    Alright, so you know how Celestia's and Luna's manes are all like this in the beginning? Well, here's what I think. I think that when Celestia used the Elements of Harmony on Nightmare Moon, the residual effect made their manes all flowey. Surely harnessing the most powerful magic known to ponydom has to have some sort of side effect, right? The reason it hasn't happened to the mane 6 is because it's spread out across six ponies.

    I listen predominately to metal. (Not american metal. I don't like most of it that I've heard.) Specifically, folk, power, black, viking and symphonic metal. Folk/Viking metal: Melodies. They are glorious. Also, folk instruments go really with with electric guitar,somehow. Example bands: Korpikaani, Eluveite, older Elvenking, Ensiferum, Tyr Power metal: The songs are fast, catchy, and upbeat. They fill me with energy. Example bands: Dragonforce, Blind Guardian, Van Canto Black Metal: Black metal creates an atmosphere and feeling, unable to be replicated by other genres, and even other art forms. I have to be in a particular mood to listen to it though. Example bands: Enslaved, Evilfeast Symphonic Metal: I love the melodies, and the epicness of hearing choirs and orchestras in my metal. Example bands: Rhapsody of Fire, Therion, Epica And Wintersun. They're a bit of a lot of things. They're just orgasmic. Just listen to it. Power-folk- melodic death-symphonic orgy of eargasms.

    My first time talking about MLP with my parents was when I wanted to buy a Pinkie Pie toy on ebay. My mom just kinda giggled or something, but bought it for me anyway. My mom told me that my dad thinks that I'm gay, and that I "fool around" with my best friend when we're upstairs. It didn't help that I usually wore a rainbow necklace a lot. My friend and I showed "Cutie Mark Chronicles" to my brother, and he found it alright, but he seems to think that all bronies are sheep. I showed a few episodes to my brother's girlfriend, and she liked it. (though she doesn't watch it on her own) I showed "Hurricane Fluttershy" to my sister's boyfriend (he's a dad, and I'm an uncle now. Ugh.) He though it was alright. Both my parents have not seen an episode (to my knowledge) My 11 year old sister hates the show with a burning passion.

    I can't recall a single person making fun of me for being a brony. I do remember one dude saying "ponies are gay, man!" on the last day of school when the topic somehow came up. But me and my peeps ignored them.

    Ummm... well then... I was actually planning on adding a small dubstep portion to the black metal song I am currently working on to see how people like it. (despite the fact I have never previously composed more than twelve seconds of a song before this one) To answer OP, it doesn't always make a song better, but it can enhance the song, used properly. Just look at SondOfTheAviator's Monster and One Last Letter (VIP).

    I discovered Dragonforce through Guitar Hero, and it was the first metal song I had ever heard, other than Metallica. (I was really sheltered.) (Also, I never really listened to music before then) I fell in love instantly, looked it up on YouTube, and listened to all the other Dragonforce songs. Through the comments and related videos, I discovered Rhapsody of Fire, Spellblast, Ensiferum, Elvenking, Wintersun, Apocalyptica, Van Canto, Falkenbach, Tyr, and all the other metal I listen to. I also looked through a bunch of Nuclear Blast's artists and Metal Archives to find stuff I liked.

    I just watched "A Rebel Without A Collar". It's watchable, but I don't like the art style much. I'm probably not gonna watch it again unless I get really bored. I also saw that new CGI care bears show. About the last ten minutes of an episode. Oh god, I wanted to gouge my eyes and ears out.
