A few examples that prove this include: Making Rainbow Dash act like a complete fool in a few later FIM episodes ("Newbie Dash" is a prime example of this) and even in an EQG special (Spring Breakdown) in an effort to make people stop liking her because they knew damn well that she was the most popular of the Mane 6. Insisting that Equestria Girls last just as long as Friendship is Magic, resulting in not being able to make a proper finale of its cartoon series. Making Generation 5 a direct continuation of its predecessor - set in a distant future, which in hindsight was a bad idea in my opinion because of the problems the Discovery Family contract caused to the production of MYM as well as the fan theories and headcanons of Twilight outliving her friends. Ending the production of G5 cartoons early because they felt that it wasn't profitable enough. I could name more examples of this trend, but you get the idea already. I would imagine they could make this movie work by using animated characters in a live action setting, similar to movies like Who Framed Roger Rabbit?, the Sonic movies, and the 2011 Smurfs movie. It would be neat to see humans co-existing with ponies for the first time since G1, if that's what they're going for with this. One positive is that the production of a new MLP movie could give Hasbro an incentive to release the complete series of FIM on Blu-ray, as we've seen some classic TV shows getting physical releases as tie-ins to movies and reboot series.

I had to replace the battery on two New 3DS XL consoles (both mine and dad's) for the same reason. I've also found out that PSP batteries can also bloat, which happened to both of my PSP batteries too, so I'll have to order a replacement battery for that console soon.
