    I met her at AFO this year and asked her about it. She was pissed at first, but ultimately realized that it was a joke and moved on. I remember the depressed brony, but they laughed at him because he forgot how old he was, not because he was depressed.

    That's a bit melodramatic. Who is being ground under a heel? Tara Strong thought it was funny. I don't understand why bronies can't take it on the chin & laugh at themselves. Actually the distinction was made between bronies and cloppers. Howard and co were pretty fair and even-handed during the segment.

    It could be argued that Candlejack has had as much screentime, if not more, than Twilight Sparkle this season. Twi didn't even appear in this one. AJ has been in all of them and integral to most of the stories. So bah on anyone who says she's not a VIP.

    Remember when Princess Luna was on guard duty and saw Twilight running by? She said "stay indoors, Twilight Sparkle!" I half expected her to finish that thought with "for the night is dark and full of terror!"

    I've been wondering if the show runners were going to do something like this and, since last week, it looks like they could. I think there might be an anti-Mane Six made up of the rivals of our Mane Six. We've already got Trixie, but now we've also got Lightning Dust. All we need is 4 more aggrieved ponies who take issue with Sixer morality and we've got a showdown.

    I liked how the dreamscape changed when Luna revealed herself to Scoots. Her ability to enter your dreams also gives her the ability to make the dream lucid. It is in our dreams where we are often the most honest with ourselves.

    Yeah good point. I hadn't considered that since she had lost it earlier in the episode and had it again in the next scene. I like the new arrangement. Rainbow Dash is gonna teach Scootaloo to fly. Scoots is gonna teach Dashie to HAX!

    Shining Armor and Cadence appear to be able to conjure Element of Harmony level magic despite not being connected to them. I guess that makes him pretty strong. But his son Shining Snow has the potential to be much stronger :-P

    I recently started dating a girl who sometimes falls into a pseudo Brooklyn/Boston/Jersey accent. Her nickname is now Babs.

    I picked Opalescence as best pet because she's a kitteh! And opalescent is a cool word that I learned from Kevin Barnes. Tank runs a close second. Angel is the worst pet because he's a little asshole. Rabbits are too delicious to keep as pets anyway.

    Applejack simply isn't flashy enough. All the other ponies have something special/crazy going on. The unicorns have magic, the pegasi can fly, Pinkie has a mofuckin' party cannon. Candlejack has a hat and a family, and they're all cooler and more memorable than she is too. But Applejack seems to me like the de facto leader and most responsible of the bunch. Also the smartest after Twilight. She keeps the group's hooves on the ground (except for Rainbow Dash, as walking is beneath her).

    Trixie didn't seem all that evil to me in Boast Busters. The mistakes that she made were born more of vanity than true malice. But she does have a dark side and the amulet exacerbated that. Twilight did the right thing in the end. It's like Lincoln said. "The best way to defeat an enemy is to make him a friend." Hopefully the lesson isn't lost on TGaPT.

    Fluttershy was usually my favorite, but I think Twilight is now. Pinkie Pie is usually able to be #1 for a few minutes too. But how could anyone not love Twilight?

    They could. You could even get a good lesson out of it how its important to still make time for your friends even if you have a special somepony hanging around sucking the life out of you. Ahh relationships

    Well according to my headcanon, if an alicorn mates with a non-alicorn, any pony type could be born. For instance, an earth pony and an alicorn giving birth to a pegasus pony. But an alicorn can only be born to alicorns.

    It seems the main gripe about Sombra was that he lacked a personality. What kind of personality would everyone have liked? I'm not even sure. I liked him as the silent brute. Sombra was darkness and sorrow boiled down to its essence.
