Twilight sparkle - She's the worst and doesn't deserve anything she got Rainbow Dash - Annoying, self-centered, and people ship her too much (I will mention that whenever I say how bad she is because that lie is that annoying) Pinkie Pie - Annoying, annoying, annoying, did I mention annoying? Flurry Heart - WASTED POTENTIAL! She's just a bad copy of Poof Lyra/Bon Bon - They're very bland and have nothing special about them Apple Bloom - I don't understand why she's the leader of the CMCs. It should be Sweetie Belle, she's more interesting

1 Fluttershy: BEST PONY! I can see how someone can find her "just ok" since her being shy all the time can be a bit boring, but other than that, she's amazing. She's adorable, she's kind, she's infinitly better than Twilight, she's just amazing 2 Rarity and Applejack: I can't rank these two differently. I love them both equally. Rarity is so funny and beautiful, and Applejack is just so sweet and charming, I love them both 3 Twilight: She's... Ok. I like how innocent and nerdy she is. I don't like how all her problems are magically solved by Celestia or "friendship* and when she does bad stuff she doesn't get punished. I do NOT like the princess thing. I feel like it came way too early, and was a really dumb idea. She's already the element of magic. She doesn't need to be a princess! Frankly, she didn't need to be an element! 4 Rainbow Dash:.. Meh. I don't have much to say about Rainbow Dash. She's annoying, she's selfish, she's generic, she's immature, and she's severly overrated 5 Pinkie Pie: Pinkie Pie is annoying. She's cute, but other than that, the only interesting thing about her is her family

I don't know if G5 theories count but; Izzy is Twilight Sparkles reincarnated. Think about it She looks a lot like Twilight, with a purple coat and purplish mane She "conveniently" finds Sunny's letter (I think she found it on purpose) She's the first to become friends with Sunny and KNEW they were going to become friends

The only ones I'm really active about; Fluttershy x Discord - Because they're meant to be. I swear this ship should be canon Big Mac x Marble Pie - They're also meant to be... Because... Of because Twilight x Fluttershy - For Twilight I prefer Flashlight, but I'm more actively interesting in Twishy. Because these are the two most interesting of the mane six. Twilight isn't really all that good, but she's interesting

Fluttershy - I know she's literally one of the most loved ponies every but she still doesn't get enough love! Marble Pie - She's just so shy and cute, I love her! Every single parent of the mane six (Besides Rarity and Applejack's parents) - This especiallly includes Twilight's parents. I think they're really interesting Cozy Glow - WHY IS THIS CHARACTER SO HATED!? She's so cute and such a good villain! Sugar Belle - She's adorable, and I know people only dislike her because "ShE rUiNs ChEeRiMaC!". Cheerimac is a bad ship in the first place. I'm upset it ruins Marblemac, but Sugar Belle isn't bad because of that

Twilight - I absolutely adored her before she became princess. She was so cute and nerdy and innocent. But once she became princess the show started trying to make her more mature and ruin everything that made her adorable. Sunburst is everything Twilight should've been Flurry Heart - Flurry Heart is so infuriating. She had potential, she really did. A baby alicorn that can't control her magic? That's an interesting concept! BUT THEY DON'T DO ANYTHING WITH IT! In "A flurry of emotions" they could've just replaced Flurry Heart with Pumpkin Cake and Pound Cake and it would change nothing. And when they actually do something with Flurry Heart that's interesting she's just ruining everything! Sunset - I don't know why. I just don't like her. She doesn't have the same charm Starlight has Pinkie Pie - She's just so annoying to me

It's not just her relationship with RD and Rarity. It's her relationship with all of them. I'm just saying since she's the closest to them all it would suit her better to represent them all I know. The point is that it would help her GROW into better suiting that leadership and being less submissive I never said ANYTHING about her appearance It's not an argument. I was just making my own suggestion and explaining my reason. The argument is "who would make a better princess"

If she is putting an entire EMPIRE in danger, no. I don't care if she doesn't understand. If it's a choice between freezing an empire of ponies to death or scaring my niece, I'd pick scare my niece

Twilight is the canon princess of friendship. I personally don't like her as that. I think she's an amazing character, just not a great "main" character or princess. I think Fluttershy would make a much better princess But what does everyone else think? Is there a character you think would make for a better princess than Twilight?

Twilight was kind of a good character at first. She did have some bad qualities (That I'm still bringing up) but she was still a bit good. She was cute and innocent and endearing. But when she became an alicorn the show began to try and force her into being more mature, which just made her boring Here is my list of reasons why Twilight doesn't deserve to be the princess of friendship and is a bit of a bad character Twilight almost never gets punished for what she does like in lesson zero Twilight gives up too easily when there is an easy answer and has to be carried by other characters. Yes I know this is trying to teach "friendship is magic" but to me, all it's showing is "Twilight is a baby". And in the movie, Twilight almost gets hit by Tempest's crystal balls or whatever and has to get saved by, and get this. Derpy... DERPY! Twilight is actually kind of a horrible pony. I know she can't be perfect because that would be even more boring, but they don't have to lean her imperfections into being mean and dumb. She yells at Pinkie Pie in the movie (I know she was dealing with a lot then, but still), she brings her niece to a bunch of sick foals, she's abusive towards Spike, she uses a spell on CHILDREN just so she can pretend to learn a friendship lesson that eventually effects the entire town, she takes gleeful pleasure in seeing her friends being upset in that same episode, she's mean to Pinkie Pie in trivial pursuit, she sends Cozy Glow, a CHILD to tartarus because she doesn't understand friendship Twilight is sometimes too oblivious. I know I just said I liked how innocent she was, but sometimes it is actually too much. Like in return of harmony; she's an idiot and doesn't realize of the change of her friends even though there's a villain around that can basically do anything and could've easily done that to them... Like... Bruh

Then they can yell at her, frankly don't care. In "A flurry of emotions" when Twilight yells at Flurry Heart it works. Sure, it might just be because the yelling scared her, but clearly yelling works

Twilight Sparkle. She is just so boring and stereotypical I hate how she's had to relearn "Friendship is magic" like 4 times (In Shadow Play, The ending of the end, The beginning of the end, Magical Mystery cure maybe). It's just so boring and shows how much she really doesn't understand friendship and doesn't deserve to be the princess of friendship Twilight never gets punished. Lesson Zero is a good example. I know I should be mad at Celestia for giving no punishment, but I can't bring myself to because I know Twilight didn't get punished because "It's Twilight, she's too perfect to be punished" or something dumb like that She treats Spike horribly and like a slave She gets all the credit. In the season premier, the other members of the Mane six literally did EVERYTHING and who gets the crown and the big "I knew you could do it" speak? TWILIGHT. All she did is say what the others did The alicorn thing. Her being an alicorn in itself isn't bad, it's the timing (Should've saved it for season 8 or 9) and the reason She's a mary sue, especially in Twilight Kingdom She's not even necessary with an element of kindness. Yeah I said it. An element of magic is unnecessary with an element of kindness Twilight is honestly just a less annoying but worse version of Marinette Rainbow Dash is just as bad She's annoying, her fans are annoying because they're all pretty much the same She takes away focus from other characters (she's the one who gave everyone their cutie mark, she has fanclubs, she's the one who goes with Sunset and Twilight in that one Equestria movie/show, she's the one the mane six have to get in Return To Harmony) Too many people think she's the most shipped pony and it's stupid (and not even true) She gets away with too much She's just not my type of character. The only positive quality I can think of is I kind of like how she secretly likes to be pampered. It's kinda cute, but that's it

I understand that, but clearly Flurry Heart is capable of understanding what the adults are saying. They could've at least told her "Hey Flurry Heart you need to be careful" but nope, they did NOTHING

I agree. My problem is that she's an overpowered alicorn and a spoiled brat that never gets in trouble Alicornness is a reward for accomplishing something. We have no idea what Celestia or Luna did but it is easy to assume it might have something to do with Starswirl or being able to raise the sun/moon. And Cadence is kinda obvious; It's because she represents the crystal heart in love and light. Twilight (as much as I hate it) got her wings for finishing an ancient spell one of the most powerful unicorns couldn't finish (even though it was their own spell). Even Cozy Glow got a reason to temporarily be an alicorn. She got the powers from the bell. But Flurry Heart? We don't know. And it sucks because Hasbro could've DONE something with it! But nope, they just used her as a plot device to cause horrible things. She even nearly causes an entire empire to freeze just because she was pulled away from Pinkie Pie. And she's REWARDED for it!

That's an interesting concept but here me out. What if, they have one episode per element to show each of them becoming an alicorn

My problem isn't really that fact that she became an alicorn, it's the timing and princess thing. She does not deserve being a princess (Fluttershy does) and maing her the princess ruins her whole character. If she's the princess it implies that she's supposed to be better than the rest of the mane six. But she isn't, she's worse than them besides Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash. If they had to have an alicorn, what I think would've been best is if a different member was to become princess, and Twilight's job was to be a friend and guide them through it. That would've been amazing and great character growth!

Fluttershy has "The stare" and is the only one that can communicate with animals. I'd say that's pretty magical I 100% agree! Honestly, Fluttershy should've been the main character! I'd have prefered to watch someone grow as a pony to become less shy and face her fears than watch some boring know-it-all ONLY learn about being a princess and friendship all the time. Cause that gets boring after awhile What I would've LOVED to see is maybe Fluttershy being a secret alicorn or something like that
