  1. My favorite fanfiction is .out.of.character. which is the most grotesque story I've ever read. As an episode, It'd be banned right after airing and be forever known as a lost episode to be written about about in many terrible creepypastas.
  2. Most of my favorite stories are rom-coms, so Romance and Comedy are my favorite. Although I do like a good drama too.
  3. I'd say lighting was the biggest improvement. That and generally smoother movement because when you look at early season 1, the animation looks much stiffer
  4. I really enjoyed this episode. This episode actually inspired me to watch The Golden Girls and now that I understand the references, this episode is even better. The comedy is pretty strong in this episode. The best part was Apple Sauce flirting with the staff. I don't think Applejack's instructions were too unreasonable, though the "not letting the grannies out of your sight" rule was a bit unfair. I'd say the biggest issue is that at the end, Rainbow becomes a part of the Golden Horseshoe Gals while all we saw was her messing things up. The only thing we saw them do together was go on the roller coaster. This ending would have felt more earned if there was a montage of Rainbow and the grannies having fun together aside from just the roller coaster. Score: 9/10
  5. 1. Season 2: This season has many of my favorite episodes like "Lesson Zero", "Hurricane Fluttershy", "Sisterhooves Social", and "Ponyville Confidential". There are only 4 episodes that I don't like. Everything that worked about season 1 was pushed up to 11 with better jokes, stories, and characters. 2. Season 3: Yeah, I find season 3 to be underrated. Even my least favorite episode here, "Spike at Your Service" still had a few good jokes. The only other things I didn't like about the season were Discord's reformation and the moral in "One Bad Apple". Everything else was fantastic, especially "The Crystal Empire" and "Magical Mystery Cure". 3. Season 6: Looking back I realize that there were a lot of really standout episodes like "Gauntlet of Fire" and "The Saddle Row Review". The reason this season isn't higher is because many of the episodes don't have the same punch that a lot of seasons 2 and 3 episodes have. There are too many episodes like "Applejack's Day Off" and not enough like "No Second Prances". Additionally, while I thought Starlight's arc was done well enough, she would have benefitted from more episodes about her or at least more appearances as a side character. 4. Season 4: This season is interchangeable with season 6 in terms of quality, but this was a much less consistent season. The reason season 6 is better it didn't hit the same lows as this season did with "Rainbow Falls" which was a complete mess from start to finish. Although along with "Rainbow Falls", the season also had "It Ain't Easy Being Breezies", "Pinkie Pride", and "Inspiration Manifestation". 5. Season 1: This season does not hold up well looking back. Episodes were much simpler and Twilight's presence held back episodes like "Green Isn't Your Color" from achieving greatness. Even so, the season holds a purity and charm that no other season has and episodes like "Party of One" and "The Best Night Ever" still hold up as some of the best episodes of the show. 6. Season 5: There were a lot of terrible episodes in this season like "Do Princesses Dream of Magic Sheep", "Crusaders of the Lost Mark" and "The Mane Attraction". This season tried to take itself more seriously than other seasons and it rarely worked with more "Tanks for the Memories" than "Brotherhooves Social". One the other side though, there were fantastic episodes like "The Cutie Map" and "Make New Friends But Keep Discord" to balance it out to a meh season. 7. Season 7: This is the only season I dislike. The worst episodes were some of the worst of the series and the best episodes didn't compare to the best of other seasons. This season felt like the writers ran out of ideas as this was the least charming and least entertaining batch of episodes of the entire series.
  6. Season 7 is by far the worst season. So many episodes were either annoying ("Secrets and Pies"), boring ("Uncommon Bond"), or both ("Parental Glidance"). The best episode, "A Health of Information", isn't even close to the quality of the best episodes of every other season. Thankfully, season 8 is a lot better so far.
  7. Seasons 7 and 5 are my least favorite seasons. While season 5 did have great successes like "Brotherhooves Social" and "The Cutie Map", it also flopped hard with episodes like "Crusaders of the Lost Mark" and "Do Princesses Dream of Magic Sheep". Season 7 on the other hand has my least favorite episode in "Parental Glidance" and no episodes that really knock it out of the park. I really don't like Alicorn Twilight. She and Unicorn Twilight feel like completely different characters. It felt like Twilight lost almost all of the flaws she used to have as a Unicorn Starlight is the most interesting character on the show now and she had a much better reformation than Sunset. While Sunset went through development offscreen, we saw Starlight's entire process.
  8. This episode suffers the most from the "Twilight being shoved into episodes where she's not needed" problem season 1 had. All she does is complicate the story for no reason. Instead of getting invested in Fluttershy and Rarity's surprisingly engaging jealousy story, I'm left wondering why Twilight doesn't just tell Fluttershy or Rarity the truth. It's especially sad because the episode is really good aside from Twilight, with a lot of really good jokes. Score: -4/10
  9. Equestria Girls: -8/10 - I go by JelloApocalypse's scale so a negative number means ironic enjoyment. This is a bad movie with a mess of a plot, but it's still very entertaining. It has the most charm of any of the EQG movies and by far the best jokes. The entire movie, I'm either laughing at the jokes or the terrible story. Rainbow Rocks: 4/10 - While a few jokes work and the songs are the best of all the movies, the entire thing was very dull. Sunset went from generic bully to generic hero with all of her character development happening offscreen between movies. While certain scenes ("Awesome as I Want to Be") are up there with the best of the movies, as a whole, this movie was boring. Legend of Everfree: 3/10- The only thing this movie has going for it is Gloriosa being a decent antagonist. Everything is else is even more boring than "Rainbow Rocks". Unlike the other movies, which all have moments that really stand out, I can't think of anything that stood out here. It feels the most cynically only doing the bare minimum. Friendship Games: 2/10- Wow. What a mess. Everything about this movie feels underdeveloped and not thought out. The explanations for the "pony up" power are really stupid and the comedy is almost nonexistent. The only thing I liked in the movie was the "Unleash the Magic" scene. For the rest of the movie, I felt either bored or frustrated.
  10. I didn't like Sunset until "Forgotten Friendship" because before then, she was really boring. In EQG1, she was a generic bully, and in the other movies, she felt perfect. Whenever she got mad in "Rainbow Rocks" and "Friendship Games", the movies made sure we still sympathized with her. In "Forgotten Friendship", her personality became a lot stronger bringing back her anger and ego from the first movie.
  11. The biggest problem with this episode is the broken metaphor. It tries to act like Tank hibernating is like dying, but those are completely different things. Rainbow Dash just seems so selfish. The episode feels so useless because Tank appears again only 8 episodes later. Score: 2/10
  12. This is my biggest guilty pleasure of the series. I loved how when Yona was drowning, Applejack and Rainbow Dash just watched while doing nothing! They were made into such idiots that I had to laugh. Score: -9/10
