Remember that time in Season 7 when Sunset Shimmer returned to Equestria as the Princess of Badassery? And Rarity was her right hand mare and they went on all sorts of wacky adventures together?

Does anypony else think that Sunset Shimmer is an Alicorn? I do  :sunshower:

 

I would like to think yes, but the closest we've seen to that is the phoenix transformation from the song, as well as the ending conflict in FG. As such we have no official confirmation one way or another.

she's fine as a unicorn. I don't know why people want to keep changing her into an Alicorn, when we have 8 flippin Alicorns already! we barely have anything in the way of unicorn pony Sunny merch, so there's A LOT more to do with her as a unicorn before she gets the Alicorn treatment.

So help me, if we don't get a UNICORN Sunny Funko...

I honestly like her more as a unicorn than a alicorn and I would like it to keep it that way, at least for now. Either way I would still love her <3

I completely agree with you there. I'm sick and tired of fans referring to her as Sunset Shimmer 2.0. It's the reason behind my hatred of Starlight. As for the Unicorn vs. Alicorn Sunset, even though I want her to be an alicorn so badly, I have doubts DHX will ever want to do thst. It doesn't matter if she's brought back an alicorn or unicorn, she'll still be Sunny. Now, if she is alicorn, that'll be awesome!
