Also I like the Vanillish evolutionary line just because it is actually pretty strong. I love sending him out, getting laughed at, then face wrecking.

Hmm. I don't really dislike a lot of pokemon, so it's hard to say.

 

I'm gonna say Gulpin

It's the stomach pokemon, and that's just, kinda disgusting. And I just don't really care for it, it's combat abilities are pretty bleh too. Overall I am just not a big fan of it.

 

On a side note, I actually don't mind the ice cream cone, or some of the other pokemon who are considered stupid, I'm not saying anyone else has to like them or anything, i'm just saying personally I don't mind them, I even like some of them.

 I'm really just bored and I like seeing people defend their opinions. Even if I agree I'll take devil's advocate to see if they can hold their own or if they'll roll over. If you're going to have an opinion you better be ready for attacks on all sides.

I already talked about my least favourite Pokémon earlier, but I will say that I also dislike Lumineon. Why does this thing exist? It's so forgettable...

If every single Pokémon was just an animal, Game Freak would run out of ideas fast. It makes me roll my eyes when people think all Pokémon are just wild animals. The only Pokémon I would consider animalistic is Seaking, but that's it.

 

Pokémon are based on a group of supernatural creatures called Yokai, which are really well known in Japanese culture, since Pokémon originated from Japan. Many, many Pokémon are also based on certain Yokai, such as Ninetales (Kistune), Shiftry (Tengu) and Froslass (Yuki-onna).

 

There is also a group of certain Yokai called Tsukumogami, which are objects that come to life after a century. I hear hundreds upon hundreds of people whining about many Pokémon, namely Vanillite and Garbodor. The fact that Pokémon is influenced by Yokai also really explains why Vanillite exists. It may be based on an ice cream cone, but it is also influenced by how objects come to life after many years. Same goes for Garbodor, Magnemite, Swirlix, Grimer, Bronzor and many other Pokémon.

 

I find it quite a delight that Pokémon is more then just "animals with superpowers". It makes the series more bigger and exciting. c:

I get that it's Porygon2 corrupted by illegal data...but it seriously looks like they took a Porygon2 behind some alley and beat it repeatedly with a crowbar. I don't care how useful of a Glass Cannon it is either! Then there's the Bert and Ernie Pokemon a.k.a Throh and Sawk. I can forgive other humanoid Pokemon because they still resembled animals in some way, but these things are wearing clothes! Not fur or skin resembling clothes, actual clothing they could take off and wash in a stream. Give me a living sword or a doll possessed by a spirit any day.

Hey, don't be dis-ing on honedge. He's pretty cool. Being ghost and steel he's not affected by loads of attacks making him very useful if you catch and raise him at the start of the game.
