Random thought:

 

Happy Hour reminds me of a few different villains I know of... But the first name that pops to mind, as far as similarities go, is Yagami Light from the anime Death Note. Well, personality wise. Some others I can think of include Sylar from the TV show Heroes, and... I dunno, Lelouch from Code Geass?

 

Random thought over, you may all return to your regularly scheduled forums and foods. :-P

 

Edit: Now that I think about it, I never finished watching Code Geass, so I'm not sure if Lelouch would really be considered evil or a villain.. Definitely not a nice guy tho, and I guess the opposing faction would consider him the villain. Everything's a matter of perspective at times..

The only one of those things that rings a bell is Death Note, and I only know the name because my sister watches it.

 

Honestly, the thought process of Happy Hour were just that I wanted to make a changeling that were manipulative and evil in a way that could end up giving other changelings a bad name, but disguise himself as nothing more than an innocent wine-seller as he scoured the lands and prepared information that would be helpful in potential invasion/send ponies of interest back to the hive.

 

Then I went looking for a changeling creator to get a picture of him set up, but didn't find anything really as the only one that kept popping up were one where it looked like a regular drone, with very few things that were possible to change. Kept looking, and eventually found one that had the word, but were a human converter of sorts, and well... My brain just took it from there. Found it interesting to have a converted human whilst writing, and kept it going until I had a story. ^^ It gives some nuances of him having to get used to the pony world too at times, as well as the severe outsider aspect of being what he is, etc. And I like stuff like that. Makes room for some internal monologue. ^^

It won't be a permanent delay. Just means that what they have going will be going on the next day, whilst we finish up what goes on the current day. It shouldn't take too long to get caught up to the same day if needed. ^^

 

Looks like a fine idea is going on between you two currently, and it seems to work well, so I just try to make things fit timeline wise, which is thankfully not that much of a bother.

Alright, if you go with the singer/dancer angle, we can give you a tentative pass for the time being, and then see if things doesn't work out, though I do have to insist on it being a side adventure, at least at first whilst we see how things goes, alright? I just need to be sure on things.

 

If you are a performer, is there anyplace in particular you'd want the setting to be? And do you want for me to make the first post and set the scene, or would you prefer to do so?

Big monster smash Ponyville up real good, is the essential part really. They are rebuilding the town currently, so anypony willing to help is appreciated, and are to report to forepony Last Stand to get set up with a gig, or prepared to be part of the next shift currently set to happen in about three hours in the future, in RP time (no idea how long that is. Until we drag towards that I guess).

 

Really, I could write page up and page down about everything that led up to this, but trust me, easier to just say he wasn't in town on the day, then comes back next day to find the town's a bit knackered, and is being rebuild. Local NPC's or players can provide you with minor summaries in there, without having to give you a 900 page book. ^^

Vanished into thin air or something in the RP unless I can get a hold of him) and considering I have a human changeling convert, me going off on a human showing at this point would be pretty hypocritical.

Now, would you prefer a side adventure, the main story, or to be eased into the main story, by for example appearing far into the woods, then being lead towards town? I can work with anything here really. Also, if you chose the side adventure thing, feel free to check the google doc in my signature for a list of characters, in case you want to pick one to talk with yourself. Main story interaction I will make suggestions, as some are tied down, but not the same with side ones. ^^

I'd be down for that, but the problem with this is that I can't see it doing anything except forcing everyone to stop what they're currently doing to react to everything.  It might work, but I don't see how this could be avoided.

Never heard of it, no. I don't really watch anime, so I barely know even the ones with English names.

 

Also, the Heart's Warming thing. I thought you meant like, a heart warming meeting or something in the RP, not the name of the pony holiday, because unfortunately, that can't happen. :/ The RP is set in the early to mid Autumn, and as @Hazard Time rightly said, it would be a few days of everypony needing to stop what they're doing and respond to this, and that isn't fair to force on 'em. Also, it'd look weird to go over such a thing, and then a few days later, back to the regular schedule. More suited for it's own thread if anything that sort.

 

Besides, I doubt I'm the only one that will be sporadic between tomorrow and the start of the next year, what with the holidays and New Years with family and stuff, so there'd likely not be much traction here I'm afraid.

Just letting you all know that my post today will be the last regular one for a little while. Tomorrow I won't be posting because I have a long bus ride to go after work, and the day after it's Christmas (We celebrate it the 24th in Denmark) where I will be spending most of my time with family. From the day after and until the second of January, I will do what I can, but responses will likely be sporadic, as I will be spending the time at my family, celebrating the end of the year, and I have no idea how much time they have planned for dragging me around to stuff. Might be two days before a response at times, and I'll try to keep you all up to date on things here if it is, but figured I'd give a fair warning.
