Artemis! How did I forget that?! Thanks! :derp:

  2. First, that was a pain snipping on a tablet. Lol Mostly though, if I could brohoof a second time after you added to it I would. You better covered everything I tried to touch on but was limited by being on this stupid tablet. I think you pretty much covered everything about how to correctly fit into a pony based RP.
  3. Fixed it for you. Are only the sane allowed to apply?
  4. Congrats on getting on EqD! Looks good, though the cutie mark is wrong for Flutterbat. Don't let that bother you though since it was your first time making her. I like your Solitude Fluttershy picture as well. Hope to see more from ya.
  5. First off, I'm typing this out on a tablet so forgive any errors. It's 1am and the coolest room in the house right now is not my bedroom, so no PC access. Secondly, I don't want this to come across that I'm bashing on the OP's OC, but it is going to seem that way because of the points I'm going to make. Sorry in advance, no offense meant, feel free to logically counter my points. I'm against alicorn OC's because no matter what excuse you want to toss out, only royalty has been shown as them. We saw how Twilight became one, and it took a very specific thing to be done, and then she still had to be granted alicorn status from the current almighty alicorn princess. Having an alicorn and then claiming something to specifically make them not op usually only makes them worse. They have traits to make them seem like they aren't op by having things like magic they don't know how to use (or their horn is permanently broken so they can't cast), can't use their wings for reasons unknown, and plenty of other excuses. I'm not only against alicorns though. If I ran an rp, each character would get looked at and I can tell you there are plenty of OC's that would not get into my groups because of reasons that just go against lore too much. My lore ocd also makes me cringe when it comes to colors used or designs that look like Discord tossed the pony together in his sleep. I'm also very much against the gun happy, assassin type, emo, loner who is secretly a vampire bat pony that lives beyond the Everfree Forest (to give a mashed up example) because of how out of place that would seem in the show. Now I'm not saying alicorn or the others that bother me should be banded from all RPs, but the creators of the RP needs to state how lore focused the RP is. That should be what determines if alicorns and assassins would be allowed or not. If the RP takes place in the true to the show world, then it makes sense to screen the OCs and ban alicorns flat out. If its Equestria but Skynet is taking over, then set the gun happy ponies and alicorns free to smoosh the machines. Forgot to mention that lore friendly unicorn magic is not op. Their magic is normally the universal stuff like telekinesis, and then only stuff that applies to their special talent. Twilight being the exception since her talent is magic, but even then it wasn't op because she had to try hard and learn to cast things. She was shown struggling instead of going "poof the Ursa minor vanishes" and she even admitted to not being able to do certain spells no matter how hard she tried. ALSO, casting a spell to add wings (temporarily or permanent) does not make a unicorn an alicorn. The show makes it pretty clear that alicorns have their own special magic, they are in a class of their own when it comes to magic. You could chop the wings off an alicorn and they'd still be vastly more powerful than even the highest level unicorn. I doubt unicorn Twilight would ever be able to move a celestial body no matter how much she trained.
  6. Ya know, I've never noticed this before, but that thing looks like a newer style Ford Fusion and Chrysler 200 had a baby. lol
  7. Then why are you asking about exotic cars in the first place? "Sexy" is very often used when talking about the stylings of cars such as the Challenger, Charger, or V12. Go get yourself a Civic and rice it out with a fart cannon and illegal blue headlights if all you want is "ego stroking". I should elaborate that it varies state by state. It's not a federal issued license here, just a state one. And rules, ages, and types of licenses vary. It's pretty stupid honestly.
  8. I think it's 16 here. I waited until 18 though so I didn't have to deal with a temp license that requires you to have a legal driver with you.
  9. Well since we're all just a bunch of dreamers, I say neither. 1970 Hemi Challenger R/T has sexier lines IMO than the Charger.
  10. Nothing quite like iced coffee on a hot, no breeze, sunny, summer day.

  11. Could also add that the game is on Steam. And again, my handle is @kitzel.
  12. It looks like she is up to no good/knows something you don't know! :okiedokielokie: Love it!
  13. 1977, black with red decals I think.
  14. A fleet topic would be great. Could even use it to plan events and stuff if we wanted. That way those interested in joining could see what we're up to and stuff, see if we'd be a good fit or maybe give them that push to join the game.
  15. Octodad is on sale on Steam. So worth the 5 bucks.

  16. I personally prefer Samsung or Dell monitors, but the Asus ones I've encountered were pretty nice. Admittedly that's only about 2 or so, but they're in my top 5 I'd say mostly because I've had good luck with their other products as well.
  17. It's not nearly as bad as people make it out to be. It took me awhile to give in and watch it because all the flak made it sound like it was going to be horrible. I was bored one day so I figured "why not". It's generally got the same vibe to it as the show, just in a high school setting, and not ponies. I've actually watched it 2 or 3 times by now, mostly because I like to rewatch things to pickup on stuff I might have missed the first time through. First time I normally focus on the actual story of something, then I go back and just enjoy. Watching for easter eggs and stuff. I'll agree with @TenorSounds, it's a B/B- I'd say.
  18. Sadly I live on the other side of the country from Cali and too far from Baltimore to attend BronyCon or I'd setup a meeting. And I have a hard time understanding people on my phone half the time, plus the thing is just hard to have extended conversations on since it's so thin. If there was a Skype/Kik/similar option I'd be up for that, has anyone else asked about doing so that way yet? I'd hate to bother them with an email asking about that if someone else already has.
  19. Been awhile since I've offered up my OC for something like this, so why not. Love the ones you've done so far, wouldn't mind a link to your DA if you don't mind sending it my way. Do I break the OC trend so far and request the Great and Powerful Mane-iac... Nah, I think I'd rather have something of my one and only OC: Puddlejumper More pics, bio, and all that can be found in the link (including details about what she looks like dry). Shortened Bio: She's kind of shy, keeps to herself usually, but can be very open and random when around friends. Loves rain and just hanging out on clouds at night, enjoying the view. No matter what, thanks for the chance!
  20. I started making Mandalorian armor a few years back, it's since moved to the waaaaay back burner, but I was making it all except the helmet basically. One year for Halloween I made an actual Freddy Krueger glove. Used one of those plastic costume ones as a template and went from there with a burnt/torn leather work/welding glove I had, scrap copper pipes, and sheets of steel we had laying around. You've just got to think smart. Buy what you can find at a store. Depending on the character, Army Surplus stores can be great. Antique stores, thrift stores, or other specialty stores are your best bet, and then make or hire the rest out. If you don't have the skill or don't want to spend the money, then go with a character like Booker from Bioshock who wears pretty basic clothes you could find at a thrift store probably. Something like a Xeno or Predator is just people who either have great skill and plenty of time, or a swimming pool of money like Scrooge McDuck.
  21. Anyone else ever have this strange feeling, like being lost or like somethings missing? Yea, got that going on right now. Annoying...

  22. My uncle had that exact car growing up. My mom's family had some sweet cars back in the day. My gramps had a fastback Mustang and a Z28 Camaro I think it was. My mom had a hemi Challenger in hemi orange to boot. My uncle had that Trans Am as well as some other muscle car that I can't think of right now, and I'm sure I'm forgetting more. Too bad none of them hung onto any of them. My dad had a couple "Spirit of America" Nova's (or whatever that package was called) and I think he had an AMX.
  23. I like to imagine it would be like the Greybeards in Skyrim. Even the faintest whisper could be fatal. Didn't see this before my response since I was typing mine up and playing with tabs. That's awesome.
  24. They have finally arrived! and there was much rejoicing. Photo Finish Queen Chrysalis Celestia & Mane 5 Zecora EqG Anyone else planning on picking any of these up? I kind of want Celestia but no one else from the collection, anyone buying it and would be willing to part with Sunbutt? Or would anyone be interested in buying any of the others that come in the set? Anyways... Ponies in stockings. Not even Hasbro could resist.
  25. They'd be a bit bigger I'm sure. I mean take Discord for example, he's quite a bit taller than the ponies. I'll bet he is taller than Trixie (with hat), and her box is almost an inch higher than the rest.
