What Childhood TV Shows Do You Miss So Much?
KPackratt replied to Rainbowknuckles's topic in Media Discussion
Phil of the Future. The idea of having a family from the future visit the present seemed like an interesting concept to me, so it would be interesting to see how they'd pull off something like that in a more recent time. Wizards of Waverly Place would be my second choice, though that show has been rebooted recently, so I'll be sure to check that out soon. Aside from those two, I can't think of any more examples of childhood shows that I miss at the moment. -
general If you could own any object from any movie, what would it be?
KPackratt replied to Dreambiscuit's topic in Media Discussion
Do Made-for-TV Movies count? If so, I've always wanted to own the Zap-Pads from the Zenon movies, especially the one from the sequel. Another movie object I'd like to have (if it existed) would be the memory scanner from Meet the Robinsons. -

If you suddenly left, then who would we reach out to for support when we're experiencing technical difficulties here? It wouldn't be the same without you.

Poll: What is your beginning and end of the franchise?
KPackratt replied to FirePuppy's topic in Sugarcube Corner
G3-G4.5. I remember seeing the G3 toy commercials when I was little, I also watched a few of the G3 cartoons out of curiosity when I first became a Brony. G4 was the peak of the franchise, though it did have its declining point (which was Season 6 for me). I was skeptical about Pony Life (G4.5), until I watched some episodes and found myself liking it. The G5 cartoons aren't that interesting to me, mainly because of how rushed its development was and the fact that it's connected to G4. -

i think mlp is doomed (g6 leaks here!)
KPackratt replied to PetalwingFIM's topic in Sugarcube Corner
Yeah, I never thought The Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog or Chip & Dale Rescue Rangers would get a Blu-ray release before MLP:FIM, yet here we are. Kinda lame that Shout Studios never bothered to give that show a Blu-ray release despite its success. Signs seem to point towards their contract with Hasbro expiring in 2019 and them not bothering to renew it. When you consider that their first MLP DVD release was Twinkle Wish Adventure (G3.5) in 2009 and the last FIM DVD was released ten years after that, this theory makes sense. Now with the show leaving Netflix for good and the Discovery Family contract expiring, now is a better time than ever for Shout or Discotek to consider obtaining the licensing to release MLP:FIM on Blu-ray to tie in with its 15th anniversary. That would be an immediate day one purchase for me.- 68 replies

movies/tv What was your favourite childhood movie?
KPackratt replied to Reecejackox's topic in Media Discussion
Shrek, Toy Story, School of Rock, Aladdin, Small Soldiers, Uncle Buck, and Monsters Inc. -
They were close to making a G5 incarnation of Equestria Girls according to leaked photos of unreleased dolls and a slide from an internal document mentioning a series called "Cutie Mark Club", though it was cancelled for some reason (either the financial struggles that Hasbro went through over the recent years prevented them from doing so or they decided that G5 wasn't going to be profitable enough to continue working on beyond the content they've released to date). That said, they could bring back Equestria Girls in some capacity in the future, depending on how things go with MLP. I wonder if a campaign to get as many fans as possible to convince Hasbro to bring it back would be of any help, though it would be best to wait and see what the future of MLP holds for us before going that route.

Five years ago, I was a nervous wreck because I was worried about getting sick from a certain worldwide pandemic that occurred back then. I also closed my former YouTube channels because I feared that the COPPA update would affect my videos.

I once had a dream where My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic aired on Adult Swim. Now that both Discovery Family and Adult Swim are owned by Warner Bros Discovery, it could probably happen, though I doubt it actually would as it would confuse viewers, especially those who aren't bronies.

Rainbow Dash's obsession with evil magic in Spring Breakdown, especially the part where she got Pinkie Pie banned from the desert buffet. For a while it made me hate Rainbow Dash to the point where I wished she got booted off the Equestria Girls series and replaced by a Human Starlight or some other character, it was THAT bad.

Considering there are at least a few adult EQG characters whose designs are based on the same models as the Mane 7 (specifically Cheerilee and Nurse Redheart), I don't think they would look any different as young adults. I've also seen fan art of the EQG Mane 7 depicted as young adults and they looked the same as they did as teenagers in the cartoons. The only change I would make is their height. Since Cheerilee was taller than the Mane 7, it wouldn't hurt to make them a bit taller.

How different would Equestria Girls be if the characters were adults rather than teenagers?

I have the Mane 6 Aurora plushies, but not all in the same size. I have Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Fluttershy, and Applejack in 8" as well as Pinkie Pie, Alicorn Twilight, and Unicorn Twilight in 5". I also have Aurora keychain plushies of Rarity, Rainbow Dash, and Pinkie Pie. I have dozens of the Funrise and Ty Beanie Babies pony plushies in a box in my closet. I have the Mane 6 as Hallmark Itty-Bittys plushies on a shelf in my bedroom cabinet. I have a Build A Bear Rainbow Dash plush that I got for Christmas on 2018.
