I've made my post, now I'm done with my part of the dream scene. If you want to just continue on to the morning, that's fine. I'll have the doctor visit in the morning and proceed with removing the stick. As you can see, I also added in a new character, which I would like to eventually bring toward your family, just to see how they react, but we'll see what happens. I would definitely suggest reading her bio though. The link is above the picture, I'll add it to my signature later.

None of the characters are capable of joining Serenade in her dream because she wasn't present when the Everwood trees were cut down. I'm not sure if that's where you were going with the dream thing.

I did make a mention to the library thread a while back, writing along the lines of Omen - much like me - having no idea how the system in the library worked. I figured that you'd answer things yourself eventually so I wouldn't have to ask someone smarter than me to baseline it. ^^

It's a numerical system, the books are sorted by which edition they are, the first bookshelf on the left containing all first editions, the second containing second and third editions, the third containing fourth and fifth editions, the fourth containing the sixth and seventh editions, and last, the fifth bookshelf containing the eight and ninth editions. The book is in the top half of the last bookshelf.

 

Edit: Also, the books in that section of bookshelves are all plant related, meaning that they are looking in the right section.

Ah, I see then. Yet, it wouldn't make much sense for me to have Omen realise that as much as stumble over the right one by accident if it were. I have to have her somewhat clueless on certain things, and the inability to read makes it hard to justify knowing the complete system as much as relying on someone else that's smarter than her to cut through the off scribbles on the books.

 

Oh, and for the record, the part written now with Vivid is because it seems like Missklang is unlikely to return, though I still needed some pieces there ready for Charlie and Briar later on. Figured this was a good, neutral way of handling things, and then we can eventually see where it leads.

 

I'll have her wander around until the time comes when it fits with her going somewhere others are, or if anyone needs her at a particular place, like at the dream gate or at the Changelings etc.

Heh, I've let some with a short backstory pass before, so no worries there. ^^ As long as the base is there (Which it seems to be) and there is a visual (there Really is that... Like seriously well drawn) that's all that's really needed. The rest is icing in the cake. :3 Consider yourself accepted.

 

Now the timeline is currently morning, with up to 24 hours ahead of that allowed. The main amount of players are at the Castle that used to house the two princesses, though some are in the forest currently (more specifically Summer Breeze's house out there) with a Human, trying to find his friend Barrel that is currently somewhere unspecified with one of my OC's. Furthermore, we have two that are currently in Ponyville, standing at the gates of Twilight's castle, and a group of three at the baker.

 

That being said, you don't need to join any of the current groups. If you have an idea you want to run with that is either your own angle or want to start more calmly and work towards another group, you're more than welcome to as well, and I'll make sure that you're not stuck all by yourself in such a case. ^^

And as usual, you have the right to play the cannon the way you see fit, and decide who is and who is not there if it is, as well as the option to step away from it and proclaim there's nopony home if it is.

That seems mighty interesting. You're accepted as well. ^^ You can read the things about timelines and the current groups up in the reply made for inTEMsive, as it seems silly to repeat it, and the same goes for you, including the offer to help in case you need an intro to things. ^^

 

However, an added things since your OC is a young guard: Amongst the ones at the bakers, there is an OC I haven't made a bios for yet called Stargazer, a large, older batpony blank-flank that is part of the Night Guard and got transferred there the day before the current one in RP time. It would be a good angle to have them meet up if not at the start, then eventually at least as that would make a good deal of sense, and it could be kinda funny. ^^

 

There is a picture of him a few pages back in the RP you can go with for a visual for now. Though as much as I'm using him these days, I think I'm gonna have to make him a bios during the weekend to ease things.

I was busy typing out my post when you made yours, but it doesn't seem to cause any conflict in the timeline except that maybe Twilight missed the tongue. By the way, the doors should open inward I think.

I'd like to add in Ink and Quill to interact with Officer Strike if you don't mind. I know I have a lot of OCs in this already, but it's just so addictive. The two of them are twins and they always travel together. The bios may be a little underdeveloped, the link is in my signature. I have an idea of how to bring them in, too, and it could give a reason for Star Gazer to get involved.

I would think so, since we've used them in this thread here and there over the roughly year and a half we've been running, and none of the admins that sometimes show up have said anything against it. ^^
