Okay, so I have two things to address, both involving MLP:FiM S9.
First off, I've already seen MANY spoilers for episode 200, as I should. And strangely enough a lot of the spoilers involve Spike?
Also, since this is the last season of MLP and I want to give myself the best viewing experience possible, I've decided to wait until all the episodes are on Netflix (including Spring Breakdown) and binge watch them old fashioned style.
Will this be excruciatingly difficult to dodge spoilers like bullets AND avoid the anticipation of the new episodes? Yes. But this is the last season of MLP, and I'm hoping to make it memorable.

What was your best grade/year of school?

5th grade. My ELA teacher was awesome, my math teacher was horrible but that meant everyone was goofing off so it was fun, I got to leave from school a week early, and there were lots of field trips. -
Makes sense. Judging by EqD's meeting map (which I know is not a reputable source, just the only one I could find), it looks like Colorado and Wyoming are the only ones without known brony groups, although don't quote me on that. -
First off, most importantly I believe since we're using an online website, social conformity and stress because of online identity is a real issue. I know this is obviously not the overarching reason why these people are upset, so I propose a different resolution. People like venting online (myself included, sometimes). So, it's very possible that not as many people are "sad" as you think, but just in need to share their feelings or in a moment of temporary crisis. These people will be the ones that catch the attention of most people, therefore allowing you to believe a large portion of MLP Forums users are sad.

My opinion of violence (in entertainment) is fairly mixed. I LOVE fight scenes and how artists are able to weave adrenaline and impact into their stories. However... there is a limit I can take. First off, I don't like animals or little children being vividly and violently abused or hurt. It just leaves me with this feeling in my stomach... I don't know if that makes sense. Secondly, although I'm fine with gore WHEN NECESSARY, there's also a limit on that. I get that that is the main point of quite a few entertainments is to be gory, but those aren't really for me. There's a certain amount I can handle until I'm queasy at the tiniest amount of blood. Then again, I guess it all depends on how the violence is portrayed, how the artist depicts blood, and multiple other factors that make this a complicated question for me.

When I did debate, the first year topic was immigration. It's funny now because everyone used to think I'd make a perfect lawyer except my mom... who was a lawyer. -

This is going to sound bad, but... racism. I get that it's a hot issue that should be stopped, and I'm glad that our world is getting more and more diverse, but since I have a mom and a close friend who talk about it like broken records... it gets REALLY annoying. (No offense to them both, just trying to make a point). I mean, not EVERYTHING has to be connected to race! That being said, I do think some discussions on racism are important, just not the redundant, pointless ones.

@Will Guide To benefit Spike, I mean.

Spike started out (to me) as your typically kiddish, "dumb" boy sidekick. Now, by "dumb" I don't necessarily mean he was played out to be dumb, just that he was immature and playfully inoffensive. I feel like I really started to like Spike after Season 4, which sounds weird, since my personal least favorite episode of his, "Spike at Your Service" was in that season. Still, after Equestria Games, I finally viewed Spike on par with my least favorite of the Mane 6 (Fluttershy). It wasn't until the previous season that I believed Spike was finally fully understood and developed by the staff. Molt Down was a great episode that was just perfect for Spike. The real cherry on the already delicious parfait was "The Best Gift Ever!". Spike is finally treated as a part of the team, and even though his arc for getting Rarity a present wasn't nearly as compelling as any of the other Mane 6's, I was still pleased with the conclusion and how Spike was finally being treated as how he should have been since Season 6. What do I hope to be the ending to Spike as a whole of a character in Season 9? Well, for starters, I would appreciate the Sparity arc to be complete. I mean, I get the sense that he's kind of over Rarity, but since it's abundantly obvious that Rarity has no interest in a relationship with Spike and I'd like to see an episode dedicated to that. That's really all, I guess. Here's hoping for a great Spike conclusion and S9 in general!

Oh yes. The princesses. Truth be told, I love all the princesses except Mary Sue and Babycorn. (Which is arguably 40% of the princesses, but still). Between Luna and Celly, I honestly don't know who to prefer. They're both such complex characters and I thoroughly enjoy whenever an episode is dedicated to either of them. I especially love Twilight's dynamic with them, too. If I were to come to a definitive conclusion, it would be this: If the comics are canon (which I still believe they are), then I think Celly is best princess. Despite some humorous FF comics, my impression on Luna doesn't really change too much with the comics. Celly, on the other hand, I feel was given much more depth considering there was practically an entire arc dedicated to her (Reflections). If the comics aren't canon, I'd say Luna. Just because the show seems to handle her character a bit more seriously than Celly's. -

In my opinion, three things have to happen before I'll acknowledge someone as a person I actually love: 1.) The love is mutual. One sided relationships are never healthy. 2.) I actually love them, their not just a "crush". There's an important distinction between someone you love and a crush. 3.) We talk/hang out regularly. I'm not just going to go up to someone I just met and say "I love you".
I wouldn't dare try something like that myself, I need to watch them all within a few hours, as I always tend to run into spoilers... 
I don't have any cats myself (due to my allergies), but they're so cute, it's no wonder you like them so much!

A must watch, for sure – episodes like this remind me why I love this show so much!
