    I live in the deep south, where one can nearly drown in the humidity during the summer. My house has a central air conditioner. I wouldn't mind a liquid nitrogen upgrade.

    I would say most of the CGI variety (exceptions of course). I just don't care for the animation style.

    I brought my telescope inside because some clouds moved in while looking at the Moon.

    Well, crap. Some thin clouds moved in while imaging the Moon. I did manage to get one decent crater image, so it's better than nothing. I really need that radio telescope!

      @Tacodidra, thanks! It's definitely not my best one. The atmosphere was a bit unsteady, which forced me to image in the Near IR spectrum. NIR isn't affected as much by turbulence, but you know the saying: "There's no such thing as a free lunch". 

      There's a resolution penalty with longer wavelengths of light.

    Waiting on my telescope to cool down. I can't do long exposure astrophotography with the Moon out, so I'll look at some craters instead.

    Sure, pictures look nice, but seeing a galaxy or planet in the eyepiece is an awesome experience you would be missing out. There are decent telescopes out there that can be bought for a low price.

    If he does. "borrow" it. lol I love reflectors. No inherent chromatic aberration and much cheaper than an apochromatic refractor. Might see if you can borrow a decent telescope from someone to see if it's something you would be interested in. Who knows, you might get hooked.

    I love cold weather. Outdoor activities become fun again since I won't drown in the humidity. Also, the night time sky is much more transparent in the winter, and I don't have to worry about my optics fogging up.

    I have a strong feeling that would violate some international treaties. Anyway, the idea of lighting up the Earth at night from space... just no! That would be light pollution hell and the end of ground based astronomy, at least in the visible spectrum.

    I definitely see Halloween decorations a lot. As far as trick or treating goes, not here. I live in a rural area and almost all of my neighbors are in their 60s, 70s and 80s. lol

    I like to curl dumbbells at least 4 times a week. I just recently moved up from 25 to 35lb dumbbells. I have to be reasonably strong for my work and some of my hobbies. With the weather cooling down, I plan to ride my bike a little bit every other morning before I go to work.

    I use a fork to put it on a biscuit, pour syrup on top, and then eat it. Yum!

    Does anypony here own a telescope? If so, what kind and how big? I own several telescopes. Each one has it's own purpose. 90mm Achromat refractor (astrophotography telescope) Celestron C90 - 90mm diameter (My travel telescope) Celestron C8 - 8 inch diameter (planetary imaging telescope) Skywatcher 16 - 16 inch diameter (High resolution planetary imaging)

    I stay away from arguments that don't involve me, especially if it's between strangers. I have intervened in a couple of arguments between family members, though, but it was needed in those particular cases.
