    I'm no expert by any stretch of the imagination when it comes to writing fiction, but being an English speaker I've used translate to try to send messages to my foreign friends in their native language, and it's about 75% accurate I'd say, except languages that use a different alphabet e.g. Arabic. If I was you, I'd try to avoid google translate and get a few native English speakers as pre-readers and run it by them. They will be much better than google and also be able to pick up on grammar errors, as well as what might be a technically correct sentence, but one that reads strangely. Hope this helps

    Just downloaded the latest Xbox update and finally there is a page dedicated to updating games etc! No more having to try to plan ahead by putting random games in to see if they need it!

    I'm a bit late to the party - but hi there, and welcome to the forums . Excellent choice on favourite subject btw, which area of science do you prefer the most? Hi, and also welcome. I'd personally suggest starting your own thread in the welcoming plaza, it will make it easier for us to get to know you and vice versa (my bad if you already have). Still, hope you have fun here too

    In my mind, Twilight would be something like murder mystery, or even sci-if - at least something with a level of intelligence to it. Rainbow would obviously be adventures (probably try to pull an A.K. Yearling and base them off herself and her own exploits...with loads of exaggeration thrown in XD). Fluttershy would be non-fiction, thinks like 'how to look after *insert pet here* and general resource books related to nature and keeping/looking after animals. AJ would be much the same as Fluttershy, but about farming (specifically farming apples) and general knowledge about apples. Rarity would be into the romance, or even period drama (along the lines of Pride and Prejudice). Finally Pinkie would be all about the comedy, whether it's novels or joke books. Funnily enough, I can also see her writing spy books (like James Bond) for some reason XD

    Welcome, I think you have the most unique 'how did you find this site' I've seen yet It must be a good feeling whenever you find a show that both you and your daughter can enjoy (this one even come with a surprise fandom XD). Anyways, I hope you enjoy your time here

    Pegasus - the freedom of the open sky (and playing with clouds looks fun ). But then Starlight used her telekinesis to fly, but I still think Pegasus as it (naturally) comes more...naturally to them XD

    It's one of the main reasons I haven't pre-ordered yet :s (though with the ease of trading online now, it shouldn't be a massive deal seeing as those with the other iteration will need whichever one you get to complete their pokedex - but I still want to catch my Aloha Vulpix myself XD) But of course it's just a hunch I have, could be completely wrong

    I'm loving the Aloha takes on some of the classics (that Ninetails!) though I'm getting the feeling that the Sandshrew will be in one version and the Vulpix in the other, and I really want that Ninetails!

    My sister was much the same...until repeated bugging from me and her friends made her download it, and now she's hooked XD. Though I know many people who look down on the game and it's players, but I just ignore it - just because they don't like it doesn't mean that I can't. I've named my Pidgeot after one of the more vocal opponents of the game, and make sure to update him whenever Pidgeot levels up etc

    It seems about the same for me as before the update - I'm much more annoyed that the power saver has been removed (from iOS at least), now this game really chews through my battery! Go team Zapdos!

    There is a gym just out of range of where I work, so each break (different people take breaks at different times), the gym changes team XD. Best moment so far, after work a load of us all congregated at the gym to try to claim it! My team (instinct) ultimately won, but I can almost guarantee that it will have been claimed by another by tomorrow XD

    I haven't been on one in years, but I do love them - only time I have ever bunked off work (not my current job mind, just some student job during my studies) it was to go to a theme park XD. Living in the UK have never been to any Six Flags, but have been to most of the Tussauds parks over here (Thorpe Park being my most visited). Favourite coasters: Colossus, Nemesis Inferno and Air (now apparently called Galactica), but new ones have opened since my last visits - might have to round up my friends soon and plan another trip or two!

    It's been an interesting week - started by touching noses with a Harris Hawk, finished by swimming in the sea with Jellyfish. Back to normality tomorrow :(

    That's awesome, I think that was part of the idea of this game (and ingress), to try to get people outside/exercising for fun, instead of seeing it as a chore. It looks like it is working

    This is so frustrating, I've been waiting for ages for this to come out, and it's soooo close (in the UK) - hopefully they will get those server issues sorted out soon so I can get hunting In the mean time I'll just have to stick to checking the App Store ever 5 minutes to see if it's on there yet XD

    I was revising (I.e. Procrastinating), and was browsing 'know your meme' (don't judge XD). This was just after s1 had finished and it was trending as number 1 on that site, and curiosity got the better of me. I think there was a link to the pilot episodes on YouTube on the KYM page about it, and seeing as how I was revising, I decided to watch it

    To be honest, I don't normally comment on art pieces (as I'm no artist, I rarely feel I can actually add anything to any discussions going on), but this picture is absolutely fantastic! I can't really comment on the line technique (as I mentioned before), but I'd definitely say that whatever you did with this picture worked
