  1. I don't really play scary games, so these are a little bit silly: Crysis 2: I had no idea what it was about, and when I was asked to go into the sewers with "Multiple Heat Signitures" all I could think about was "ZOMBIES!!!" A bit silly, really. Fallout: New Vegas: "Go over there!" I was told. "There's a metal dog!" They said. Unfortuneatly, they didn't mention the CENTAURS!! I was pretty much ambushed. And the best part? "Oh wait, the metal dog is in Vegas, not over there DERP!" Minecraft: First time playing I was scared SO MUCH! The ominous cave noises, my first encounter with night and a creeper. I'm fine now, but the depressing music keeps me on the edge.
  2. I would say the backstory of my op, but I want to save that for another time. Let's just say my OP thinks he made a terrible mistake in Cloudsdale. Enough ponies, Faceless!!! You have work to do today!
  3. I've read many stories where it does this, and many other pictures. I think it's quite hard to imagine a fan-ficition in a show. Pictures are a bit easier to me.
  4. Quite a few times. Living in the English countryside in a farmer's county and all... Have you ever fantasized of becoming a DJ? Even if you know you can't?
  5. I'm currently working on a fan fiction which is aimed at bringing out her attributes on an amesometacular adventure with Braeburn THe problem is, she seems mainstream when she isn't. Who is the first pony Twilight met in Ponyville? Besides Pinkie's weird half-meet? Exactly
  6. Instead of missing it, you can always watch it on a live stream. I live in the UK so no hub over here. I try and watch it live on livestreams. For next week, try haxmega or the brony community one... But on the episode, it was good, I enjoyed it, but it wasn't head-over-heels amazing. Hang on, isn't a head over the heels anyway? PHILOSORAPTOR MAKING TIME!!!! I CALL IT!!! Already done
  7. (On phone so excuse me for any mistakes!) Faceless tried to get comfortable in his bed, but only was able to get a few short-lived naps. He was confused by his behaviour. He was never really jittery before an expedition, so why now? Was it about his last adventure? The sudden breach of quiet? Or was it, more likely, the realisation that violence may become apparent in this quest. Expeditions usually didn't require such force. He was going somewhere where nopony had been in centuries. His only problems then was getting TO those places. Sure, it was usually armed to the teeth in booby traps, puzzles and the odd haunting, but it never faced him. To Flyer, this was different. He was going against very alive ponies which he may have to kill. He hadn't killed anypony since... Faceless quickly pushed away his past to the back of his mind. As he rose out of his bed and got his stuff together. He wasn't going to get any sleep so he might as well be there early... While it was still dark. Faceless got out of the door, and made his way to the meeting point.
  8. Majorly? I can think of one unintentional time with a garden rake... no joke. Have you ever passed out during a very important event? With everyone watching? Publicly?
  9. It seems so easy!!!! And then when I try, I get something that looks like something out of Resident Evil/Gears of War/my nightmares!!!! But yeah, I really like it.
  10. I wouldn't say there is a rule. It's just when you know the show has run out of ideas to make it interesting. However, most TV developers make mistakes. At the point of running out of ideas, they SHOULD come up with a good story to conclude all unanswered questions and conclude the character's problems. And here is where the mistakes come in: Mistakes: 1) Let's kill everyone! (E.g. Lost, Merlin, Being Human (UK version), Primeval). 2) Make a story line which was bigger than the last one! (E.g. Doctor Who, True Blood, Bones) 3) Let's carry on FOREEEEVERRR!!! (THe Simpsons, The Office, Bones, this is a massive list).
  11. I love them! And it's good that you stick to what you know about drawing humans. Maybe you could try doing a pony some other time. Mind you, the first pony I drew wasn't great.... I don't actually even draw so it was never going to be great
  12. Faceless had been listening to the whole discussion quietly, mulling over the options. Of course he was going to join the band of ponies, but he was unnerved by the option of having to use his weapon, especially when his sword-fighting skills never got as far as practice. However, he had a trick up his sleeve. Flyer made his way back to his house and went to a portrait on the wall. He slid it off to reveal a safe. Cliched, he knew, but safe nevertheless. Inside was some savings and a few keep-sakes. His hoof reached further into the safe until it came in contact with some leather. He pulled out a leather sash, which looked normal at first, until he reached into a compartment of it and retrieved a knife. Faceless spun round and threw it at the portrait, hitting his target accurately. He never liked the thing anyway. Faceless hoped he wouldn't have to use the knives as he retrieved his knife and put it back into its individual pocket. He smiled and went to his bed, to be well rested for the days ahead.
  13. Hey, if that's your opinion, then stick to it man! Personally, I quite like the idea of ponies with alcohol. They need to let down their mane sometimes!!!
  14. I can give you a list of all the times this has been brought up in a picture or a fan-fic. Let me see... And now for some fiction work... http://www.fimfiction.net/story/22546/drop-of-moonshine An awesome one-shot story about the Princesses, who have banned alcohol, try some of Luna's own. http://www.fimfiction.net/story/17980/a-night-to-try-to-remember And this is about the night after the Mane Six get a little bit wasted! The topic is quite widespread and totally unsure. What I found interesting from your post, was that the wikipedia page says "There is no time left to ferment." Wouldn't that suggest they CAN make alcoholic drinks if they wanted to?
  15. Faceless was surprised at bumping into somepony, finding himself lost in his thoughts. He looked up and apologized when he began to notice that they had stirred some attention to ourselves, including the stallion he was looking for. Flyer took his chance, and clopped his hooves together. "Well all of us seem to be interested in this burning that has happened. I suggest we maybe share information to find this "colt"prit together. Anypony agree?"
  16. Faceless quickly ran back to his house with his empty saddlebags, packing a journal, food and other necessary things that he deemed fit. The first thing I should do is look for that pony with the scroll that he got from the site. That's my best bet at finding whoever has been causing chaos! Flyer was just about to leave when he paused, and looked across the room to a long knife in a worn, leather-sheath. He pondered over the item, carefully. On the one hoof, he hadn't used a weapon in a while, but on the other, this pony DID have some skill on him. Faceless didn't want to be left unprotected. He quickly grabbed the knife and concealed it on the underside of his leather satchel. He walked out into the day to find the mysterious pony and take vengeance for Twilight and, of course, her beloved books.
  17. My friend has a griffin OC. There is actually a picture of him in my OC's page (in my signature). He thinks that the Griffins are given WAY too much stick, so he tried to make a better one instead.
  18. Faceless got to the ruins, seeing the library in ruins. He wiped a tear away, not sure if it was from the soot or some of the memories that he had shared with the old place. He looked around, seeing a few ponies oddly mulling around. One picked up a scroll from the ruins and walked away from the wreckage. Flyer made a mental note to consult the pony sometime in the near future. Suddenly, he saw Twilight being lead off by a group of her friends. "Miss Sparkle!" Faceless shouted to get her attention, waving around some saddlebags that he had in his hoof. "I have some books for you! I borrowed them from the library recently. They aren't much, but I thought I should return them to you straight away..."
  19. Faceless sits down for a light breakfast as he rubs some bruises on his body from his last endeavour. Well, that's enough adventures for a while. Plus, enough money to last me a while. Faceless idly listened to the radio, until he heard the words: "...Ponyville- the swordsman has broke into to Twilight Sparkle's treehouse library home..." At this point, Flyer had spilled his breakfast over a moderately pricey manuscript. Ignoring this, he listened to the radio intently, his eyes widening at each word. "So much for my break," Faceless murmured, as he started to pack a load of books into his saddlebags, wincing slightly as the bags brushed passed his healing scrapes. He grabbed a necklace on the way out of his cottage, closing his door behind him and heading straight for the library...
  20. Faceless tried to soften his features, smiling warmly. "Cool. I'm a Rescue Worker. It's good to meet you Shining. Again, sorry." Great! You're meant to be saving ponies, not giving them heart attacks! Flyer addressed the whole group. "So, is this all of us? Do we have to sign in somewhere?"
  21. What is your dream? Why do YOU think you were put here on this earth to do? I'm in a pretty deep-thinking mood and I don't know why! My life goal is to achieve my dreams, help as many people as I can and die smiling! How about you? What is your life goal? I don't think this thread has been made, which I was surprised at
  22. Let me tell you something, friend. Life is WAY too awesome to worry. You're here now, so enjoy it while you are! If you think about it, we are the lucky ones! We are the children of the internet, since its kind of a recent thing. We have made it what it is today. WE ARE THE FOUNDERS! Most things will end, but here is the code I live by. I see life as a challenge, and my life goal is to achieve my dreams, help as many people as I can, and die smiling!
