    Everything's far apart and separated by busy roads. Crossing the street is dangerous for pedestrians because you have drivers who don't know the rules of the road and try to run red lights.

    It seems like DM notifications are broken. Sometimes they work, other times they don't. It's supposed to send a pop-up notification "New DM from (name)" and it previews the message. That was how it worked before the upgrade. Now, it's easy to miss the notification.

    I had this happen before a couple times. I used to be good friends with someone, but as time went on, I felt they became more arrogant and ungrateful as time went on. Not surprisingly, I started to distance myself from them and eventually cut ties with them.

    While I will say the current generation has its ups and downs, I cannot say anything kindly about the 1982-1985 era of gaming. Atari and several gaming companies learned the hard way why quantity over quality never works. That is, all the gaming consoles and various game ports that were of varying quality. This and several other events culminated to the Great Video Game Crash of 1983. Nintendo did have several games on the Famicom released around the crash, but none really stuck out. It wasn't until September-October 1985 when things finally turned around for gaming as a whole.

    I feel like I'm mentally overwhelmed from planning something for a sports video game and finding where things should go. While it's easy to place teams at first, it gets more and more complicated in the future. Namely, moving the minor league teams around to accommodate the newer teams and creating the newer ones. Sports games are weird sometimes...yet I like them.

    Yesterday (Saturday) was honestly one of the best days I had. I got a lot of sleep and felt a lot better that day. The only issue I had was knee pain but that was because I slept wrong.

    I finally analyzed WWF/WWE King of the Ring on the Game Boy and holy shit, is it not only one of the worst wrestling games, besides WWF/WWE Wrestlemania on the NES and Simpsons Wrestling on PS1, it's also one of the worst video games I've ever played. Let's see: there's the choppy frame rate, every wrestler has the same moves, no finishers, poor graphics and animation, unfair AI, moves don't deal enough damage, and the wrestler themes don't even sound anything like it does.

    Shovelware is a sight to behold - you never know how bad the game truly is until you witness it yourself.

    I feel the past few years I've grown to dislike Star Wars. I feel once you exclude A New Hope, the Original Trilogy is the best one. There's too many flaws in that movie for me to enjoy, from poor pacing, filler plot points, subpar script and a couple of the characters can come off as unlikable. What made me sour on the franchise is how the Star Wars fanbase in general are extremely unpleasable. No matter what movie or show comes out, they criticize whatever to hell and back for petty reasons. The Star Wars video games, however, are mostly (with some exceptions - looking at you, Famicom A New Hope, GBA Attack of the Clones, to name a couple) some of the best licensed video games out there. TIE Fighter, Rogue Squadron, Knights of the Old Republic, and Shadows of the Empire are must-plays.

    https://lparchive.org/Final-Fantasy-II-(by-Mega64)/ - Holy cow, this translation of FF2 might be worse than the Spanish, French and German translations of FF7. Awkward grammar, missing punctuations, misspellings (Piretes?!) and so much more.

    Let's just say that Square did a much better choice by bringing FF4 to North America and called that Final Fantasy II, and left this travesty of a prototype behind.

      Oh yeah, I played this prototype way back in the day seven years ago. Major lulz. "But it's free!", or something to that effect, was in the NeoDemiforce translation too to my surprise. Maybe giving Firion a legitimate reason to trust Leila wasn't until the remake, pretty silly either way.

    Same here. I feel like no matter what I do, I cannot keep people interested in conversations anymore. Anyway, with that said, I'm thinking of what I should do with my growing video game backlog and what needs to be taken care of first.
