The rainbow dash "pillow" that was my first. Now it looks like it has been through a war. they guy modeling this looks so happy.

I feel that this was one of the movies made so that parents can have something to quiet their kids for a short time. So they did not have to focus on the quality. Though I have to admit after seeing the first trailer for that movie I laughed a couple of time and was curious. But after hearing the word of mouth, i want to avoid that like a hand grenade dipped in the plague

Here`s is what I said before and I will say it again, people who say that the MLP movie will flop just need to look at the 63 million dollars that the literal crap-fest Emoji movie brought in. I would be surprised if the MLP movie does not bring in at least that much during its run in the theaters, I haven't listed to no mane critics ever since I read that a reviewer though the Lion King was Fascist, Racist, and a treat to Democracy back when that first came out.

That feels like me, I live in a city where the only thing that holds it together is the college basketball team, and when it fails it seems that the whole city wants to commit suicide. I would like to meet just a few others around here so I dont have to travel hours away, I wish I could be like that, I would feel like I am being judged for that around here. When I see someone else with any type of pony stuff , I would like to say hello and introduce myself, but that is just not me. So alone I sit here with my cats.

Well cant this be said about any Mavel, Star Wars, or pretty much anything else that Disney releases. That they are just some sort of cash crab to sell toys to children. I mean one of the best new franchises lately was the Lego movie, which was an idea literally based off toys, And it had one of the best plots and ideas for a children's movie. When I first hear that they were doing that I was like WHaaaa?, but then I actually watched the movie and it was one of the best movies I had seen for kids in years, And please tell me one person out there who actually thought that the Emojii Move was going to be in any way good like Wreck it Ralph or going even further back Who Framed Rodger Rabbit in the sense of trying to mash up different ideas into a cohesive plot. I mean when even Patrick Stuart cant save the movie, you know there is an issue with the odea.

Waited for over a year to go to it, cant believe it is over and already planning to go next year again. Bought way too much stuff, now I have to look for space to put it all up.

I have to add my two bits to this cobversation, I as having this same discussion with my non brony freind a while ago, and why I dont think it will break records and get to the leves of any Disney animiated movie at the box office, I still think it will do good because at that time there are no other family movies scheduled to come out. (really you think patrents will take thsir kids to see Blade runneer?) I would put this in the same category as the Lego movie, at first I thought it was going to bomb just because of its premise, nut I wached it and found that it was a great movie. Now look at its spin-off with batman, that was the only family movie against adult movies and it was at the top for multiple weeks. If the pony movie could do just as good as that then I would think it could be considered a success. (if the emojii movie makes any kind of money, then we know that this will be ok) As to the quality, I am cautiously optimistic about that. I was in the same situation right before the Deadpool movie came out. I was nervous that it was going to be worth the wait or a steaming pile. But either way we would have one and I was going to go and see it. So I plan to go and see the movie regardless of what anyone else says.

Honestly I think that as long as the money is coming in from what ever source, there will still bee a new series of the show. I think that there were pans for a 8th season just because of the movie, and if the movie tanks in the box office, then season 8 WILL most likely be the last of this generation.

This is one of the things I am concerned about with any show. I would rather have a show end on a high note then slowly watch it circle the drain while it goes down in quality. (IE. Simpsons.). Personally in my opinion a good run for a show woul be about 7-9 seasons. Lets just hope the writers can still bring quality stories to the table.

My point was that what type of FAMILY movies are coming out around the same time frame. That is where it could do well.If there are not many choices for that market. But while I dont really seeing it do the box office of a Marvel or Star wars film, I think it should hold its own.. Then again who really knows, just go and enjoy the movie, and be grateful that we have that.

I think the success of this depends on two things. First of, how it fares depends on the competition, not so much id there is a Marvel or Start wars caliber movie, but what the competition id for family movies at that time. there have been times when a family movie was able to hold its own with blockbusters because it was the only option for a family move, and because of that word of mouth spread and more people wanted to see the film. Second is the audience, are the adult fans going to go see it more than once. I can see people seeing it once with their family than a second time with other fans. That would probably be what happens. Also don`t forget the international gross of a movie like this. Remember that last year Deadpool , a movie based on a character that was little known outside of his fans, and yet it was one of the biggest movies of last year. Partly because it came out a time where there was little competition in that marked, and word of mouth caused more people to want to see it.

whenever I hear the "Bullies are People" song from Drawn Together, now I can think is Twilight singing that. Its not only with MLP voice actors. I have always noticed when certain VAs are in others projects. If you haven't seen it there is a good documentary about voice actors called "I Know that Voice".

I see them trying to go for a G rating, but with the way the MPAA overreacts with things today in their ratings. (See the nostalgia critics video for good examples.) I could see this getting the PG. Either way I think they will be happy because I think it will still make the money. Ether way I am seeing it.

I could have sworn that there was a sort of reference at one point where a cart (though it might have been somewhere in all the fan works I seen) is knocked over and while you don`t hear someone scream that, that is what was going through my mind. But to answer your original question, that would be hilarious. I mean heck we got a Back to the Future and A-Team reference, so anything is possible. Side note, has the WIlhelm scream been used yet?
