  1. Well, they probably had to. They probably put it on the DVD as soon as the original episode released, and the iTunes version didn't get put up until days before the release date for this DVD, and by that point, the DVDs were probably already on their way to US stores, if they hadn't been there already. We'll have to see if they keep the original episode on future copies of their DVDs...
  2. I dated my first boyfriend for 3 and a half years. The relationship lasted a lot longer than it should have for several reasons, but I was scared to break it off and he wanted to make sure that by breaking up with me he wasn't going to hurt me. So we broke up when I was emotionally ready for it. Anyways, after we did, I went to a large dinner gathering of sorts that evening. There were a lot of couples. Suddenly I felt lonely, but later I realized that these couples were much better for each other than I was with my ex. It's not just about being in a relationship. It's about being in a good one.
  3. I once had a dream that I had checked the forums and it was announced that Lauren Faust had died at the age of 18. That was one of those dreams where I was glad that I had woken up... helps that Lauren is definitely older than that though, lol
  4. Because we share a common wisdom. I am honored that you have attached my username to a meme.
  5. Link please. I don't appreciate rumors and false information. If you could confirm this, however, that would be greatly appreciated.
  6. No, you don't need a relationship in middle school. From my experience, the youngest that people have ever dated the person they are currently married to is 16. And that was only a small handful of people who were fairly mature for their age. Most likely, you won't meet anyone worth spending your life with until you're at least 20. There's time. Figure out who you are before you give your life to someone else.
  7. You're 12 and you already know you're bisexual? Kids these days... Anyways, I'm in a relationship and I love it. Hopefully we'll be married within the next couple of years. We've been dating for over a year and a half and it's going strong. We're just broke right now.
  8. Hasbro still hasn't said anything, have they? I would like them to make an official announcement about it, just to clear confusion and stop the rumors.
  9. If I ever learn how to sew, I'm going to get the Canterlot set that includes the mane 6 in their "ball" attire and make Gala dresses for those ponies. I think considering their shoes and stuff attached to them aside from the dresses, it would be hard to dress and undress them. But I'll need money to do all that...
  10. I heard a rumor that Hasbro is trying to get welovefine to get rid of all their Derpy merchandise. Urrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrggggggggggggggggggg the rumors! They kill! Hasbro PLEASE talk to us!!
  11. I just restyle the manes. It's actually pretty easy once you get the hang of it. Rainbow Dash's mane is the worst because the color scheme is off. I intend on buying new nylon hair from dollyhair.com at some point and just rehairing her completely. So she's the only one of the mane 6 I haven't restyled yet. But yeah, everyone else was fairly simple. As for the recolors, I used to hate them. Now I think they're cute. I bought Snowcatcher because she came with a kitty, and I used the kitty to make Opalescence. I purposefully bought a Fluttershy with Angel the bunny from Hasbro's shop because I couldn't find her with Angel anywhere else. I also purposefully bought the Ride Along with Rainbow Dash so that I could get the turtle, and I gave the scooter to Scootaloo. I dunno what I'm going to do about Owlicious but he's not top priority - I got Twilight with Spike and a brushable pink Celestia who I painted white. I might make a Gummy out of polymer clay, since I doubt that Gummy will ever be a toy. You're right, Hasbro doesn't make completely show-accurate toys, and it's a little bothersome. But there are ways to get over that. You just have to be good with your hands, or have a friend who is. Buying the toys supports Hasbro financially, and if you love MLP, why not buy the products?
  12. Pinkie Pie and Weird Al would become best friends. And that's saying something. AND HE COULD DO PARODIES AND POLKAS OF SONGS FROM THE SHOW SADFHJDSHKL;GHIDSIHFDSKLFDSJKLFDSJKL
  13. I would like it to happen once. But I can't currently pick a celebrity guest that I'd want. Except maybe Weird Al. That would be awesome. Anyways, if it happened in every episode, it would get stale and the focus would no longer be on the mane 6 or friendship. It would just be a nod to celebrities. But that's not why we all fell in love with the show in the first place.
  14. I've signed everything I'm aware of. Clearly THOUSANDS of bronies are taking a stand on this. We can get Hasbro to listen. If they listened to us about Derpy before, they can do it now. I really want the original back for sale. I know the new DVD will have the original, but what about the official season 2 release? Will it have the original, or the edited? The edited is such horrible quality and has nowhere near the same charm that the original has. The edited version is what could make the show unwatchable if Hasbro listened to every complaint they received. If they bent their backs on this issue, who knows how often people will try to take advantage of them again.
  15. Bronies still like pony toys. Although I do agree that a shirt would be an awesome gift. welovefine is an amazing site but be sure to order early so that it comes on time for his birthday.
  16. I recently rewatched the Mare Do Well episode, and while I can see why people hated it, I didn't dislike it that much... it just doesn't have rewatch value. Rainbow Dash is known to brag, but I think that she had far too many monologues (the only good one was the one when she said, "I hate being alone") and when she did speak to other characters, it wasn't particularly realistic. The number of freak accidents in this episode was meh, but I find them to be comic relief in a way, so that aspect wasn't horrible. The timing of it was off to me, too. It was slow in some parts and rushed in others. I also find that the rest of the mane 6 were rather disrespectful to Dash and while they said in the end that they did want her to be a hero, they didn't act like that when they were doing the Mare Do Well trick. I dunno, the character interactions in general were just off. All in all, towards the bottom for me. I think this episode could have been done a lot better.
  17. Well, Spike is getting a new episode in a few weeks. It will be the first time we'll see him with other dragons, too. I'm looking forward to that episode very much.
  18. This is exactly how I feel about the Spike/Rarity ship. And not only is he still a boy (at least, in comparison to Rarity), Rarity treats him like a boy, not like a grown man. For them to get together as a couple while she still treats him like a boy would be... awkward, and probably not socially acceptable. Rarity wants to be with a full-grown, mature man, and I think that's what she needs in a man as well, because she is a strong, capable, independent woman. While Rarity is into modern fashion and coming up with new trends, at the same time, I find her to be more old-fashioned and classy. She wanted to marry Prince Blueblood, after all (until of course she found out that he's a douche who lacked all the chivalry in the world, but her impression of her before the Gala was that he was a gentlecolt).
  19. By non-canon merchandise, do you mean the recolors? Like Lily Blossom and Feathermay and Blossomforth and Lulu Luck and Dewdrop Dazzle and Snowcatcher (etc)? I think they're cute but if would be nice if they could make an appearance in the TV show, even if they only became background characters.
  20. Eh, Pinkie Pie can't be everypony's favorite. She was my first favorite for her randomness but not everyone enjoys that kind of humor.
  21. A few years ago when one of my roommates was in the kitchen crying because her boyfriend broke up with her, I was like, "Oh... ok" and she said that I smiled a little as I turned around and went back in my room. She said that at first she was offended, but then she was like, "Wait I smile when sad things happen too, it's just a weird way people react to sad things sometimes." Funny thing was that I was planning on breaking up with my boyfriend that afternoon (and I did). My roommate and I had a good laugh about it that evening. I'm laughing right now just remembering the situation. Smiling/laughing at sad stuff is a stress-coping mechanism, apparently.
  22. Anyone here played Jet Force Gemini for the N64? I'd love a remake of that. Also, I was one of the few who had a Sega Saturn as a child, so I remember many games from it, but since hardly anyone else owned a Saturn, people don't know about any of the games I'd be talking about... so gaming companies probably wouldn't make a lot of money remaking most of these games. :/
