Warbringer because NNL's thrash rubs off on me whenever he's here.

ITS THE ONLY THING I LISTEN TO PLEASE DONT HATE ME~

And if you didn't know, now you know.

Saw that article this morning. It's hilarious...ly stupid. Plausable, considering domestic violence can happen, but hilariously stupid.

Nothing in particular, it's just overdone for me and I was hoping for something better.

You're killing me, bro.

Speaking of cancer, allow me to spread a little your way:

Just some good, mindless thrash from a group I recently found out about. No overproduced nonsense, just straightforward, go-for-the-jugular metal.

Arsonists Get All The Girls are the equivalent of Between the Buried and Me and Mr. Bungle having a baby.

One pissed off, technical deathcore baby.

I encourage and embrace the thrash, bruddah.

Blast from the past on this one.

Not everyone's cup of tea, but I loved these guys and I'm rediscovering why.

The anime's have increased in here, too.

The guys you posted remind me of Fueled By Fire by glance, but someone else that I don't remember in terms of music. Regardless, what do you think of Seregon?

METAL AS FVCK

Boris opened with this song last friday. iirc, Ampilfier Worship is their "sludge influenced" album.

Liking the guitar work, though the vocals could do with some variations.

More melodic and progressive than the other stuff they've revealed for this album. Still, just makes me more excited.

Loving the vocals on this one. B-but why did the breakdown have to conclude the song? sad.png

Yea so, I like Twilight now. (OK, that came out sounding wrong) I needed some good USBM and Twilight delivers. (Twilight is my least favorite of the mane six btw.) I listened to their selftitled album and I really liked.

I'm also listening to Pestilence for the first time ever right now.

This song's the first I've heard from them, but from what I hear, they're definitely going on my list of bands to check out. (A list that's already long as balls, but I'll get around to whittling it down some day...)

Ditto as of 3 minutes ago. I must say, I'm intrigued.

To rattle off yet another thrash group I've recently gotten into:

Saw them in concert opening for Iced Earth and Symphony X. They're pretty decent, but I'm kind of 50/50 on the lead guitar work...I feel it should be just a little more nuts for this particular "color" of thrash.

I actually found out about Warbringer a few months back. I have War Without End and Worlds Torn Assunder.

I'm going to post more Pestilence because I'm really digging them right now.

Cool. Their other EP, Disposable Suffering is also a cool piece to check out.

Fuck. I was wanting to go to that show, but couldn't because of the age restriction. How was it?

Dillinger's new album leaked today, so I feel as though this is relevant.

I figured I'd pop into this thread which is clearly still thriving one last time before I leave this forum for good, since I can't delete my account. Gonna miss you guys, you're literally the only reason why I decided to come back here.

It was pretty badass, I must admit. All three bands totally killed it that night, although Symphony X probably put on the best show as far as fan interaction and all that whatnot. Personally, I came for Iced Earth, and was pretty stoked to hear them play one of my favorite classics (which Stu Block did an amazing job with):

Actually paying attention to age restrictions at concerts/venues...

I am disappoint, NNL.

The whole thing leaked? Damn, I need to check that out ASAP.

Sucks I never got to know you, dude. Whatever you do and wherever you go, make sure you're having a good fucking time. That's what it's all about, bruddah.

*salutes*

I love me some Iced Earth. And Stu Block is great too, just as he was in Into Eternity.

I'm pretty sure they also released a live album with Stu Block in it too! It's got some of the old stuff, including Dante's Inferno. I'm just looking for more stuff like that from Horror Show. It's my favourite Barlow album.

That's a great album, my personal favorite song is Dracula because of the sexy fretless bass and the chorus that sticks in my head for hours.

I'm hard-pressed to choose a favorite Barlow album. I think the two top contenders for me would be Something Wicked and Night of the Stormrider (never mind, I'm a dumbass. That was John Greely...sure sounds a lot like Barlow, I'll give him that). Top picks from those being:

Again, NOT Barlow, but I'll keep it here because dammit, it's a great song:

Def Leppard All The  Way!

I know that this is probably not what yall have in mind when it comes to metal but I always have the 80s in mind when anyone says metal.  The link is to my all time favorite song.

I've got an 80's streak in me, not gonna lie.  That's the stuff my early childhood was made up of.
