How The World Treats Bronies(Being Serious)
M14Brony replied to VladmireV.S.(Crank)'s topic in Sugarcube Corner
I agree that the victim was simply in the wrong place at the wrong time, and that he would have still been attacked if he did not happen to be singing the MLP: FiM theme song. It is unfortunate that our society is so rife with violence, but now everypony knows why I conceal and carry a loaded GLOCK 19 pistol just about everywhere I go (I have a permit for this, so it is perfectly legal up here in Minnesota). -
Is anypony else around here into shooting?
M14Brony replied to M14Brony's topic in General Discussion
I only had access to a 25 yard range today, but I handloaded a few .308 rounds, and I just wanted to see if they would function well in my M1A (proper feeding, no slamfires, etc.), so I went shooting today. Needless to say, the handloads worked flawlessly, so I must be doing something right. Unfortunately, most of the brass went over the firing line, so I could not retrieve it. I then used some Russian made steel cased .308 to plink around with after using the handloads (I got this ammo for a mere 30 cents a round some time ago, so I have have a decent stash of it, and I use it for basic plinking). I also rented a Coonan Classic. 357, and I was thoroughly impressed with it. It is a shame that I do not have a spare $1250.00 lying around, as I would buy one of those guns if I did (I am broke after recently buying an M1 Garand, a Vz.52 rifle, and some reloading/handloading apparatus). -
Congratulations, Derpy Whooves! I wish the both of you long and happy lives.

gaming Do you buy your games pre-owned or new?
M14Brony replied to Jibbs93's topic in Media Discussion
I do not play video games as often as I did when I was younger, but I buy both new and used games depending on the circumstances. For instance, I often buy PS3 games on the "Greatest Hits" list, given that they are cheap to begin with. However, I will also look around ebay for used games in good condition (some of these used games came in like-new condition for a good price). When it comes to paying the full $60.00 for a brand new game, I do not do this often, and I only pay this much for a game when I am eagerly anticipating the game (I recently bought a new copy of Skyrim, and this was the first time I paid $60.00 for a game in quite awhile. Admittedly, paying $60.00 more often for a game would not kill me financially speaking, but I prefer to spend my spare cash on firearms, ammunition, reloading/handloading components, and books. -
Eeyup. Hell, I got lucky yesterday, as I found a good deal of Easter candy still leftover at Target, and I picked up six boxes of Cadbury Creme Eggs for a mere $1.01 each.

I hate it when I step in a puddle and get water in my shoes, as I simply despise wet socks. The traffic lights at an intersection around where I live prove to be utterly vexatious, as I always arrive when this light is red, and it easily stays red for at least three minutes, even when there is nopony coming from the other road.

So, what sorts of candy has Easter candy has everypony been enjoying as of late? My favorite Easter candy happens to be Cadbury creme eggs and the small, chocolate Cadbury eggs with the crunchy shell.

That is a very good question. I guess there is a reason why a person I once knew always referred to Taco Bell as "Taco Hell." Unfortunately, I do not manage to visit my friends often (we have conflicting work schedules and the like), but I do have Latino friends that do know how to make such food. I don't recall ever encountering a taco truck. Then again, I have never really bothered looking for one either. I am not yet experienced with making such tacos, silly. I will keep this in mind. Oddly, I have never had clams before. Then again, I was raised in a family that does not like seafood, so I never got much exposure to such things.

I have dealt with inconvenient erections every now and then, but I would still rather deal with those erections than periods, pregnancy, and child birth. I have no intention of having children, but in the unlikely event of me falling in love with a girl that changes my mind regarding this, I promise that I will pamper her during her pregnancy, as those nine months cannot be easy for a woman (again, my part of reproduction would be purely blissful in nature and it would be finished in a matter of minutes).

I am 5'10.5"(approximately 1.79 meters) and around 191 pounds (approximately 86.8 kg). Some of my weight is due to gaining muscle from lifting weights, but I do have a small "beer gut" I am trying to nip in the bud.

I finally got around to buying this game for the PS3, and while I have only put a few hours into it thus far, I do believe that the leveling system is a major improvement over previous games, as it does not seem to have major skills and minor/miscellaneous skills, nor are there specialized classes. Instead, it seems that leveling up any skill will contribute to a character getting closer to leveling up, and this seems to provide a player with additional versatility, as in previous titles, one would have to focus on the major skills (and minor skills in Morrowind) in order to level up.

I can eat tacos from Taco Bell, but the food at that place is nothing special, so I have not bothered going to Taco Bell for years. On the other hoof, the tacos I bought from street vendors in Mexico City (I visited Mexico City in early 2009) were simply astounding, and none of the tacos over here in the USA can even be compared to such food (the tacos that many people are familiar with over here in the USA are as fake as a three dollar bill)! What I would not give to eat such genuine tacos again! I should probalby do some research and attempt to make tacos that are close to the authentic Mexican ones someday.

I have an older Ruger Mini-14 as well, and I find it to be a solid rifle. While the Ruger Mini-14 seems to have been inspired by the M14, the Mini-14 is not actually a downsized M14. For instance, the bolt on the Mini-14 lacks the roller mechanism on the M14's bolt (it is more similar to the bolt of the M1 Garand in this regard). Furthermore, the M14's gas system utilizes a gas piston that impinges on the operating rod, while the Mini-14 lacks a gas piston and its gas port simply uses the gases of combustion to drive back what the Mini-14 manual terms as a "slide." While this "slide" looks nothing like an operating rod in the M14, if anything, it is more similar to the operating rod in an M1 Garand (of course, it looks nothing like the operating rod in an M1 Garand either), given that this "slide", like the M1 Garand's operating rod, is simply driven back by the gases coming from the gas port; no gas piston is used in either the Mini-14 or the M1 Garand. No offense, but this comes off as rather hypocritical when you previously said this: -
BIGGEST trouble you have gotten in by your parents
M14Brony replied to ~Sugar Sprinkles~'s topic in General Discussion
That is pure, uncut child abuse and is consequently revolting. I hope they don't do that to you anymore, and if they do ever beat you again, report them to the authorities. Nopony should have to grow up and deal with such brutality. @JustinnDaJokaR It is good to know that you got away from that abusive heap of vomit. Hopefully things are going well between you and your real father. I believe the worst that happended regarding me was getting grounded for several weeks after getting in school suspension for one day due to pulling some pranks when I was in high school. -
I am an atheist.

I sleep on my side and I prefer to wear pajamas, although I will somtimes sleep in a T-shirt and underwear. I also have a couple of soft pillows (I believe they are medium in size). I have been eagerly anticipating adult pony pajamas for some time. I wish somepony would manufacture them already!

I have not yet purchased Skyrim, but I do plan on playing it eventually, given that I thoroughly enjoyed Morrowind and Oblivion. I have been vacillating on when to get the game (sometimes I think I should get it relatively soon, and other times I feel that I should wait for a longer period of time), but I will own it one day. I am sure that expansions will also be later released for this game, so such things should provide additional content when I have exhausted a good deal of the replay value of Skyrim.

I live in the US state of Minnesota. To be more specific, I reside in the small city of Chaska, which is a suburb of the Twin Cities.

I have most likely forgotten a good deal of what I learned, given my apathy toward the subject on the one hoof and the fact that I have not taken a computer related course for over six years on the other hoof. I am toying with the idea of returning to college, and if i do as such, I am thinking of working to become an electrician instead; I have absolutely no intention of ever returning to a computer related field. I will take one work-related course on electricty to see how I like it, and if I do like it, I will hopefully head back to school in the fall. I can also ask my grandfather about this, as he is a retired electrician. I will have to brush up on my math, as I have not used it much since I graduated from high school, and it was also my weakest subject. I will be sure to post about problems that anypony gives me for being a brony (assuming this happens). If such a thing happens, hopefully the post will prove to be interesting.

Fortunately, I have never been robbed or mugged. I grew up in a small city (population of 33,000) which was rather quiet, and until a few years ago, there was not much crime there. I then moved to a wealthly neighborhood (I lived in an apartment in this neighborhood; I am not wealthy) in St. Paul, Minnesota and I lived there for four years. Nothing happened to me while I was there, but I heard about some robberies that happened a few miles from where I lived. Given that I am an introvert that is often alone, I eventually deciced to get a concealed carry permit, and I typically carry a loaded Gen 4 GLOCK 19 pistol when I am out and about. Given that my roommate moved away late last summer and I had nopony else to trust as a roommate, I used the opportunity to move closer to work, as I have been working in a suburb (my old home in St. Paul was 20 miles from where I work). I moved to the suburb of Chaska in late August, and as far as I know, not much happens here in terms of criminal activity. Nevertheless, I am prepared and I continue to carry a concealed firearm on me when possible. Futhermore, I have always been prepared to defend myself from an intruder in my home (if necessary), and my Gen 3 GLOCK 17 pistol is outfitted with a 150 lumen tactical light for such a purpose.

I know that The Political Compass is not a perfect test, as I believe that complex political questions cannot be boiled down to a simple multiple choice test, but I do believe that this test can sometimes give a generic snapshot of where one stands when it comes to politics. Let us keep things civil, everpony. Here are my results:
