    This needs to be moved to General Discussion. France are firm favourites given the depth of their squad, and I'd go with them winning it all by beating Germany in the final, with Belgium and Spain reaching the Semi-Finals.

    Last weeks episode review was cancelled due to unforeseen and mitigating circumstances. The good news is that this weeks, the review of The Parent Trap is up without a hitch! So here's the latest Season 8 Pones N Stuff episode raring to go!

    I've always said they can't just throw away nearly 10 years of lore and world building. I'd welcome this show taking a leaf from Korra or the newest series of Samurai Jack where it takes us into the future with new leads advancing what we already have to force new things to come to the forefront. Why spend all this time giving us younger characters if you never plan on allowing them to physically grow? We need to see what happens to the CMC's, the Student Six, the Schoolhouse Ponies, The Pie Twins and Flurry Heart and how their role has changed, how Equestria has been altered and what has happened to the characters we love and keep us guessing as it goes on (if a Mane Six VA doesn't want to come back for G5, ensure a story-reason is given for their absence, either ephemeral or permanent death). Hell, throw in some brand new characters to spice things up and really make it worth the time. The idea of changing the species of the Mane Six just to keep that merchandise flowing is pointless... especially if it rewrites continuity that's been nailed into the ground... what would be the point of creating all of this if you'd just chuck it away? I'm fine with the Mane Six being replaced... hell it's what's necessary for the world that has been created and episodes in the future, but only by characters within the G4 world that have potential to become something. Gen 5 HAS to be that to make some logical sense... not something brand new from the ground up that jumbles and confuses people.

    6/10 - Not a huge fan of the AutoTune in some of the vocals, but I'm surprised a lot of swagger and cool factor came out of a K-Pop song that also had a good melody and rhythm to it. It's not my thing, but it's pretty good for what it is. There's no YouTube video for this one, so a SoundCloud link will have to suffice:

    One of the new singles by Australian band Cog. It's a damn good 'un and I can't wait until the album drops to get my hands on this one!

    I try to stay off spicy, rich or fatty foods when I'm ill as it tends to upset my throat and stomach. Then again, it's what I eat most of the time, so it's problematic when I want to eat something and annoy myself having to eat something I may not be a fan of.

    The Death of Princess Diana. I didn't watch the news when I was younger, but damn did this storm through everything like a ton of bricks. I was on holiday in Ireland at the time and the overbearing coverage of it all was everywhere. The scenes and sounds of GMTV's ad break black screen tribute that happened every 15 - 30 mins on the programme still haunt me to this day. Made me realise what death was and how it was reported, and it's made me slightly fascinated with the media representation of it many years later.

    Having seen McPherson live a few times with his main band and his solo act, I can vouch for that... blows your socks off with how intense and powerful his voice is. He's also got sublime range too, he can do death metal growls and extreme screams as well as push his head voice to the limit. As for the above song, 3.5/10... instrumentally it's pretty solid melodically but it's the vocals that let it down. Harsh vocals can be good, and add to a song's atmosphere but the type of indecipherable guttural black/death/extreme metal ones really don't work with me. As a result, it lacks the power it needs to get off the ground and sounds quite flat despite itself.

    10/10 Wasn't expecting thrash from the symphonic guitar elements at the start. Turned out to be utterly fantastic! And now for something completely different:
