These are my favorite songs from that album:

Constant Motion

The Dark Eternal Night

Both are great tracks, but my favorite from the album has to be Forsaken.

I see too little thrash. Allow me to remedy that.

You want some thrash? Here you go. :3

I love the frantic, raw, murcurial quality of Converge's music.  I first heard their work when I went to a show in Austin in 2009 when they were touring with Dethklok.  Anyways, props to Epitaph Records for freely publishing most of their full albums in high quality on YouTube.  Still, if I like 'em, I buy 'em...if you don't support the music you love, it dies.

Lately I've been playing the hell out of their 2012 record "All We Love We Leave Behind."  Its title track hits close to home for me.  Its video is especially gut-wrenching, mostly for its stark simplicity that only hints at thematic elements, rather than spelling them out visually.

Let me just take a second to say ...THIS THREAD IS  BADASS! The concentration of metal here is so strong, that I'm surprised that it hasn't created a singularity of awesomeness. B)

Here's some brony metal by Equestrian Lord that deserves more attention

Go Check 'em out! They have many other great songs. Also they are planning on releasing an album soon!

 I know there's got to be someone that appreciates the modern, non-radio stuff?

I enjoy Dream Theater. Does that count? They're relatively modern, and I've only ever heard them on radio once (and it was a Sirius satellite metal-only station).

Lolwut. They only had one album in the 80's, and it was probably the only album NOT worth mentioning. >.< DT is totally a 90's band. But yeah, they do have exactly 3 songs on Rock Band. Panic Attack, Constant Motion, and On The Backs Of Angels. And when/where the hell did you hear them on the radio? Their songs rarely ever get played, mainly because the average DT song is around 8 minutes long.

They started up in the 80's so they're a little older than my preferences xD; even though they became big in the 90's yes.

I do believe it was Panic Attack I heard, I could be wrong but I think they cut it short.  I know I've heard it a few times though.
