Minor thing mate, a better way to phrase Clayton seeing Gordan's cutie mark would be *Clayton might see Gordan's cutie mark. A black sun.* as otherwise it could appear as godmodding. That being, controlling what another players OC does. ^^ I can live with it this time fine mate, just thinking it good to tell you, as not all are as happy about it, and I don't want you to get a hard time from others.

Well not a whole lot, i understand that its like creating a story off of your oc and you react to situations and such as that oc, but not much else than that.

If you're talking about the OOC (Out Of Character) thread, that's this thread.  In this thread, roleplays are planned out or commented on, but no actual roleplaying takes place.

Once @@Blitz Boom approves your character, then you're free to make your first post in the RP thread, which usually involves a narrative of how your character arrived in the setting.  You may also include a reasonable narrative that describes you beginning interactions with other characters in the RP so long as you describe how you managed to get to the same place they happened to be at the same time.  If you do this, it would be best to have their permission first, though if nothing exciting is currently happening with them, I don't think it would be too big of a sin to just have your character introduce themselves to them.  The obvious exception to this is if, say, they were busy fighting a monster or some other less-violent yet still dramatic scene was unfolding and you inserting your character would inevitably disrupt the flow.

I'm so, so, so sorry for the delay in this. :/ Been some hectic days and I completely forgot to check the OOC for stuff. I'll go through things with you now.

 

Big thanks to @@Hazard Time, and @@~Phoenix~, for handling the first few phases I missed here first though. Seems like you needed some help and they were thankfully able and around to get that done. Thanks mates.

 

Now then, to the character, it's simple and to the point, without something akin to *I can destroy the universe with a thought!* so I'm totally fine with it. Consider yourself approved.

 

As for how to get you into things, there is several ways, but since you seem to want to easily slide into the RP currently and your post mentions financial issues in the family, that makes him go look for a job... I have a pretty direct suggestion actually.

 

A few days ago, I made a quick NPC (background character essentially, though sometimes they grow into more) called Clayton Quartz, who owns his own construction company with his main seat being in Canterlot. He is also active on the trading market for gems and as such, he's pretty well off. However, he also deals poorly with stress, and have many things he needs to get done right now, which leaves him sorely lacking an assistant. You see where I'm getting at?

 

If you think Thunder Crush could do well in basic clerical work, like filing and sending paper, walking around and writing things down at times when Clayton haves meeting and deals that needs to be taken care of, and at times shake him out of a spell where he's standing around and nervously babbling off endlessly (Might take him a bit to realize when the best time for this would be, but he's forgiving, so no worries there) we can have him written in as that. He's just gone off towards the Ponyville Post Office and away from the one I had him writing with before, so he's free for the time being.

 

If you want us to find another idea, we totally can, I just figure that this would be fine as it also pops you softly into the main story currently, which is a day after the attack on Ponyville, when they're trying to rebuild.

 

(Sidenote, there is a few that is still taking place on the day, but those are mainly between me and Seamore as it is, so it should be fine to read the difference. Let me know if it isn't of course though)

 

We could either go with meeting Clayton at the postal office or on the way there, they talk, and Clayton - for whatever reason that would show itself in the RP - would hire Thunder for the time being to help him with the current stress before it sends him into a corner. There'll be a lot of talking, both so he can learn more about your OC and because talk relaxes him in the long run. Somewhat mundane things does surprisingly well, like where one is from etc.

 

Thunder could also have been working for him for a few months, and would arrive in Ponyville after Clayton had sent for him to show up. I think that usually, he'd have Thunder around with him to things, but he hadn't originally taken him along in this scenario because there were things that needed to be filed, and it seemed like a simple trip that wouldn't require a lot of out him and would give Thunder a bit of time to just relax. Clayton isn't a bad boss or a snob after all. I can't write those kinds well enough. (Or perhaps I can, but don't want to. Either one)

 

In any case, he could've sent for him when it turned out to be going worse than he originally anticipated then, and it could start with Thunder finding him in Ponyville. It's up to you how they met before in this scenario, though potentially, he arrived at the pony's office looking for a job, or met him randomly out and about and Thunder helped him calm down, and it went from there. Just some suggestions at least.

 

And that is what both things here are: Suggestions. if it doesn't work for you, then fair enough, we'll think of something else. Just figured that this could work out if it were. ^^ And if you do consider it, but need more info on Clayton, lemme know, and I'll whip something up. I can make a background in a jiffy.

Bio: After a mutation within her DNA, she turned into a zombie, though not a flesh eating zombie, she does not partake of the flesh, though she wouldn't say no to a pint of blood. She likes to follow around other ponies and occasionally breaks into Ponyville hospital to steal some blood donations, otherwise she would end up going on a rampage and probably be arrested and jailed for life. Currently shes just broken out of Ponyville hospital in the latest amount of blood theft, though she is currently in a friendly mood, she only needs a packet of blood a week to keep her zombie side suppressed.

Seems in order, though FYI, you might wanna beware of using that image from the Don't Mine At Night youtube vid in any potential bios you make later on. Using other artists art like that can end up badly. ^^ Good taste though, as it is a good vid.

 

We can set you as accepted, though I'm gonna have to say that this likely can't be part of the main storyline, as with all the chaos in town and the business at the hospital, somepony would likely have taken notice of Blood Drops. Still, a side adventure ain't bad either. Anything you'd want to in particular, or do you think writing a small intro on how you broke out of the hospital and then taking it from there would work?

The others make a good point. It also makes it easier to see when your own post actually begins. You can just quote my post, then fill the text with the word *stuff* or something, and it should work fine. I could swear I've seen another do that recently at least.
