I just got off Equestria Daily and after seeing the immaturity that's in the comments over there and finding this thread I couldn't help but think about all the negatives in this fanbase! I'm sorry but when you see people spouting insults over opinions, screaming "RUINED FOREVER!!11!one!!" or sending death threats I can't help but be embarrassed to be in the same fandom as these people!

I became a brony back in 2012, a lot my buddies were into the whole brony thing and I didn't know what MLP was all about, considering the previous gen I didn't think it would appeal to me. Then I decided to try for myself, see what it was like and after watching a few episodes I called my friends up and said "AW CRAP I'M A BRONY!!!"

You know what, I actually loved the movie myself. Yeah I'll agree that the FlashLight could have been handled better, I wish they had actually developed him but oh well. I actually like the character designs, I thought the animation was fantastic, the songs were good, I didn't think the story was bad, I didn't mind the High School setting and most important of all it was a damn fun movie to watch! Then again I am a person who also had fun watching these three movies so say what you will. Yeah , I'm one of those people who don't mind a bad story in a movie as long as it's fun.

It depends on who's being reformed. There are some who can be reformed like Lightning Dust, Gilda and Diamond Tiara as they are just jerks, Sunset Shimmer who's not really evil so much as a misguided, pompous, arrogant, greedy girl who just needed to be taught a lesson and Discord who also was not really evil just, well, chaotic! He just did whatever he thought was fun problem was it was affecting others negatively. Actually now that I think about it, that's still happening, he's just being less of an ass about it! However there are some who can't be reformed like Chrystalis who's a just a creature that needs to feed off the love of others to survive, it's in her nature and Sombra who's gone past the point of no return by enslaving an entire kingdom.

Ah, yes. I've watched a couple of episodes of G1 and I have to say it's not a bad show at all. It's just happens to be a bit dated is all but just because a show is a bit dated doesn't mean it's bad. I mean there are shows I liked back in the day like Spider-Man The Animated Series, Beast Wars and ReBoot that are by today's standards dated but not bad. I have to watch more of G1 sometime soon.

I'm actually looking forward to this. Yeah, the show is changing but that could be for the better, if the show keeps doing the same thing over and over again then it will get rather boring and overstay its welcome. Whether it'll be good or not right now it's too early to tell. I like how the show is taking risks and trying new things. It allows the show to evolve, new places to see, new challenges to face and more room for characters to develop. Let's give the concept a chance before we all start losing our minds. We've already been through enough shitstorms in 2013 and as it turns out everyone was been making a big deal out of nothing. Yes, the Alicorn Twilight episode could have been handled better but we got over it and just continued watching the show, It certainly didn't "ruin the show forever" like a lot of people said it would, hell, I even liked the episode. As for Equestria Girls, again we got over that pretty quickly, the uproar everyone threw died immediatly after the movie came out. Yeah there are people who don't like it but there are also plenty that do, I love the movie myself! All these shitstorms managed to accomplish was make a lot of people rather embarrassed to be apart of this fandom for a bit after seeing all the rude behavior, insults and death threats that transpired all over the internet. Chances are this is going to be the same thing, a big change that we'll all manage to get over in the end! I'm not worried about this in the end, I am confident that the writers know what they're doing. I'll admit that the "Rainbow Kingdom" sounds like a cheesy name but honestly guys this show already has a lot of them, we've got towns that are just puns of existing places, a town called Ponyville, named after their species and even a lot of the characters have cheesy names. I don't see the issue with the name! I'll start getting concerned if the quality of writing drops and so far it has not done that yet. To be honest, I think Season 4 is turning out to be the shows best season! Say what you will, you can insult me all you like (in which case I don't really give a shit because if you are going to insult someone over their opinion of a show then you really have nothing to say that's worth listening to) but I honestly think the show has gotten better since Lauren Faust left. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying she was a bad showrunner, the show started off great under her and it wouldn't have been what it is today without her, I'm just saying that she left it in good hands when she decided to leave. When Megan McCarthy took over for Faust, she, in my opinion, managed to improve on an already great show. So far the show hasn't been ruined, a lot of people still enjoy it even with the changes that have been made and it still has a very dedicated fanbase so just give these new changes a chance before judging them.

If there was an Equestria girls television series, I'd watch it! I quite enjoyed the movie, a television series would be great!

I'm looking forward to this. It's a bit too early to tell whether it will be another Spongebob or not. I'll start getting concerned when the show starts dipping in quality and so far it hasn't done that yet. Right now, I'd go as far as to say that Season 4 is turning out to be the show's best season.
