I've watched a brony analysis video explaining if Sunset Shimmer is the Element of Magic in the Equestria Girls universe. That theory could be true after watching Friendship Games. What do you all think?

Personally,I've always thought she has no place in the human world and that eventually she will return to Equestria. A couple of episodes focusing on her readjusting to the life she once knew would be awesome!

is she really meant to be the element of magic, I wonder? Sure, that's how it works in human world, but magic is supposed to equal friendship. And just because the humane 5 weren't friends before, doesn't mean friendship- or magic- didn't exist at all in the humane world, before Sunny crossed over. There's also the fact that her CM doesn't exist on the Tree of Harmony, in Equestria. She may have been Sunbutt's student prior to Twi, but if she were the element of magic, a central spark to unite others, as Twi, then wouldn't her CM be on the tree as well?

I like that idea a lot because Sunset, a reformed villain, would be the student of Luna, another reformed villain. I've always imagined they would get along great. My idea for gen 5 of MLP is for Sunset and Twilight being the rulers of Equestria, just like Celestia and Luna are currently the rulers in gen 4. That would be awesome and a dream come true.

Still fond of Luna getting Sunny. Instead of a student teacher relationship, since they share similar experiences they'd be best put together, to help each other grow and learn.

So, anyone wanna talk about how our lovely, undisputed best unicorn (sorry, Vinyl Scratch and Rarity. I still love y'all) was born from an earth pony from gen3, named Sun Shimmer? (Amost identical cutie mark, also)http://mylittlewiki.org/wiki/Sunshimmer

Sadly, Sun Shimmer never showed in the tv series. I hope that doesn't foreshadow her reincarnation's exclusion from the series, as well.
