The answer is no from the looks of it. I recently went to TrotCon Snow Day online and the evening Pony Fest concert that was held just this weekend, and there were many many people in the Pony Town server. I read a tweet from one of the musicians that stated one of the streams crashed because of so many people tuning in. Plus this site is still chugging along as well. So no, I highly doubt this fandom is going away anytime soon.

I might have said this somewhere else in the forum, but the reason why Friendship is Magic got so popular is because it was a show with great writing and characters that really was able to connect with audiences of all ages, a show that managed to successfully master broadcast television and streaming (which was a growing medium at the time it first debuted; I remember reading through the comments of the EQD article for the Season 2 finale episode from many years ago, and one of these comments stated the show was getting popular through Netflix), a show that brought together talented voice actors and animators, a show that was likely the first cartoon series that garnered mainstream success through the power of the internet, likely unheard of for a animated show back then, and it was a series that wasn't made by any of the big three cartoon channels (Cartoon Network, Disney and Nickelodeon--in other words uniqueness). Also, the social and economic impact of the Great Recession played a major factor as well brony-wise. It was not too long ago that there were people who were literally a part of the fandom as a full time job through in running a convention or helping run EQD for example. That pretty much sums why FiM is where it is today as one the best cartoon series of all time. Also said this before too; we are possibly never gonna see a phenomenon like this again in our lifetime.

Gabby. She is very underrated as a character. Gabby would make a great addition to the CMC. She would have been up to Apple Bloom and Scootaloo's level in terms of popularity.

I'd say it's legendary.

MLP Issue 91 just a week ago. Amazing to see the MLP comics series inching closer to it's 100th issue.

I picked the Asian languages for the dragons because in the Friends Forever comic, Princess Luna and Spike go to Fillydelphia and they head into Dragon Town, and the entrance to the neighborhood has a Chinese gate, plus dragons are more welcomed as positive spirits in the East in terms of mythology and culture, where in the West/Europe they were perceived as evil. As for the changelings, I picked American English as in the comic, Fiendship is Magic, Queen Chrysalis tells Twilight Sparkle her the backstory of how she came into existence, and there was a few panels that show Star Swirl the Bearded unknowingly creating her and the changelings. Also, in the main series’ later seasons, the changelings are in the post-Chrysalis phase and are trying to find their place in the world culturally as a whole (i.e. the episode that introduced Pharynx and Thorax was showing Glimmer around about what he was doing with the tribe since Chrysalis’ second defeat). The ponies have a lot of rich history in Equestria. I was more focused on the heavily populated parts of the country, which is why I chose English for the ponies. It’s possible of there being ponies who do speak multiple languages, especially of the versions of many of the world’s most important ancient societies the series mentioned.

I was recently thinking about the preferred languages of each creature in the show based on their mythology. Here's what I came up with: Ponies (all three, unicorn, earth and pegasi): American, Canadian and British English and Australian English as well (especially for a few of the pegasi characters in the show, namely Scootaloo's father and one of the members of the Washouts). Griffons: Arabic, Hebrew, Turkish, Greek, Cyrillic script, Farsi Dragons: Multiple languages, especially that of East Asia (Mandarin and Cantonese, Korean/Hangul, Japanese Kirin: All scripts of the Chinese language, Korean/Hangul and all scripts of the Japanese language Hippogriff: Italian, French, German, and British English The Changelings: mainly American English I think that Equestria's main language would be English/Ponish, with secondary languages being French, Spanish, German, Portugese, Cyrillic scrpit, Arabic, Chinese, Korean and Japanese What do you guys think?

Nightmare Trixie would be insanely powerful. Maybe even more crazy than Nightmare Moon or even Daybreaker. It would have to take all of the Mane Six to defeat Nightmare Trixie, and even then she can always find ways to gain strength and control over these powers.

Even now, 7 years later, those Facebook comments still disgust me. My God, the ableism... Good thing I don’t go on FB as much anymore even though I joined 5 years ago. Toxic site that has screwed up everything and why our world is the way it is today.

I like it. I never expected Gabby to hang out Spike (I imagine she would be more with the CMC), but it was a relief to see the three of them reach an equal agreement. It was also cool to see Spike and Gabby having alot in common.
