    I would love to be able buy one of these cameras for planetary imaging. Sucks they cost as much as a new car, even used ones if any can be found. :dry:

      I looked at their website and they don't even show the prices, which is quite telling... :adorkable: Quite incredible that such a small camera costs so much... :o

      @Tacolantern, there's a couple used ones on ebay. Take your blood pressure meds tho, before looking at the prices! :sealed:

      I know why they're expensive. It's the sensor material (InGaAs) and low demand. Consumer cameras are silicon based. Silicon is way cheaper but it's transparency beyond Near IR makes it useless for shortwave and thermal IR.

    I was in college when MLP:FiM first aired. I was aware of its existence but brushed it off as a girly show. Fast forward to late 2017 when I watched the first 2 episodes: "Huh, that was quite fun to watch". Fan made content brought me to the show.

    Near Infrared. The world around us appears dreamy and surreal in that light. I wish the eyes were sensitive to it. There's so much to see beyond red.

      I wish there were fan made animations of Coco. I haven't found much yet.

      Yeah, a lot of characters don't seem to get that many fan animations... But the good thing is that in this fandom, there are a lot of fan drawings for pretty much every character, at least! :yay:

    Not too many since I control the tv. Muhahahaaa! Joking aside, I can't stand a lot of the CGI cartoons and "reality" tv shows.

    I plan to give G5 a chance. I'm not terribly picky (except when it comes to CGI ) I actually wouldn't mind if the show was for a bit more mature audience. I think that would make it more interesting. As far as designs go, I like the ones shown here. I remember seeing a page with several different art styles and there were some that looked terrible.

    Watched another episode of Death Note. Anime is one of those things that's never caught my interest, but I'm starting to like this one.

      I've only watched a couple of "anime style" shows such as SonicX and Pokemon. lol

      I don't know why I didn't give anime a chance, tho. Another thing that's out of character for me. :ooh:

      Death Note is actually a gateway for many ppl to get into anime
      as i often say to people, anime isn't a genre, it's a media, and has many different things in it, you just have to find the right one for you

    I absolutely love potatoes and carrots, especially when cooked with a roast! A few other favorites are all sorts of peas, beans and corn. I'm not a fan of green leafy vegetables, tho.

    All of my computers currently have Windows 10. I don't particularly like it. XP and 7 were my favorite. I'm looking into Linux for my astronomy laptop. Windows 10 and camera drivers don't seem to like each other sometimes. Same for autoguiding software.

    For some reason, anime never really caught my interest. I've seen a couple anime style shows in the past, such as SonicX (lol), Pokemon, and a few DBZ episodes. I watched the 1st episode of Death Note late last night. I have to say: I think I like it.

      @Tacodidra, I actually played a CD (Aerosmith) in my car for the first time in probably several years. lol.

      Normally I just play music from my phone.
