Brony criticizes Dave Polsky at a Con

Apparently the uploader is now having a bit of remorse for the hate the poor guy is receiving so he uploaded another vid showing Dave Polsky answering a better said criticism and also changed the title of his vid as he's now seeing what he has done.

I love Dave Polsky, but when stuff is not acknowledged in the episode it just seems like he is making stuff up on the fly trying to answer questions like that.

 

I think it would be better for him to admit that he just didn't think of that, rather than saying that Ahuizotl is delusional, though there is a chance that he might get what he is trying to do. I doubt that when they thought this idea up someone went "Hey, let's make a villain that thinks he may do something, but can't really." No one expects the writers to be perfect.

 

But this is just my opinion...

Someone took a lot of effort to make the episodes/Season, so I don't really see it as an appropriate thing to do.

What a way to lower someone's self esteem. On the internet is fine, but criticising the guy in front of hundreds of people.

I'm all for constructive criticism, but yelling at a writer for a cartoon just for their bad episodes is pretty silly.

 

I think that Dave Polsky is a good writer. I especially enjoyed all of the episodes he written for Season 4. The way he responded to the hater is pretty nice, too.

Yep. The reality is the writers don't get the show the way fans do and that's fine. Actually it's a good thing, but it means that we can't always look to them for answers- they see the show much differently. That doesn't mean we can't learn from their answers or trolling (looking at you Meghan). It's simply one more tool in our fan toolbox. Edited September 4, 2014 by Nature's Spell
