  1. Do It All The Time - I Don't Know How But They Found Me
  2. I'm a musical instrument technician who works with some of the strangest people on planet earth, but they're not too bad. Outside of my job I am a saxophone connoisseur (I have some rather strong opinions in this matter), I write fanfics a bunch, and I love motorcycles and can't wait to get my own. And I also play video games (because who doesn't?), but not as much as I used to. None of my friends really play much anymore, and single player gets kind of boring when you don't have the spare money to buy a new game every few weeks.
  3. I'm one of the lucky few to be blessed with 20/20 vision in both eyes However, my sister and both my parents are farsighted (my dad is especially bad), so that doesn't exactly bode well for me later in life.
  4. Yeah, that was disappointing. I wish Rainbow's last episode as the main character was actually a good one. She was way too out of character for a good 90% of the episode. 5/10.
  5. I love that game. I just bought it about a month ago, along with a couple of expansions. Of course. If I had a SO that lived far away (or one at all, really), I'd love to move in with them. You can't send hugs or cuddle over the internet, and those are some of the best parts of a relationship. Same?
  6. So I was originally planning on going to Ponyville CiderFest in 2020, but a change in financial plans came up and now I think I can make it to Everfree Northwest 2020 instead! I should even have enough money to make a new, proper fursuit if I'm careful with my money. I learned a bunch about fursuit making when I cobbled Booker together last month, so I think I can do a much better job this time. The downside of going to EFNW is I'll have to wait an extra six months or so to move out of my parents' place, but that's worth it to me.

I'm thinking of making a punk Rarity suit. I wanted to do a regular Rarity suit, but I don't really feel like dealing with that complicated mane and tail just yet. Maybe some day.

Also fans. I was dying wearing Booker at BronyCon, so I need to put a couple of those in.

Not looking forward to that ten hour plane ride next summer, though...

Good luck with your new suit my friend! :kindness:

  7. Here's my beautiful (in my eyes, anyway. Most people think it's hideous. I'm just biased) Conn 12M bari sax. It needs some work that I don't really have the time to do right now, but I'll get around to it when I get the money for the right tools. I played this saxophone senior year of high school in concert, symphonic, and marching band, and it shattered ear drums. It was also a leaky piece of garbage back then, but I still loved it. Also, I got some buttons at BronyCon and put them in my case.
  8. I currently live with my parents in the only house I've known. It's pretty old and bugs tend to find their way in pretty often, but it's not too bad, I guess. It's got three bedrooms and all the other usual rooms, as well as a chimney. The garage is separate from the house and pretty large (almost as big as the house itself), but it's falling apart and crawling with insects and animals. There was even a snake living in it at one point. I'm planning on moving out early next year, preferably somewhere in the woods that is still close enough to the main city to have cable internet and such.
  9. It's just intel 620 UHD integrated graphics, nothing special.
  10. Here's my laptop that I use like a desktop. Now that I have a job I'll be able to afford an actual computer soon, so I can't wait to upgrade.
  11. My favorite memory was probably walking around in fursuit and seeing the positive effect it had on people. I loved being able to watch the smiles of people who passed by, and every picture and compliment and hug just made me feel that much more fulfilled. The Gala was another amazing one. I wore a partial fursuit with formal wear and, being the loser that I am, decided to dance with the Rainbow Dash plushie I bought earlier that day. That also made a lot of people smile, which was all I could have asked for. The performance was amazing, too. They had me crying my eyes out for the last half hour of the Gala. I don't think I realized how much the show truly meant to me until that point, and even though it was only a day and a half into my first convention, BronyCon had already made a massive impact on me. The fursuit parade was interesting. It was great and I loved being in it, but it really wasn't planned out all that well. I think we had to steal a couple of water coolers from one of the panels. Neighhem Fest was sick. I'd never been to a rock/metal concert before, but I really enjoyed it. I just need to remember to bring earplugs if I ever go to another. It got really loud at times, to the point where it'd hurt my ears. I could list off countless more memories, but I think I'll stop there. Basically the entire weekend from start to finish was incredible, and I was reluctant to leave the convention center every night.
  12. All the time back in high school. I played Black Ops 1 for a while, then I got Black Ops 2 and played that a bunch (I eventually got diamond snipers as well as a number of other golden guns, which I'm still proud of. My golden combat knife was especially difficult). I borrowed Modern Warfare 3, Ghosts, and Advanced Warfare from a friend a while back, and I liked all of them except for Ghosts. As for the more recent ones (all of which I've played at least a little bit), Black Ops 3, 4, and Infinite Warfare all felt like the exact same game, which wouldn't be unacceptable if they were actually good. BO4 especially was terrible, and the game kind of just felt half-assed. I'm glad I never bought any of those. I need to get an Xbox One so I can start playing again (I hate the competitive atmosphere of PC gaming). I was in the same situation with my 360 where I probably won't have the spare money to buy one until next gen consoles are right around the corner.
  13. I've gotten INFJ-T the past two times, but I got ISFJ-T this time. I felt like I've changed as a person in recent months, so I decided I might as well take it again.
  14. If I had to pick just one, season one Fluttershy is probably the closest. Even she was more outgoing than me, though (as shown when she starts talking to Spike). If I can do a combination, think season one Fluttershy with a little bit of Peril from Wings of Fire sprinkled in.
  15. It depends on how familiar I am with the genre. In Minecraft I usually play on medium or hard depending on how I'm feeling, and while I like normal mode in Terraria too, expert mode is a nice challenge. In FPS games I start on normal, but I'll bump the difficulty up once I feel comfortable in the game. In racing games (the few that I play) I'll usually do easy, but depending on the game, sometimes I'll play medium. And in games like Skyrim I'll play on Adept (roughly equivalent to medium, I think), but if I want to have fun and god-mode, I'll bump it down to Novice and just find a dragon to kick to death. I remember doing a solo run-through of Halo Reach on legendary back in high school, and that was hell. I got to the part in the last mission where (I'd say spoiler, but it's an old game) Emile dies and you have to get to the massive gun and shoot down all the Covenant ships, but I could never reach it without dying. My Halo Reach disc got irreparably scratched before I could complete it, which was disappointing. I need to buy a new one and finally finish it just so I can say I did. Or maybe I'll just wait until it's out on PC.
  16. I took very few pictures since I was fursuiting pretty much the whole con, but I'll post what I took.
  17. Neighhem Fest is done and my bags are all packed, so it's officially over. BronyCon is finished.

Now I'm just crying in my hotel room while eating uncooked ramen and listening to Solidarity.

    The feels.

  18. It's been a hell of a weekend, but it's almost over. This was my first and last BronyCon (first convention ever, as well), but the fun I've had was immeasurable and the memories I've made will last a life time.

Goodbye for now, everypony. I hope to see you all at Ciderfest 2020.

Don't mind the trash bag in the pictures. It's just holding my fursuit.

  19. Hot water in my hotel suddenly started working, so now I can take a shower without freezing to death. Yay!

  20. The last thing I expected to do at the Gala tonight was bawl my eyes out. Luckily nobody noticed since I was in costume. For some reason, the ends of the show and the con didn't really hit me until the staff's performance.

It's only day 1 (2 technically), but I've already made so many good memories. I can't believe how much I'm enjoying myself here. I'm gonna make this a weekend I'll never forget.

  21. Is this what it feels like when your body actually produces dopamine? I felt so happy today that when I got back to my hotel room a few minutes ago, I subconsciously started humming. I've never done that in my life.

  22. There are so many people holy crap

  23. @Jedishy Are we all going to meet at your room or the hotel lobby tonight?
