    I'm leaving for college tomorrow and I've come upon a dilemma for what I do about a PC. I currently have at my disposal two different PCs. No matter which one I take, it would be connected to a 1920x1200 or two monitor My top tier gaming rig I built last year, in a full size tower that weighs a ton and is the size of a small house, but can handle anything thrown at it including massive sized files in PS/SAI. An old Core 2 Quad Dell desktop with an AMD Radeon HD 6670 and 4gigs RAM that allows it to handle PS fairly well so long as I don't get carried away with layers or size. Is complete rubbish at games. So basically I'm trying to decide which one to take with me. I'm going into an art focused major, and I really don't want to be stuck doing all my work on school PCs. I also don't want to be stuck working on the cheap, low res, Sandy Bridge Pentium laptop when I'm in my room (I plan on taking it no matter what so I can go write papers elsewhere if I want). Currently I don't have a roommate that I know about (my paperwork said I didn't have one but one might be found), but I'm kind of worried the gaming rig will be a huge target for theft. Of course it is huge and heavy so I guess it has that going for it, but someone could always just pull the graphics card or something. So, what does everyone think? Anyone currently in college/been through college able to maybe help shine some light on things? Would the gaming rig just be asking for it? Would it just be way too large to have in a dorm? Would it be enough to overlook the size because of how much newer it is and that it can handle anything? And while I'd love to just buy a modern laptop that could handle PS/SAI just fine and all that, buying a new laptop is not financially viable right now.

    It's late and it's been a long past few days, so sit down and suffer the incoming bad puns! So I'm sitting here thinking I should get ready for bed... and we all know there is one certain thing you've got to do before going to bed. Problem is... while I'd really like to play with myself, that would ruin the MIB status my package is currently in. And let me tell you, it's a big package. Very pretty iridescent colors all over too, most easily seen on the head. Here, have a pic so you can see what I'm talking about.

    I've used it on both my tablet and phone, but I hate doing so. I do not like the pure mobile version of the site, and even with the built-in stylus both my phone and tablet have, using the full site isn't much better. Many features are missing when you post I have found out, so I will normally only browse from a mobile device and switch to a computer if I need to reply.

    From what I've read, there appears to be hope that the exclusive rights only apply to launch/holiday season. Otherwise, this is a real BS move. I've followed Tomb Raider from the very beginning, always playing it on a PS until the recent reboot which I played on PC since I don't really console game anymore. I own every Nintendo, Sony, M$ console up to this generation. And so far I have not seen a point to buy any of the 3 current systems. Whoever is making decisions for the divisions at M$ clearly has their head so far up you-know-where that they can't see anything but their own ideas and greed. W8 is failing, they did away with a traditional version of Office, Surface tablets are failing, Windows Phone is failing, the Zune sadly already came and went, and now the XB is failing. At this point, I'd be lying if I said anything other than "I hope M$ crashes and burns with all their recent failures lately and then pulling moves like this". I can understand exclusives, but those should only be for series that started out/were made for one system. They shouldn't be able to bribe companies to make a game that is meant for all an exclusive in hopes of boosting their console sales. With the prices of consoles anymore, not to mention how very similar they are now, Sony and M$ would be wise to just combine forces and make one ultimate console honestly. I'm sorry, but in order to buy both consoles you could build a pretty nice PC, more powerful than them both, instead

    This topic is just running in circles. Your counterargument can't just keep being "I disagree, they are different" and not provide proof. If you truly believe they are different, then you need to find screenshots from the show where each pony is roughly the same distance from the camera but more importantly their wings are in the exact same position. The vectors above don't even hold up because clearly they are based on times when their wings are in different positions of their flap rotation (but even based on them they look the same size). My opinion on the matter, and since I've done animating of this nature before, is that they are the same. The ponies themselves are just recolored copies of each other, frames get reused all the time for each pony no matter who it was originally drawn for (look at the dance scene where Rarity has wings for A frame), so it is extremely unlikely that they make up different wings for every pegasi instead of just copy/paste/recolor. The exceptions being Scootaloo and Bulk since they are meant to have smaller wings than others.

    I seriously can't even fathom this news. It is a sad day indeed. One of the greats, and one of my favorites that I always knew I'd feel great sorrow on his passing. Didn't think that'd be for a very long time though. Off to start a Robin Williams marathon, starting with Patch Adams. Most people don't seem to care for that movie for some reason, I on the other hand very much enjoy it, and Patch is the doctor I need right now since Robin's passing is something that's hitting me pretty hard. I don't think there is a single performance of his I've seen, that I didn't enjoy. I am deeply saddened by this news and he will be very sorely missed.

    Any newcomers, feel free to add me in-game. I'm on pretty often. Have been working on my KDF character lately since my SF one is currently max level. But the max level is being increased soon so I'll be back on the SF side. I enjoy playing SF more anyways, so if you're in need to help or just want to do fleet missions or something, send me a PM in-game.

    You know what's funny about that experiment... you could easily screw with the results depending on surroundings. Wear a Dash shirt, have a Dash bracelet on or something rainbowy and that will influence them to vote Dash without them realising it. You could do the same with the other ponies. It's not as simple as just walking up to people and asking about ponies, there can't be any psychological cues present that could skew their decisions unknowingly.

    I was bashing? I thought I did a pretty decent job at just stating why I felt the way I did, in response to something Ghostie said about Trixie fans and Dash. Bashing... well that would be a lot of the things that have been said against AJ or Rarity honestly. Though I'm biased, just like you are since you're a Dash fan I'm guessing. Well... when you take into account the whole Scientology craziness and jumping on the couch thing... oops, better stop before this becomes a Tom Cruise bashing thread. someone make a separate topic pllllease. lol

    I've always said this. I mean, I'm a huge Trixie fan (my desk is covered in Funko Trixies, a brushable, plenty of Trixie stickers tossed around, my mini 10v has rotating wallpapers that are only of Trixie, custom made Trixie plush with hat/cape/EqG hoodie...) and Dash's ego just grates on me. I think it's because they are different styles of ego stroking. At least to me it seems that way. I can't seem to put into words exactly why it comes across like this to me, but I'll try. No clue if it'll come across the way I meant. Dash seems to truly believe that she's better than you, no exceptions. She will go to the extreme of cheating just to win at something so that she can claim herself to be better. She revels in the thought that she's better. She's not afraid to first off declare she's better, but then she proceeds to show off in the flashiest way possible, and then rub your face in it some more by trying to egg some praise out of you. She's been scolded many times by AJ or Twilight for acting off, and they basically tell her (either with words or a glare) to sit down and STFU. Trixie... Trixie's style is more... I honestly see it as being showy. Like it's part of her act, her stage character. Obviously some of that carries over off stage as well, since she continues to talk in the third person and such, but she seems to dial it back some. Like when she was ushered on to vanquish the Ursa Minor, she clearly didn't want to and knew she couldn't. I have a feeling Dash would have charged head first and worn herself out, and still you'd be hard pressed to get her to admit defeat and throw that fit and shout "I can't!". In fact, she'd probably get sat on or something and right before she passes out, she'd say "I'm awesome". Some of that is clearly what I have in my head, and that's fine, everyone can think how they want. We've not seen nearly as much Trixie as we've seen of Dash, and both times we have seen her, she was used as an antagonist for Twilight. I expect that she'll return, and when she does I want her attitude to still be there or it won't be Trixie. She just shouldn't become as mouthy as Dash. She should use her bravado as a reason to get better at magic, to prove that she actually can. Not just to stroke her ego.

    This was my case on my Note 2: Made it myself out of the Samsung TPU/Poly case and a custom skin meant to go on the back of the actual phone. I upgraded to a Note 3 last December though, so now like this but with the black phone: I frikkin love Speck cases. Some of the best I've ever used. Had one on my iPod Touch, iPhone 4S, iPad 3... Just wish they made all the colors they come in on the iPhones available for everyone else. Only 3 are available for the Note 3, but the iPhone has 11 in the Grip line. The Note 3 also only has two styles of cases available, but the iPhone again has 20 different cases. iPhone favoritism makes me sick.

    How have I not posted here before, this decision is far too easy for me so it would have been an easy post bumper. Pinkie Pie. She annoys me like nothing else on this planet. The writers clearly try way too hard to fanservice her. She didn't bother me nearly as much in the beginning as she does now. Dash is right behind her though. Can't stand how she always has to be the one to mouth off or say something that one of the others could have said. Also, her ego grates on me a bit, and this is coming from a huge Trixie fan. If you'll notice though, my complaints are more with the ways the writers use these two. If they allowed some of the other ponies to say something now and then, or would dial Pinkie back to how she used to be... I wouldn't have a problem with them. They'd still be at the bottom of my list, but I wouldn't despise them like I do now. It'd just be because I like the others more. Well, Hasbro would also need to stop using pretty much these two exclusively as the shows spokesponies, and start making equal merch of all the mane 6. I have the Dash belt buckle, but I want an AJ one! Not to mention keychains and other things that are pretty much Dash/Pinkie only.

    I made Mane-iac preaccident and ran around for a bit yesterday. Explored Ponyville, Canterlot, and Cloudsdale but didn't do much else before the server went down. I didn't really see much to do. I know the quests and stuff aren't the main focus, but I don't like games that just drop you in and show no direction of what to do. I know its alpha though so we'll just see how it progresses. I'm sure it'd be fun though if you played with a group of friends. It'd be excellent for roleplay though.

    Honestly? None. Here's why: The toys now are extremely cheap. I have a newer Shockwave sitting here on my shelf and there are huge holes in the sides of his legs, his arms, the feet are these tiny sticks... Right next to him I have a G2 Megatron, Beast Wars dragon Megatron, and G1 Hound. As well as a G1 non-transforming Action Master Shockwave. They are all built much much better than the new toys. Hound is even partially metal like the G1s were. I also have many of the other Beast Wars toys and none of them were this flimsy (T-Rex Megatron, Optimus Primal, Inferno, Waspinator, Rat Trap, and several others). Now, if they were to release new collectors versions of some of those I listed, more like the Anniversary Collectors Optimus Prime I have sitting here as well that has metal parts like the old G1s... I'd love to see the dragon Megatron and Inferno.

    Well that makes it sound like AJ dislikes Rarity. And uh... somehow that quote skipped my mind (even though the video is in my profile). THAT is my favorite AJ quote.

    Actually many people in the fandom have "feral" style characters that look like they do in the wild, they just take on certain human behaviors. It's not just made up of just bipedal characters. There are even Xenomorphs running around the fandom.

    Do laughs count as quotes? If so, Rarity's WaHaHa from "Sonic Rainboom". Otherwise... probably something Applejack said, Sweetie Belle's "I really like her mane", or Fluttershy's "Hey, Twilight. What's soaking wet and clueless? Your FACE!" Can't think of just a single AJ one right now, and I've been meaning to go back through the seasons, so I'd probably find something I totally forgot about anyways.
